Hello, I’m new here in the forum and I’ve become aware of this wonderful page via a search engine and have a couple of questions to my Ibi. Question 1: Since 13.05.2015 I’ve been driving a Seat Ibiza 6J EZ 07/2014, I would like to have it retrofitted with a GRA, now I don’t know if retrofitting is possible, I’ve read in various forums that the retrofitting is dependent on the power supply control unit, where is the power supply in my seat, was just on all fours looking in the footroom, however, did not find it. Does someone know a workshop in Berlin, which does this conversion, or can first of all determine whether a conversion is possible at all? Question 2: If I start my car, handbrake is tightened gear is out, is it easy in the car quite fine usually so 1-2x comparable to the behavior before the car is on the sink when the speed to the inserted gear is not right, what can that be, someone maybe has the G The problem doesn’t always occur, just once in a while. Or is it normal? It’s my first car, I’m not experienced yet. Question 3: The Seat has a Climatronic, 2 weeks ago where it was so hot I didn’t notice any cooling effect, is it outside hot and AC is activated, comes only lukewarm air, is it outside cold, comes cold air, someone had the same problem? Question 4: Parking spaces are in short supply with me, now I have a parking space for my seat received, directly under a tree that is beautiful at juice making itself particularly good on my black seat. Does anyone have experience with it and has tips to do with it? Does a nanosealing of the car bring something ? These were now my questions, I hope you can help me there, am not yet so experienced in the matter of car, therefore the one or other question is perhaps a bit funny .. Many greetings from Berlin Daniel

Ibiza portable media system
Hello I have ordered a new Seat Ibiza Style Viva. Should actually pick him up tomorrow (Tuesday 27.11.2012). Unfortunately the papers come only tomorrow, so I can pick up the car only on Wednesday. Was there today to bring all the documents for the registration (EVB number, ID) Of course I looked at my darling right away on the occasion. During the visit I noticed that he has a completely new radio, the dealer had also washed me on it. and said that it was probably changed in September (day of my order 25.09.2012). At that time I ordered the TomTom navigation device, which has now been changed into the portable media system with Navigon. Now my question, has someone with this system already experience or can call me pages, where I can read? I have already searched pretty much everything and found nothing informative yet. The system probably interacts with the vehicle, more I could at the dealer u It is probably also installed in the less beautiful Mii. For helpful answers I would be very grateful to you. I know, I could also wait until Wednesday until I have the car, but who is already waiting and that with the topic “AUTO” greeting from Dortmund Ibi2013

Gear loses oil (with photos)
Hello guys, My Seat Ibiza 6k, year 97 loses oil. Probably on the gearbox. I took 2 pictures of it, maybe you can see something on it. Unfortunately I don’t know so much, but I don’t want to go to a workshop, if you can still do it yourself. Therefore the question to you, what can the problem be?! At the rear part of the gearbox (red lines picture 2) everything has accumulated. With the Simmerrings everything seemed to be dry (i.e. picture 1), can of course But on the other hand there is a large inner hexagon screw (red circled in picture 2), which was a bit oily… but it was stuck and actually nothing can come from it, can’t it? Where could I still look? With regards to Maccron

Passenger airbag off Ibiza 6K1, huh?
Hello, I have an Ibiza 6K1 Bj 2000 (large display with climate indicator in the center console) and recently a baby. Now I want to turn off the passenger airbag, and the manual says that you should drive to the seat dealer, they can easily… Think…: According to Seat dealer, the passenger airbag has to be removed and a conversion kit must be installed. This must then be reported to Seat-Germany and registered with the TüV, so that in case of an accident the manufacturer as the tailor Is there not the possibility to program out the airbag easily via the diagnostic connection? With VAG-Com or something? Because there is no key switch in the glove compartment…it has to go via OBD according to the manual… dealer says something else.. For help I would be really grateful.

Ibiza 6J1 Idles (cold)
Dear forum, my Ibiza SC (6J1) 1.2 has been jerking in the cold during idle, sometimes very strong. From about 1500 rpm it runs quiet again and in warm condition too. After a defect of the second ignition coil was displayed in the fault memory, all ignition coils and all spark plugs were replaced. The candle of the second cylinder was also really completely over. The fault memory is now empty, but the jerking is still there. This morning he even took after a ku the engine/gas control light went on again for a short time, followed by the tyre pressure and the ESP light. After switching off and starting again, he ran as usual again and the whole drive. The master in the workshop said that he would tap on the crankshaft or camshaft sensor, but could now only switch on suspicion. At Seat I was told that they could only guess and imagine that etw Is there any way that I could support or replace one of the conjectures (without swapping)? So, for example, by simulating certain driving situations? So, can I help finding a problem? Should I have to replace it: Where can I find the crankshaft sensor? Behind the gearbox, so that I can find a solution to the problem. This has to go down? Thank you for your help now

Rims for Seat Ibiza 6L – built in 2008!
Hello, I bought a new Seat Ibiza 6L (not the whole new model) this year. On this Ibiza were standard steel rims with wheel caps on it. These tires have the size 195/55 R15 85V(which means the 85V I would like to know). In my registration certificate part I is under points 15.1 and 15.2(maturation) but only 165/70 R14 81T. What exactly does that mean if it is in the papers? I already have the larger tires from the dealer f. So I would like to know from you which tyres I can drive all in the summer.. can I also drive 205 or even 215er? And how much inches can I have maximum? I would like to get black lowbed rims for the summer (could you recommend your suitable ones?). Now I have the question how to do this best if I want to drive aluminium rims next summer. I need for the winter but still winter tires. My idea was now I drive in the winter to a tyre dealer, let e from the current steel rims put down the summer tires and winter tires on it (here is the question if I should also drive the 195/55 R15 winter tires). And as soon as the sun shines again I wanted to get aluminium rims and put my summer tires on it again from this year. If it is not possible with the winter tires, so that I can not drive 195 winter tires, then I would do it so that I get winter tires on steel rims and then in the summer 205 b Two 215 rims + tires pick up and in spring sell my old summer tires with steel rims. I ask you to inform me about this and help me. I know relatively little about it. If a question seems ridiculous please take it seriously, because I have asked really only serious questions here. So first of all I would like to have explained which tire sizes or rim sizes I can drive in summer and winter at all..! Thank you for your help in advance! MfG L ars! PS: That’s how I like rims. This is not a low-bed rim but it looks good too! I don’t know the price of this rim now, but it will be too much for me. I just want to show which direction my taste goes. I imagine a price between 100-130€ per rim. Maybe one or the other has a dealer he can recommend to me. Best with a huge selection !- Rim picture – KLICK –

Seat IBIZA (6J) ST 1.6 TDI CR, consumption
Hello Seat-Gemeinde! I have a question about the Seat IBIZA ST (6J) 1.6 TDI CR regarding the consumption: the catalogue shows the 90s and 105s TDI with 4.2 l. Normally you can count on a good 10% (or more) to get the real value. At Spritmonitor.de many are 5 l and more. Of course it also depends on the driving profile. Mine is: approx. 30,000 km/year BAB 45% (80-130 km/h, many construction sites) Landstr. 40% City 15% How are your experiences with it? Is there any long-term experience with the engine with regard to error / durability? (> 150 tkm)? Thank you for your advice. Greeting 78thomas

Sean Leon ST Cupra 300 Leasing or purchase
Hello, I am currently thinking of buying or leasing a Leon ST Cupra 300 4-Drive. I have already received an offer for the leasing: 341€/month with a leasing period of 24 months and annual driving performance of 15000km. However, the transfer costs of 890€ are included in the 341€, i.e. these would not be included in the lease. It would be a new car with almost full equipment, but without a Pano roof. Alternatively, the Seat dealer would have a find another one year old demonstration car with 6000km for 3150€ at the moment. This one would have the Pano roof. If the dealer still comes in the price I actually tend to this car. Which offer price would be realistic here in your opinion? I wouldn’t want to drive the car much longer than 2-3 years. What do you think is the better model, lease or buy in this case?

Seat Leon III ST vs Seat Leon III ST Facelift
Hello, I am thinking of buying a Seat Leon III ST (built in 2016-2017). Since the Seat Leon III ST Facelift was also available during this period, I would be interested to know if the Facelift variant has been significantly improved. Generally, I thought that the longer a model is on the market, the more initial childhood diseases are eliminated by the manufacturer. About information about the improvements or possible deterioration of the Seat Leon III ST Facelift as well as about purchases I would be happy to recommend one of the two variants.

Seat Leon 1P BJ 2009 Door lock
Good evening together. I bought a second-hand Seat Leon 1.4TSI BJ 2009 about 3 weeks ago. During the purchase no defects were noticed because of the doors (all could be opened). A red wrench was displayed only in the Tacho display. But it was read out by a workshop on site. First the rear door on the right could not be opened afterwards the passenger door followed and now also the rear left. However, the doors can be opened manually from the inside. because lie, it is highly unlikely that all locks are defective.?
