  • Questions about buying a new Ibiza ST iTech

Dear Seat friends, I intend to buy a new Seat Ibiza ST iTech and have a few more questions about it:SEAT Ibiza Kombi (5 Doors) – i-Tech – ST 1.2 TSI (1.2 l, 105 HP / 77 KW)Special features: – Window lifter rear electric – Side windows from 2nd row of seats and rear window dark tinted – Xenon Light: Bi-Xenon light with curved light, daytime running light and rear lights with LED technology – Ultrasonic parking aid, front and rear – Headrest, third – Radio: DAB Digital Audio Brodcast ing – Comfort storage package – Winter comfort package – Theft warning system with back-up horn – Nevada White Metallic / Metallic Total price (including transfer): ca. 15,900 € (list price approx.22,200 €, without transfer?)Now my questions: 1) Do parking help and theft warning system really make sense? I’m not quite sure, but I promise myself a higher resale value by doing so. 2) Reserve wheel makes rather less sense after my research, right? 3) I had the SE AT4ALL insurance is considered, but would be forced to finance credit and KSB Plus contribution, the latter would cost an additional €1,100 (which would cost SEAT4ALL, i.e. liability + all-inclusive only €25 per month). Or would I drive better with cash payment and an insurance on the free market (I’m liability for 14 and partial cascade for 5)? 4) I definitely get the warranty extension (to 5 years), I’m still unwise about the inspection package. 13 € per month, is that worth it? Thank you for all helpful answers in advance

  • Automatic light range control of the Xenon headlights “wrong around”

Hello together, to problems with the LWR of xenon lamps I found here a few threads, but none with this problem: after the regular inspection of our 6J last week, where among other things the standing light bulbs were changed in front, we noticed last night on the first ride with light that the LWR suddenly spins: basic setting is already clearly too high, when accelerating both headlight cones go further up, when braking down – so Both headlights behave identically and comprehensiblely, so contact problems or defective sensors can be largely excluded. It seems to me that the cables have been swapped by rear and front axle sensors – is that possible? The large 14-pin plug on the headlight (see picture) can’t really be twisted. Do you have a tip that I could look at? Our workshop is a good idea. I would like to save myself the way there, if this could be solved quickly. Thank you very much and many greetings! Holger

  • Saw tooth formation rear tyres

Hello, on my X-Perience I ride the Nokian WR D3 in 225/45 17 as a winter tire and was very satisfied with the tire so far. The wear on the front and rear axle is almost identical. After the rear tyres were mounted in front last autumn, however, there were strong vibrations at higher speeds (140 – 170 km/h) which increased during braking. Then I mounted the tires again at the original position and the problem was fixed at first. At the tyre dealer, the rear tires were then checked and reworked. Tires and rims had no height impact, an additional 10 g weight had to be glued to a tyre. However, according to the tyre dealer, this could not have been the cause of the vibrations. However, I was pointed to starting saw tooth formation. Unfortunately, saw tooth formation and noises are increasing. Now I have the Idea to change the rear tyres between right and left in order not to reinforce the problem even further. The Nokian WR D3 is bound to run directionally, is this nevertheless possible without hesitation or will I then get problems with wetness? The tyres have a 5 mm profile and should last just under 3 months. Next winter there will be fresh winter tyres, which will certainly not be tied to run directionally. I am grateful for helpful tips and suggestions. Greeting Oxebo

  • Leon ST CUPRA 300 4Drive DSG or Skoda Octavia RS?

Moin! Must give my beloved Golf 7 GTI performance because of offspring… Would you like a properly motorized combination and fluctuate between the two so-called models (even since there are good discounts with daily registrations for already around 30k€, as soon model change takes place). Find the Seat optically and from the haptic more beautiful than the Skoda, both of which do not reach my GTI. Are there any other relevant differences that are relevant (classic childhood diseases etc)? Thank you and LG

  • Delivery times of new Leon

So I noticed that there are serious delays with regard to the delivery times of the 184 hp TDI and 180 hp TSI, which is probably also based on technical problems. Originally I was interested in the 184 hp TDI, but I can not wait for such a long delivery time, because I need the vehicle when my previous vehicle is sold. Therefore I think about whether it should be “only” the 150 TDI Leon. Now my question: how does it look with the delivery time for the 150 HP TDI off? How long did you have to wait for it?

  • Upgrade trailer coupling at Seat Leon

Hello Motor-Talk community, first of all: I apologize if this question has been asked in exactly the form more than once, but either I’m thinking of looking for something too stupid or… well, whatever… I bought (used) a Seat Leon model in 2017. I’m thinking about retrofitting a trailer coupling. First of all: is this even possible with the model? If the relevant thing is: it’s the 1.2 TSI, (7583 / AJZ). What’s the best way to do that? rkstatt? Or are there recommended service providers who have also specialized in retrofitting trailer couplings? Can one meet an approximate statement, what could cost such a thing in total? 800 € ? 1200 € ? More? Purpose of the AHK: bicycle holder. I do not want bicycle holder which is only clamped to the tailgate. Therefore the coupling. Thanks already for your help greeting Killerloop666

  • Flappennauspuffanlage suitable for Cupra 290 ST Year of manufacture 2016

Hello, I’ve been thinking about buying a Remus Cat Back for some time now, but then I’ve come across the Flappennauspuffanlagen. Topic on what’s allowed and what’s not allowed at Klappennauspuffanlagenhttps://www.tuningblog.eu/…/ orhttps://generationtuning.de/is-e-a-klappenauspuff-allows-tuev/ ———————————————————————————————————————— For more information: My Cupra 290 ST without Opf may still be the old Klappennauspuffanlagen on it do according to Friedrich Motor Sport. Answer by Friedrich Motor and Sport: thank you for your message. Your vehicle still falls under the old guideline and thus you can install the flap system without hesitation. If the flap is closed, the system is approx. 2db louder than the original system. In the video the system is mounted on original cat. —————————————————————————————————— Now to my questions: Do you find these systems here but worth without DB if the flap is open, does someone have more details here? Reaper flap exhaust system Leon ST 290http://www.dth-turbo.de/…/product_info.php?… JE-Design Duplex flap exhaust system from Kathttps://www.sportauspuff-versand.de/…-cupra-5f-endrohr-rund-esd.html 76mm duplex system with flap control https://www.streetbeastexhaust.de/…euerung-seat-leon-5f-st-cupra I get the right idea that these systems are defini Tiv are louder when flaps are on, than series then ? Since I still drive the model 2016. These should have EC approval. And which would you recommend? Newer models where flaps may not be louder like series does not really make sense any more in contrast to a sports exhaust. Hope to give it all right again. I am very happy about answers.

  • Cupra 300 – Sports indicator freezes a

Hello together, a question to all Cupra 300 owners. Do you also have the problem that the hands of the sports display freeze when you turn off the car and turn on again after a few minutes (or the next day)? The numbers are still changing, but the hands are frozen down. Only when you jump forward to the laptimer and go back again, or zb the reverse turn in, the hands go again. The dealer could reproduce the problem as desired, but has not yet e Solution. Greetings Rob

  • Need urgent help

Hello, I drive a Seat Cordoba 6K, Bj 1998, 55kw and have the following problem So at the beginning (Tuesday) I started the car and it turned very high, which also did not go away. I then drove and he jerked during the driving strong (not continuous) I turned a few round and it did not go away. The next day in the workshop, have put in new spark plugs, set the ignition time, tried another ignition coil (used), spark control, temperature It was a bit better after that but not away. Home and a used distributor were installed and then it was much better, he only jerked when you turned in the 2 course under 2000. The next morning at the start he turned up to 1700 and stayed there, the speed did not fluctuate as on the first day. I started driving 5 km further he jerked again briefly and then was OK. 15km further the car went out at 70 kmh (speed down etc.) after 2 minutes he jumped again and I drove another 5 km until he went out again. This time it took 15 minutes until he jumped again. Passed then still more 2 times and then we put the old distributor back in place and we could drive back home wriggling without it going out. In the evening we have a completely new distributor built in….ruckeln is eig. away, but runs if it gets warm only on three pötten (sounds like a hitch and I believe a A bit of power loss) you go off the gas for a little while then he catches himself again. I’m really stunned and I hope you can help me.

  • Córdoba vario in emergency program?

Moin, I’m calling from Spain where our family is driving a Córdoba vario tdi, Mkb should be Agr or alh. At the moment it happens sometimes on the highway, which he rarely sees that suddenly the performance goes away. He then stops the speed with difficulty and need, then he can’t make more than 120. Does he have a emergency program? If you turn on the engine from time to time, he pulls it off again. Sometimes the fun then starts again. Sometimes he also drives trouble-free. The crate is from 2001 and has “already” 70000km away. It only drives to the beach or to the restaurant. Longer distances almost never. Most of the time of the year it is standing at the airport. I suspect that something is sitting there, but with the hard-to-precedent error does not like to go blind into a workshop. The following questions: Does he have an emergency program? Does he have an error memory? Will there be anything there? What do you suspect is the cause? What could I test? Merci, ne, Gracias!
