Meal with each other! Yesterday evening it was now so far-Omi was finished. Still gave a little problem with the tap sensor, but was only wrong connected. I must say, it sounds like new. No clattering hydros more-though not changed-no Ruckeln, nothing. Yesterday I had been in Braunschweig with a friend (A6 TDi bought, he wanted to get out on hell no Omi…) and at the same time glided smoothly with 2500 to 3000 revolutions. Completely without any problems. n almost 500 km, think that got the engine better than to fill in the starting phase with short distances. Unfortunately I forgot the broken piston at my brother-in-law, otherwise I would have put in a photo. But I’m going to do it. Well, hope I have some rest. With the new motörchen he has to hold for a while! Again the done works: -cylinders drilled and hoohed -excess piston installed -crank shaft polished and finely-lighted -all crankshaft and conrod bearings exchanged -ve ntile newly sanded valve shaft seals as well as all other seals/simmerrings/cylinder head screws renewed doesn’t sound so wrong or?? 500 km, then there is new oil and new filters, then I will increase the speed times up to max 4500 revolutions. So, I finally have everything together, exams in the bag and Omi runs again – sometimes life doesn’t mean so bad with one-but just sometimes… Greetings from Leipzig Sepp

Wapu change in timing belt exchange
Hello everybody! It’s time to change the timing belt again. I’m now at the 3rd change (i.e. 180,000 km). I always thought that the water pump would only have to be changed at every 2nd interval. At ATU I was advised to change these also at the 3rd change, otherwise the new, tenser timing belt would be too heavy for the old wapu and this could lick. What’s right? What do you advise me to do? Got oil in the cooler water
Hello Together Drive an Opel Omega 2.6 Bauj:2001 Km 162000 bought by a retired born 1930 top maintained, not smoker, gapless book maintained with full equipment except city heating. I immediately fell in love with the vehicle, only I now have a problem! Have noticed in the cooling water oil a caramel-colored thickness liquid. But keeps the cooling water temperature as nailed and no water in the oil. Smoke about a 1/4 liter oil at 1000 km.The vehicle was at m but never too hot that the ZKD could have given up the eaten. (Bin since the purchase 20000) I only read here in the forum and then pushed on it that it could be the oil cooler. Have the oil cooler now expanded (Habe 1985 on Peugeot learned, ewig her and already 20 years from the occupation) but could not have fixed any fault or hole in the oil cooler. Build the vehicle only at the weekend with a new oil cooler together. Have the oil cooler learned now (Habe 1985 on Peugeot, and already 20 years ago I used it as well as well as I can not have a stomach pain in the city. But now I can not have a good taste.

Winter-2 LIMA
This is the addition of the weekend,Bier and Bratenl! A general recommendation to the alternator is to always have an overcapacity of approx. 20 A in comparison to the power consumption. With the multimeter – while the respective generator is charging the battery – measure the voltage drop between the battery plus pole + and the generator output B+. The voltage drop must in no case be my as 0.4 V, otherwise bad connections or a line error can be suspected. This check and if necessary fix! Errors in the charge control lamp current circuits. Function of the charge control lamp or the circuit by connecting Kl. D+ of the generator belonging to the charge control lamp circuit to check the mass. -Note! Charge control lamp lights up: The error lies in the voltage controller, or the light engine! -Note! Charge control lamp does not light up: The fuses in the charge control circuit or control cable to the charging circuit!

I have a question for you. What about the rust at the Omega B? Mine is built in 8/99. Do I have any problems to expect? I saw one that was already rusty on the body the other day.Or does this only concern vehicles before the 98 model plege? Thanks already in advance!

Opel Calibra x20xev goes out and doesn’t start anymore
Moin all together, have now since a year the problem that my Calibra bj. 1996(97?) has the following problems. It started with a rutting engine which after several exchanged parts has laid down. After that it started, that the car during the drive (just at the stand at the traffic light) as well as while the drive simply went out and then did not jump any more. Sometimes the car starts again when I take off the relays in the footroom passenger side and again plug in or give full gas during the start attempt. Up to now the petrol pumps relays, petrol filters, oil filters, gasoline pump, air mass meter, coolant temperature sensor, crankshaft sensor, ignition cable, spark plugs, ignition coil, oil change, air filter. In addition, the consumption is increased at about 13 liters, but what could lie on leaky exhaust manifolds?. Am with the nerves really at the end, was already in several workshops and no one wants to find what. Does anyone possibly have an idea what the whole could be?
