  • Zero grip on snow

Hello guys, I had to have a bitter experience today with my 3.0 V6 Caravan. The following situation: 15 cm of fresh snow and no trace of winter service and then there is with me here in the middle mountains already one or the other slope to overcome… But that the Omega soooo does not cut off badly, I would not have thought in dream…. The smallest climb makes biggest problems! The TC does not help the bean further – on the contrary; that is designed for the dry road with 1A grip, dami In winter, however (i.e. on slippery ground) you can forget the part absolutely. I then deactivated the TC and I cross the slopes under the biggest tire wear (you know for sure how I sneaked up my…) … That can’t be… And I want to say that I already have a “sensitive gas foot”. But at the smallest bit the tail breaks out. I also have to beo Is it possible that the electrics are “calculated” because of the large wheel speed difference between the front and rear axles? If you turn off the car and restart the car, the error is gone again. Have you ever seen this before? In my Mondeo this had occurred before… On the grip problem: I will definitely make a few snow today. buy (must), but I have already thought about packing two weights from the construction crane into the trunk… – Recommended???? Or are there other possibilities? Many greetings, Vince

  • From E-Class to Omega B! Can this work well ?

Tach people, I drive next to my B-Vectra another Mecedes E-Class 200E BJ 1992. The E-Class has been in our possession for 14 years now with 200TKM. Unfortunately we have not taken care of this beautiful car in the last 3 years and now some things have to be renewed or changed. The whole fun costs however 2000 €. I think this is not worth repairing. Now I have thought about putting something on it and me an Omega 2.0 with 136 HP and Automa I don’t know anything about the Omega. But I think I get a big car with good equipment for little money. Only my concern is whether it is reliable. Should I dare? How is the Omega of its driving behaviour? Can you compare it with the E-Class? Greeting PS: If I had only taken care of the E-Class

  • AT Gear oil change or not????

Hello @ all, I have always been convinced that you don’t have to change the transmission oil in automatic mode, I have already discussed it here in the forum. My colleague from the FOH said no, TIS 2000 – only under difficult conditions (pass roads/trailer operation) you know yourself. Today we talked about it with a master, but not Opel spec, which means yes! As already said, the opinions share, as already so often. My Omi has 175tkm down, if a change has to be, then yesterday, if you want to go on holiday with your car this year, you don’t want that because of 100€. It’s still wonderful. But you know it yourself, you drive for years without any problems, then you want to drive 1800 kilometers at a time and the cart will stop you somewhere where no one can help. Please don’t waste my time on the search function, there are a lot of opinions about it, only shared ones. That doesn’t really help. MfG

I had to pay the workshop costs k omplett again numbers although guarantee?????????.The thing has now taken over my lawyer. This is really a noise from Opel or what do you mean????????

  • Who has experience with culant with defective seat heating for Omega B 2,5 DTI Built 2002

Hello guys, yesterday I was traveling with my son and in the weather we had of course the seat heating on, but in the meantime only on level “1”. Suddenly I noticed that my seat became abnormally hot, and it smelled rotting (leather), also with my son in the passenger seat. Then I shut both off. Today I noticed then the both seat heatings no longer work! Drive straight to Opel and they tested the ,,,,,, result,,,,, both heating mats defective! stenpunkt ca 1000.-€ for both heating mats plus installation! I asked if this was not a known material error, and that would be repaired on Kulanz? I would have heard something about it! Answer: “Kulanz there is only if the leather had burned through”! “And probably the passenger mat would have been broken for a long time”! Then I said “,, that would have happened if I had not switched it off, “,, our lower legs had become totally hot,and when we were on the seat surface We almost burned our fingers! And the seat heating is used daily because I drive my son to school and so I know that both went to the above-mentioned incident! And I am sure that if one expands the mats will find clear smudge marks! (I had noticed the smell of buried leather and my son too). Will not accept this so, and tomorrow turn to the customer care in Rüsselsheim for the sake of kulanz,,,,,,the two heating mats on one l don’t give up the mind, it’s been a material error, and I think it has to be fixed on a culant! Or what would you advise me to do? Who has experience with the implementation of such demands? To whom can one still turn? That something also comes to the public! The car is built 03/2002 mfg Souljazz

  • strange omega

my omi has macken again n few new beautiful things that occur with my omi: -motor turns after cold start in stand at 2500-3000 rpm, settles after 5 min drive -motor is after cold start off -12 degrees and worse strangled. stays running only when after let every amount of gas is given. -tanker needle shows overfull. shows on “10 clock” !! or just stays down in red. -jetz the most beautiful: with strong spring (beat hole, floor wave) I hear a strange noise. ic h describe it as follows: sounds like if you have glued every amount of ice directly behind the wheel to the speller and that then sits on the floor and so naja crawls but not so scratched. wees real ne as I should describe it. sounds however partly quite dangerous. as if something was sitting up. but I already looked at everything freely below. had such an idea that like water has penetrated into the shock absorber and is frozen. and when it dives this noise arises. or kan n the ice to be in the spring plate? everything sounds pretty stupid but I know really no where it comes from…. PLEASE HELP !! thank you

  • Vehicle registration number

I was at the registration office today and had my gas system registered, on the occasion I also got the new papers. I always thought the new ones were in check card format, but far missing ! The registration (vehicle license) is as large as before, there is also exactly the same in it as before. Only other paper used them. I have now two sheets with the new vehicle license, the gas system they did not get up on the first sheet any more.

  • Check Control Total failure?!?

After having been annoyed by the fact that I don’t have a CC in my luxury study that was a decade ago, I wanted to see if I have already installed the wire harness with plugs for retrofitting. What do I discover in the deep, dark driver’s footroom under the dashboard??? Tataaa: -the relay for the light bulb monitoring and also the relay for the light bulb monitoring of the trailer. To get to the vulture none of the little helpers is coming? Wipe water was already empty, -no message. Plugs pulled off from the taillight, -no message. Invitation to brake light check, -nothing! I’ve already checked all fuses. If someone from you has already experienced the same, or maybe has an idea, then get out of it. But I’m afraid my FOH will have to go with Tech2 at the next inspection! (yes, the Dotti is screwing now… )

  • Error code P12EB 12

Hello, I received such an error code with my GLX Benzin Hybrid (BJ 21) at TÜV P12EB 12 (recurring). TÜV did not pass because no HU was possible. In Polish Opel workshop in Grünberg, I read out with elaborate test of the whole car (translation): “Short circuit (+) in electric circuit of the liquid temperature sensor in the cooling system of the DC charger / rectifier assembly group.” I called Freundlichen in Frankfurt (Oder), in Poland (Grünberg, Landesberg) whether di ese sensor (temperature filler) is to be replaced. ALL have told me, since? not even catalog number for this part gives and you have to replace whole charger. So are the procedures at Opel. Cost point 7000 PLN ( 1600 €!!!) plus labor costs (about 8 h). I have called specialist in Gdansk from the hybrid – car in Gdansk (several branch in Poland, next for me would be in Poznan) and he immediately said that 99,9% could be a seal in liquid pump defective and thus liquid k My friend asked Opel mechanics in Opoles. They said that there should be a known factory error and to eliminate that costs me 5000 PLN (1100 €). But total cost 17 000 PLN!! The difference comes directly from the Opel Poland. And now becomes interesting: for over 3 years, I regularly load the car from the socket and everything is okay. Fully charged and even recuperation works! What do you say? Already had such a problem? And how solved could this be? t? Ingewelchen Idee? Thanks and sorry for grammatical errors. Maszynista
