  • pimp my TRIBECA

Hello together! I have bought a Tribeca on November 6th, and have already gained some experience with the vehicle, maybe one or the other can benefit from it. Of course I am also interested in your opinion as an experienced SUBARU driver. SUBARU is not available with extensive surcharge lists in the set to MB, Audi, VW and Co.. The vehicles are quite complete ex factory. But what is missing then is also not possible with money and good words from the factory. Phone solution. So I ordered the Bluetooth hands-free device immediately, but it is to be installed by the dealer. And this is left by SUBARU in relation to the placement alone. Finally, my dealer installed the control unit next to the switch lever, and for the cable milled a slot into the aperture. That was enough to transform the premium claim of the interior into a craft solution. However, since one wants to compete against Porsche and Audi, finally cost et der TRIBECA just as much as a Cayenne, should something professional come from (I hope someone from SUBARU reads with me here too). Since I don’t want to wait so long, I sunk the operating unit in a milling out and let it cover with leather. Leather color perfectly matching the gear knob and steering wheel. I add two pictures to this, how do you find the solution? OpenAirFan

  • Levorg as an everyday car

Hello, I am currently looking for a replacement for my old A3. And suddenly the Levorg jumped into my eye. I have already seen and read about 15h reviews and test reports. They all say more or less the same. – Rather thirsty, Lineartronic need getting used to etc. What interests me much more is the everyday suitability, there are peculiarities that you can not find out within 8h test time: – What are about the service costs (mostly in the Ver same to other cars, pure € numbers are somewhat geographically different) – Can you push the Levorg through the wash road with a calm conscience, or do you always have to free the charge air cooler from the wax afterwards? – How is the built-in Navi like this? Which countries are supported? Can you update it? What does that cost if necessary? – What do you say to the sound system? Standard ok, or rather upgrade/3rdparty? I am ned demanding but don’t want to guess which song I’m going to like right now. I don’t have to impress anyone at the train station. – I used to step on an internet post, according to which the paint is a bit sensitive… second opinion? – What else do you want to tell me about the car? – Would you buy it again today? If no, what instead? Thank you for your opinions!

  • Beige leather

Hello dear Subaru community, someone has experience with the care and sensitivity of beige leather in the interior at the outback. I would like to order a new outback and am not quite sure with the interior color. I would be happy about a feedback 🙂

  • Snowfun with the Subaru Impreza

Snowfun with the Subaru Impreza – experiences in the border area Hello, Friday evening I had a special experience with a Subaru Impreza 2.0 GX (Bj ca. 1998, 65,000km) I live here near Annaberg-Buchholz, Erzgebirge. Already on Friday afternoon the B95 had to be closed. Only because of an accident, stuck school bus and then because of extreme snow drifts. The winter service then does not follow with rooms and gives up the road. The whole thing was heated by hurricane-like wind. From work home I went along the valleys with my Volvo FWD only on detours. Friday evening I was then invited at a party and as I wanted to have a drink, I let myself drive from my girlfriend’s parents. They have an impreza, see above. Since with me also the Subaru genes are quite dominant I drove to it myself immediately. On our doorstep is already a beautiful mountain with snow-covered Of course, I couldn’t let it stop at the steepest part to see how to get away. Well, without problems and without spinning wheels. Even with snow chains I would have managed with my Volvo only with spinning wheels, the car is also much too heavy… Since we didn’t know if the B95 was free again, we just tried it. And look, the BGS, the otherwise cross-sectioned T4 synchro and blue light cut the streets off. The view was against zero, the left side windows were closed already, towards the front one also saw nothing more, sight maybe 2 meters and that without overlaying). To the front everything was white, one could not see whether the snow was high at the front or not. So I oriented myself to the right side panel. I was not able to see whether the snow was high at the front or not. The mood of the ladies on the back seat became increasingly worse and the call for “turn around” became louder. But I’m sitting in an Impreza 4WD AND I WANT TO KNOW IT NOW!!!! Behind us you can see some light cones of other cars that follow us – but not for long. The situation became increasingly worse. Sometimes the car can’t be steered anymore, but it can’t be steered anymore. I don’t trust myself anymore, because I’m afraid to stay stuck. Sometimes there are snow tracks, which are so high that snow fragments fly over the bonnet (these were the traces of the recovery of a school bus through the THW). So slowly I have doubts whether the road should not have been closed after all. So we drive on, 2nd gear, – yes not stop but through. The car drives half-cross in places, is no longer steerable. , view only to the right side out – but we still drive. After 200m then a snow milling machine comes to us, at least I aim at the milling machine to the right, now also the snow at the front over the car to the right – view for a few meters is really zero now. I try to drive in the track, which has cleared the milling machine, since I see nothing, I can not find it either. After hunting meters I come to the other end of the road barrier, there the BGS has everything ripped away One policeman stopped us, asked what we were doing (he didn’t know that his colleagues hadn’t regressed the road at the other end), another shouted astonished “where did the car come from??” the next day we learned that all the cars that came after us were stuck, which were then pulled out by THW with MAN four-wheel truck again ) Believe me people, that evening I would have signed a purchase contract for a Subaru. Unfortunately it had a Subaru- I have been waiting for a call back for 3 weeks. It’s interesting for an FWD driver to experience what an all-wheeler can do. I’m still surprised that the Impreza isn’t so close. Probably it’s the spoiler, the car is such a special edition in the GT look (except for the missing air hat). For all those who live in the flatland and will never experience such a thing really miss what Ciao, Eric, PS: the federal road is still fully closed, it snows and still blows like hell.

  • justy and switchable 4 x4

hello all on the one hand … a good buddy from me ( so the best threads usually start ….but the topic here is boring for trolls ! ) has once again taken for winter n justy …3 cylinder 75 ps 1200er …..with switchable 4×4 …. model code ….beat-michtot …is also first latte ! I also possibly want to buy as a winter car n justy me …..but previously various questions . his justy with the switchable has no middle diff ….the rear drive train will be quasi “rigid” connected …there is no barrier diff installed …. the thing is a real mountain goat thanks to the low weight … so, he works in a free workshop …..there are also other justys in the announcement …but mostly the successors with permanent all-wheel … so now to the actual .-… why are the all-wheel no more switchable, has the technical, marketing, image or registration grounds ? difference 1 which I noticed up to now … the old justy with Zuscha With all-wheel drive absolutely stiff around the curves … should you actually not make in the dry … the erases like stupid, despite open diff back. however ( and that’s what keeps me off the hook) ….. you can not go on …..button press ..and you always come back ! stuck with permanent hard has overexcited all possibilities ! ( yes, we like to make some off-road smack ! ) here then the old audio saying ” quattro driving means there liegenbl ” second point that speaks for the old one ….:_ the braking attraction on snow and mud ! due to the missing medium diff can let the front with the handbrake block with ! ..dufte thing …. and the braking performance with connected all-wheel is clearly better ( I say to crawl down the slope ) than with the permanent all-wheelers with medium diff … which, however, then also in the “normal ” condition with all-wheel ( because yes ́permanent ) being I see that the old one is better than the old one for piglets! ? opinions, suggestions, experiences .etc…just come here with it and …. the suzuki three-cylinders are the last shit ….even though the third engine he now replaces with bearing damage …all about 90 -100 tkm old …and in the *****thing only about 3 liters of oil ! aua

  • Reset audio element in Levorg

A question to the Tecknixe in the forum: With my Levorg the smartphone ( Motorola XPlay) can not be screwed up i. The hands-free device integrated. Strangely enough, it worked at the beginning but sometimes already. The contacts were taken over, but a connection was not possible. Then I threw everything out again and tried to install again. Then there was nothing more. Installation and pairing worked, but when trying to take over the contacts My dealer tried unsuccessfully to reset the device. Now, in his opinion, only a short battery could help to “null” everything. But a “manual reset” would have to work as well. After that, all transmitter settings would have to be changed, but that wouldn’t be the problem. I just want to have the hands-free device active at last. Does anyone know advice? Gruss JockelMR

  • Are there any more Levorg drivers?

Hello, are there any more Levorg drivers here? I got my last week and am very happy so far. It’s a sport with full equipment and STI package. Actually, the car is thought of as a reasonable second car, but if the stronger engine with Eyesight should be pushed after, I’ll probably exchange a few pictures unreasonably.

  • After mounting the winter tyres I have to go to the workshop

I bought a new Forester. For the first time a car with tyre pressure sensors. After mounting the winter bikes, which have been retrofitted with SEnsors, my car does not know this and shows the corresponding error message. NJch consultation with the dealer was informed me that I ALWAYS have to go to the workshop after assembly of the summer or winter bikes in order to “read” the sensors. The next Subaru workshop is from me 35 km away. SUPER!! Colleagues with VW, Audi vehicles have di e Possibility to do this task via the board system at the push of a button. I am honestly quite angry. Greeting Helmut
