Hello people Have my Arona now for 10 days. Already on the 2nd day I noticed at 50km/h a howling, high Surren. It sounds like this when starting up and becomes with increasing speed always higher. Not dependent on speed. Under load It is not audible but in the plane with cruise control. At higher speed it disappears rather in the driving noises, but I can now still perceive it at 125km/h. Sounds a bit like if an electric motor was still installed… It already bothers me a little bit, especially because I drove another demonstration car 3 days ago and it sounds the same. Workshop thinks it’s normal. Did your cars do that? I tried to record it, but it’s too quiet…

Leaked driver’s door
Hello We bought us about 2 months ago an almost new (300km) Arona. When we drove the first time through the washing machine fell on me the water pressure. Of course we informed the dealer. First it was called the door had to be re-set but for that one would need an appointment. At the appointment itself it was then the door would be dislocated. As much as you can not set it anymore. I would probably be responsible for the door would be too far open On the door itself there are no scratches / damages to see. Now the question would not have to grip the warranty (reverse load of evidence) The damage would be covered by our comprehensive if we had caused it but to pay a new door without being to blame I do myself hard. Does there perhaps someone experience? With the dealer I am still in contact Thank you for your help.

The appearance deludes: cooling water vs. oil temperature
Some of you will have noticed it already: you just drive around the next corner after the cold start, and the Arona gets warm – but only with regard to the cooling water temperature. I have seen today how long it takes now, i.e. in the summer, until the oil of my 1.5 TSI Evo has a usable temperature. At a maximum of 2,000 rpm it took 15 minutes to get the oil to a limp 50° C. Conclusion: Who thinks you can after the temperature display In the tachometer (analog cockpit) at 50% already heat on the highway and turn up fully, far missing – or in other words: better not. In my attempt today the oil had only after 20 minutes and slowly increased speed to 110 km in the 6th gear, the normal operating temperature of 90-100° C

How are your general experiences with the Facelift Leon 1.5TSI 150PS
Yesterday I ordered a Seat Leon FR ST DSG with many toys but without leather for my wife. I was also offered the normal Leon FR from the showroom also super equipped engine only as a switch, however, with fullheather. Now the agony of the choice Audi A5 Cabrio (somewhat dissatisfied) is kept or just 2 new Leon in front of the door. Below on the pictures are the 2. I would be interested in the satisfaction of the above model DSG like switches, how are the Paints, the leather is good or vulnerable, what there are for serious flaws. Would I be pleased about experience values to facelift….

Roof box Leon ST
Hello together, I’m looking for a big roof box (500l +) with 75kg charge for our Leon. There are numerous suppliers. Prices vary extremely. I get a box for 250€, but I can also pay 800 for it. Do you have experience with the individual price classes? What do they differ from each other? We only need the roof box 2-3 times a year, so no continuous operation. Thank you for your answers.

Gasoline or diesel?
Hello together, I play with the idea to order an Arona style as a second car, but am not conclusive whether petrol or diesel. I drive about 25000 to 27000 km per year and want to lease the car 36 months. The difference with the monthly rate is 23€. According to my calculations, this is taking into account tax, insurance and fuel price almost as wide as possible. I have determined an annual saving of about 250€ for the diesel, which however by higher S Both variants are about the 95 hp version. Due to the higher torque I tend to the diesel. If I see this correctly there is no difference in the service interval, or is this wrong? And the question still arises about the maintenance package. Meaningful or rather too expensive (30 € per month)?

ACC Settings
Hello! Had this WE the pleasure to drive over 1000km highway and thus time to test the possible settings (distance and engine)! For me the most pleasant was distance – very close and motor on sport Thus the vehicle braked most pleasantly and even then again properly accelerated when it was possible

Wet grip of tyres
I have been driving my Arona since last week, on which are the simple 16″ aluminiums with 205/60/16 tires. Manufacturer Giti. Never heard of it, but according to the internet they should not be so bad. Now the roads are wet for the first time and I have the impression that it is not so well ordered with the wet grip. It seemed to me more often as if the car was going away at the back when I drove in a curve over a smoother area, zb where the road was repaired. Has this even j Emand watching? Greetings, Kay

Servo light, ABS light, manual brake light go on..electric falls out
Hello together, have the following problem on my Ibiza 1.4 86hp Bj 2007… it happens to me the 3 lights ( servo, handbrake and ABS) go on and it honks in the car and for a short time the current is lost. It happens most when braking before a crossing or when parking in front of the house. Not always, quite different, sometimes 3 times a week times 3 times a day. Servo then does not go until you turn off the car and then again everything is ok. Sometimes only the ABS and Handbr I installed a new battery because I thought it was due to this one. Can it be just a coincidence, but last week you didn’t hear the blinking of the relay and the error didn’t even show up. Now the clacking is back and the fahler is back too.. Has the relay got a connection with it??? Will any of you help me further… Greetings Raphi

TSI or TDI
Hello, I’m about to order an Ateca. Which engine would you prefer? 1.0 TSI with 110 hp or the 2.0 TDI with 115 hp. The TDI would cost about 2,000 more 🙂 LG Boris
