  • Conditions Seat “Cash Your Ex” bonus? – Dealers push around!?

I have a question about the current Seat “Cash Your Ex” award for the Leon of €3700. How exactly are the conditions? I have asked a few new cars about mobile.de at dealers and each time I have the feeling that they don’t come with the whole truth or push around. In the end they claim that the cash payment premium Cash Your Ex applies only to the list price and because they do not write out their cars at the list price, but already with R abatt, the premium does not apply or some say something like that would already be included. But it is ridiculous that the cars with discounts are advertised by the 15-20%, that exists already without payment premium without problems about the mediators like apl etc….even more. Why should I then also give my car in payment for it? Therefore, I think that there is not brought out with the whole truth. Can someone say something about it or knows the complete Bedin I have of course calculated: xx% (e.g. 24% according to apl) on the list price and then deducted an additional 3700€. Isn’t that correct? But I think it should be like that, otherwise it wouldn’t make any sense to give a car in payment, if you didn’t get away better with it.

  • New Seat Leon ST brought – First steps

Hello all, we got the Seat Leon ST in the configuration as attached. A few considerations/questions – price was probably ok (23k); – do I have to pay for the LTE connection? – built at the end of December 2020, first registration at the end of January (EU vehicle), can I have hopes for the new MIB3 with Android Auto Wireless? – I am an absolute geek about smartphones etc, so I will also look here at firmware updates – which run if I see it right OTA, right? – Tachostand is one-digit, don’t heat your first 1000 kilometers – is that a myth or something? Anything else to consider before we pick up the vehicle tomorrow? 😉 Cheers L

  • Oil consumption

Hello, because our two Arona (1.5 TSI and 1.6 TDI) have been with us for a while now and the diesel is now 4000km before the first inspection I wanted to hear how the oil consumptions are. I replenished the diesel before 1000km at 25000km, after it was just before the lower limit. The 1.5TSI is after about 16000km already at half of the limit. What does this look like for you?

  • Detect early signs of defects during test drive DQ200 DSG transmission

Hello, what do I have to pay attention to during a test drive in order to detect a possible precipitating defect in the DQ200 DSG? What are the early signs of a problem? Thank you very much!

  • Seat Leon Cupra 280 DSG

Hello all, I just sold my loyal first car (Golf VI 122PS Highline). Now I’m standing in front of the step for a new car. The look has been on a Seat Leon Cupra 280 SC DSG for about 2 years. I’ve already tried the car and was really excited. Now I have some questions: Customer Service costs? Known problems? Is the Cupra recommended? Different Media System Plus and Media System? Is the DSG recommended? What do the people who already say the car (Comfort, wear, consumption ..) I would get a cupra for 23,750 € with 30,000km (Media Plus, sound system, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, Navi, seat heating, DAB, light/rain sensor. PDC front and rear) Is that too expensive? I really liked the GTI performance, but it is much more expensive than a cupra with us (92) .. Would I really appreciate your help 🙂

  • Battery key empty again

Hello together This morning I wanted to get into my Seat Leon 2.0 TDI 2017, but the door didn’t open. Since I had to work, I used the spare key. Before I could change the battery of the main key and it now works again. The same thing happened to me quite exactly 6 months ago in a parking garage at night. The towing service had to come because I got into the car, but with the start button the car could not start. Wi e does it look like the battery life for you? In addition, it should be pointed out to the driver in the instrument cluster that he should change the battery soon? With me it was not the case twice. Greetings Lukas

  • Exhaust sound Seat Leon FR 1.4 TSI

Hello together! We would like a new car and have taken the Seat Leon ST FR as our favorite. Have found a day registration in mind with a good equipment for about 25.000€. I have now only a question regarding the exhaust At the R line of VW was only paid attention to the pure optics and out of the tubes comes nothing. Is it the same with the Leon or does it have a sound that fits to the sporty rest of the car? Logically not to compare with the sound of the Cupra but at least Thank you in advance for your answers. V.R.

  • Seat Drive App / Unfavorable driving

Hello together, in the last days the Seat Drive app has installed and allowed to run more often during the ride. When I look at the last route in the app after I finished driving, I see an analysis of my driving method. These include the points Eco, predictive driving, braking, idle and steering. Yesterday I drove e.g. very economical and emotional. On curvy and mountainous track approx. 5,8l/100 KM consumption according to onboard computer. So really very gentle, forward looking and spa rsam. The app rated this ride with 92/100 Eco points, 100/100 forward-looking driving, brakes 54/100, idle 100/100 and 87/100 steering. What amazes me is the 54/100 points when braking. On the map view, the app shows me at which points I lost the points. In some places it shows: “Little efficient braking brake procedure not appropriate” and “Unfavorable driving mode on curvy track”. What exactly this means, and what I have to change about It is also interesting that the app shows a consumption for the distance of 8,48 liters/100 KM (!) but the on-board computer only 5,8 liters. Something is not right. The app is actually only “playing”, and not really helpful for me. I would be interested, however, how the app comes to the points. By the way, if I drive the track with ACC, I am in all points at least 95/100 points, although the ACC not as forward looking as I do, and not so emotionally dealing with the gas. The consumption is then about 6,2-6.5 liters/100KM according to BC. So more points, but also more consumption than when I drive myself. Does anyone understand this??? 🙂 Greeting

  • Multiple total failure of digital displays in Tarraco Cockpit and Mediasystem

Hello, I’m not a Tarraco driver and have now decided for an Ateca, but I have received disturbing messages from my good friend, who has gained a new Tarraco, registration March 2019. The problem is that the entire digital cockpit and the media system fail again and again, including the speed indicators and tachometer etc. The car must now probably go to the workshop for the fourth time. the display module for the cockpit and the complete media system for far more than 4000 euro in front replaced. Nevertheless, the ads go like wildly confused, the screen fails, it flickers like wild or it shows up at inconvenient intervals all possible ads in a crazy change on the display as if a virus spreads on a notebook. The workshop master said at last, he should not connect his iphone with the cable to the full link, this would probably the gan It’s hard to believe. It’s really disturbing for such a new and expensive car. Has something like this already been noticed by other tarracos? Have other owners already had similar experiences and if so, what was done by the workshop? It can’t be that the customers have come to the market as beta testers for a new model. These times should actually be over.

  • Where do you buy your spare parts for the Subaru???

Hello everyone at this point! In this forum I am new and therefore I introduce myself, resp. our Subaru, briefly… We have a Subaru Legacy 2.5 GX III, BJ 12/1999 with meanwhile almost 195000KM. So far we had to have the air compressor for the air suspension replaced as an expensive repair, because actually the solenoid valve of the air suspension was defective, but this with the compressor is a unit. Almost 1000Teurons came to us the fun. Otherwise we can NOT kl Since we are used to other escapads by the VAG company 🙂 At 185000 the cylinder head gasket had to be renewed, as I had to bring my wife into the KH emergency and had ignored the temperature light 🙁 So my mistake and not the bad quality of the Subarus… sets We have the Subaru in the Everthing you need Edition and it is a totally nice car for cruising! With the 2.5 petrol engine and the 4-speed automatic we consume between 8.2 liters and 12 Liter (with caravan on the hook) petrol. The cut is about 9 liters. At the mileage now some wear parts have to be renewed soon. I need 4 x brake pads, possibly also 2 new brake discs in front and after almost 10 years the exhaust end pot is due. Where buys, or does your spare parts get? At the friendly Subaru dealer nearby, or do you have “insider addresses”?
