  • Survey: How satisfied were you with your Subaru in 2011?

The year is slowly coming to an end, it’s time to raise the winter tires again. We hope you’ve come through the year with your mobile kit so far! And to find out if that’s the case, we want to start a small survey again in 2011. As every year, the manufacturers have done a lot to interest us drivers in their products and services and to satisfy their customers. But: How satisfied were you with your car completely subjectively ? Or with the service that every car needs every now and then? So: How was it, your personal car year 2011? Since most manufacturers not only regularly read along with MOTOR-TALK, but are also in contact with us, we are going with the survey result as well as your praise and your criticism in the comments aimed at the manufacturers. Therefore, in the comments, write what you liked about Subaru in general and your Subaru in particular in 2011, what goes even better and what is more wasn’t so dazzling!

  • Leggy woken up from Sleeping Beauty sleep…

A hearty Moin Moin men! Well, I have a huge problem and a lapalia…. To the huge Prob: My Leggy has been out for 2 months and doesn’t seem to be quite dense…. the water already ran down the windows from the inside. I have clappy seats and some mold on the floor mats… Can I do anything else except always ride with full heating? Is it bad with other possibilities in the weather… dehumidifier or something? The other thing is: It has been standing since April last year, the battery was unloaded for quite a long time. It only starts with a start-up aid. After 30km drive and engine off, I can immediately get the cables out of the trunk. The battery is only a little over a year old. How likely is it that it is scrap metal? Can not drive itself at the moment because the FS was removed. That’s why I first registered it that it is not completely broken and at least every few days In case of cases: Can i recommend a battery? Thought of Bosch or Varta. Mfg

  • Forester SF fender expansion

Hello Subaru-community, I got myself as a second car, if a little more space is needed, now add a Subaru Forester SF. Got the very cheap, only the clutch had to be renewed, but so the car is really top and I love driving with it… ok, the obligatory clock repair was still necessary, but thanks to the error description here in Motor-Talk, and since my girlfriend works in a electronics company the small soldering point was no problem… 🙂 So, now but to my own I don’t know exactly what they call it… but I’m sure you know what I mean 🙂 The problem is now that my dealer said that they are probably no longer available and I didn’t find anything in the www. I might have found something like that from you guys, or I would have thought where to find something like that… the surrounding area. n Autoverwerter have unfortunately also nothing. I would also be glad if someone could give me the original parts numbers. in addition a photo of a Forrester with these extensions. Greeting Roland

  • Status report Turbo conversion – and urgent help sought

Hello people! With my conversion it goes on. So far all oils were exchanged, engine and transmission are again a unit. Timing belt is on again, n newer of course. I also made a new seal for the Downpipe – so fast was not to find any. Now it is that the plan should run the following dimensions: – Pick up trolleys high enough – Gear and motor at the front of the piece, possibly release axle to it – Diff out of the back – And then differently again together. I was lucky to be able to conjure up the hydro coupler from the moary we learned how it works :P. I don’t worry about the mechanics and connections sooo the worries, I can solve that. I get the electrics to break my head. In the Haney Manual there is a running plan of the turbo inside, but if I look at this, my control unit has about 70 pins, and there are only about 50. I can’t imagine that the other cables are only for fun. Then we come to the problem: M In one opinion, the safety boxes of both vehicles are quite similar. The question arises whether they are also INTERN. If so, I would have to separate the lighting wiring harness from the motor wire harness (for the turbo cable trees) and only hang the motor wire harness in it. However, I do not want to make any mistake, and to grill my control unit or so fax. So – Tips away from the front! Running plans – bring it! Or other comments. ch too planless at the moment. Thank you and greetings reno

  • All-wheel is not overpowering!

Today I had a sobering experience with my Allrad Subaru. I went to the Allgäu to take a week’s holiday there. So I looked at the apartment and then started to walk with the dog. A parking lot I already know controlled and targeted location. About 20 cm of snow. I did have Allrad and that should not be a problem, so I thought. Drived about 4 meters to the parking lot and noticed, here I can not get further, so rather straight back out. Ni I got off to shovel the snow behind the wheels with my hands. New attempt and nothing went on. You can guess it’s squeezing clutch and tires. Good advice is now expensive! There’s a young girl holding her lupo and she says she’s pushing me out. But we put a rope on it and she pulled me out with her lupo! All-wheel is not all-powerful! But the clutch smells so strange.

  • Screws motor holder right 1.4TSI CZEA

Good morning together. Can someone write me the part number of the correct screws for the right engine bearing? Would it like to swap and since these are all stretching screws, they must be new… And if someone knows the right tightening moment, I would also be very grateful

  • Error message Emergency or Travel assist

The constant beeping as well as the error message for the error or non-function of the Emergency and the Travel assistant is really annoying. The problem exists for about 2 to 3 weeks, was several times in the washing line to exclude contamination of the sensor/signalling devices.

  • After cooler exchange engine temperature fluctuates and heating only works on “High?

Servus together!I own a Seat Leon 1P with the 1.8TSI from 07/2009.Today I changed the cooler, because it was leaking and had dripped. I ventilated as follows: Run the engine warm, heat on the highest level and with warm engine then the hoses slightly pressed together until the coolant has remained constant and no air bubbles have survived. Now I have the problem, however, that if I drive with the car and the heater on the highest level If I set the heating to a normal temperature of 22 degrees, it goes back to 90 degrees. In addition, the heating of “LO-26 degrees” does not heat (feeling cool air comes out) and only as soon as it stands on high does the extremely warm air come out. Do you know this problem? If air in the system, then it wouldn’t heat extremely on HIGH, would it?

  • Sale with performance increase or without?

Hello to each other, so I have a Seat Leon SC FR 1.8 TSI 6-speed switch and I would like to sell this in the near future because I ordered a Cupra. The vehicle currently has a performance increase by software to 220 hp and I just don’t know now if I should put it away or leave it on it, because the tuning is not registered either. If I remove it I will anyway say that the vehicle had a tuning because I don’t want to have problems late I hope you can help me.

  • Seat Leon FR Facelift electric exterior mirror

Good evening together! I picked up my new Seat Leon FR from the dealer’s office today and found out that when I lock the car, the mirrors don’t open, but only after a longer operation of the locking button on the remote control. Now to my question, is this so right or should the mirrors open even after a short operation of the locking button??
