Hi all, I have a question regarding cruise control: Vehicle: Omega B 3.0V6 Sport, BJ 1997, model year 98. Would like to retrofit a cruise control with my omi. I already have the turn signal lever with the corresponding switches. Wiring harness is also prepared, i.e. the 4-pole plug is on the steering stick lever and the plug for the control unit in the engine compartment is also available. Unfortunately I can not get the contact plug on the steering stick switch because there are 2 noses, which are in the same Now my question: May I unwrapping these (are cast out of Kunsstoff) or have one function. Inside each is a spiral made of metal, which in my opinion have no special function. I still have to install the actuator with the electronic gas train (used by an MV6). Sinks partly from 600 revolutions abruptly to almost 300 revolutions, so that I fear that he will go out In all cases I can also observe this whenever the speed drops, in the same rhythm also the lighting of my MID falls off. Must not add that my engine is “beautiful” oiled from the outside…but have neither oil loss, nor water in the oil and also no blue exhaust gases. But must say that the oil loss has been reduced so slowly. (Probably that it had something to do with this car previously about 3 months in winter and in the free standing only without being moved. u sein..schande) Power losses I can’t hear either and car also depends well on the gas. I’m helpless with the idle. Did anyone ever have this problem?

Tach Yesterday I accidentally drove a little bit backwards with a fully tightened Hanbrake about 1m! The car went back full into the knees on the left or springed extremely deep. After loosening the brake there was a slightly metallic flapping after 2/3 times slow before and reset the noise was gone. The brake pulls without objection but after loosening is just when driving back again this flapping and the coverings quits, the noises are after a few ma l Before/Backrolling disappeared. Can someone tell me if there is something torn down in the drums or if the ev. could be a loose brake lining? I have on the Fzg. still by the end of May CAR-GARANTIE would fall into such a situation?
