Hello together I come from Switzerland and would like to buy a new car. Now I’m considering adding a Subaru Impreza 2.0i Swiss Sport 2017 (Handswitched). The price is 24t Chf. Now the question: I come from a Mitsubishi Colt 1.3 Bj: 2010 I know that the engine is not exactly the latest and therefore also consumes more fuel. According to Subaru 6.9L according to reports from owners 9L. Now my question, does one of you have experiences about consumption? How does e I have heard that Subaru is not exactly top in terms of insulation? I will travel about 14tkm a year. Among them also a trip of 6 hours at a time. What is your opinion about this? What do you mean by the price? Is around the 24t Chf justified? Hope you can help me.

Subaru Remote Launch?
Hi together, Does or does anyone of you even use a remote start system at a Subaru? For illustration see e.g. there. Is this allowed in DE? Is it retrofittable here? Does anyone know what this would cost at a dealer in DE about? PS:https://parts.subaru.com/…/H001SSG100.html

Which drive variant for train operation on the unpaved slope?
Hello, I need a vehicle with which I can pull up a trailer (zGM 1200kg) with me the garden (racial / meadow). The slope is about 4%. The first 3 m however it is about 20%, followed by a 90° curve. In my opinion a switchable all-wheel (e.g. Suzuki Grand Vitara, i.e.) separates due to the 90° slope, because I do not want to resow the lawn every time. Since the car should be cheap (approx. year 1998-2004) Subaru has fallen into the narrow selection (Forester, Legacy, Outback). Which drive variant is better suited for my project, also in terms of material load (e.g. clutch, transmission, lawn protection)? –> Manual gearbox with reduction –> Automatic gearbox with more horses –> maybe something completely different….. (brand, model) I would be very pleased about helpful tips or reviews. Greetings from other-Nerd P.S. A tractor unfortunately cancels out as I do not have a suitable parking space and the next quarry 15km de If I can only pull up 700kg this would be ok – better than 10x with the wheelbarrow. Whether 8l or 12l/100km is incidental, because from a petrol tank only “good” exhaust gases come anyway.

You want Subaru to put everything on one card?
Subaru’s production capacity is fully exploited, you have a profit margin of incredible 9% and CUVs and SUVs sell like sliced bread. What now? Expand production capacities, develop new models, or continue as before: As a small niche manufacturer?http://www.bloomberg.com/…rowing-carmakers-decide-to-stay-small- Lieb Gruß Oli

Subaru Forester Diesel change due to problems with DPF
For more than 1 year I leased the new Forester Diesel. My annual driving performance is about 35 tkm in mixed operation. The problem is that the PDF – except for regular motorway rides. I was 8-10 times in the workshop to have the filter regenerated there and 1 x the filter was changed already. Usually this regeneration was done by the way without written proof, only over 3 to 4 processes I have something in my hands. The general problem In the case of Subaru, it is not possible to interrupt a process of regeneration (which has to cover a distance of about 15 km). I have contacted the manufacturer’s technical customer service directly on this subject and also the problems on my vehicle. I was very arrogantly met there. Next Thursday the responsible technical area manager comes and wants to check my car. I have already communicated in writing that this is the last Chanc e is to put the car in a state suitable for everyday use. Has someone tips on the further procedure, especially on the topic of change

3 years of legacy experience
2011 was the year of the turn. Never again German premium scrap. I drove in 50 years everything ABC ( Audi, Bmw and MerCedes ) had to offer of gasoline and diesels. In the USA I found out how we get shitty here. Our scrap costs over half, we subsidize the German cars for the Americans. So switch to a Japanese. After I had driven over as a car rental 5 weeks and 14,000 km a Toyota Avalon, I was looking for an alternative here. The offer of a Subaru dealer in Bexbach (the best car representative I’ve ever seen was acceptable for my last Mercedes. So it became a new Legacy limousine 2.0 diesel (switch). From the first day it was a pleasure to move this car. The average consumption over three years and 45,000 km was at real 5.5 L/100 km (display 5.2 L). For a few days now I have been driving, out of consideration of the intervertebral disc incident of my wife (slip clutch), a 2013 Legacy Ko mbi 2.0 petrol with Lineartronic. The pleasure is even bigger, as it is even quieter. To get to the point: I never had a petrol engine with which I could drive 1,000 km with a tank filling. 6,2 l / 100 km is the absolute hammer ! A horny car with an almost inaudible engine … Subari

Subaru XV 2.0i Automatic vs. Opel Mokka
Hello Since my Honda CR-V (1999, automatic, gasoline) has given up after 200’000 km and 15 years (automatic gearbox broken), I should buy a new car. In question the Subraru XV 2.0i petrol engine would come. I like the car, but I still have to test it. I read last article here about the Subaru XV and it seems to be very many people happy here. That would be a positive point. However, the Opel Mokka would also come into question. Its technical property (acceleration, consumption, 4×4, appearance, size, price) are quite similar to the Subaru XV (although I’m quite car-like). Well, someone can say something about why you shouldn’t opt for the Opel? And what about spare parts? Are spare parts for European cars not cheaper in Europe when something breaks, if the warranty is through (what might be said for the Opel or perhaps another European car)? Skodas are still in the Upswing (Skoda Octavia would also be an alternative).

Knocking noise from the engine (piston tipper?)
When my outback is cold, the engine produces knocking noise, which I cannot clearly assign. In idle they are very quickly over (approx. 5sec), but as soon as I put on R or D, you can hear it clearly again. When the engine is warm, the knocking becomes significantly lower. It is then only very easy to hear in idle, as soon as you give some gas you can not make out the noise under the other engine noises. Come on from the left side, cylinder No. 1. No I don’t know if this is a valve setting or a piston tipper. I exclude bearing damage, you would hear it all the time. The engine is otherwise silky soft, has no oil consumption and the power is also right. As far as I have read this in English forums, a piston tipper is by no means unusual at Subaru and no reason to worry, it is simply annoying. Greetings, Zeph
