  • from BMW to Subaru ?!

Hello dear SubaruForummen πŸ˜‰ I’ve been reading along for some time now and I thought I’d open a threat myself… And that’s what it’s all about: at the moment I have an e46 325 coupe (193 ps) and I’ve got an impreza 2.0r (160 ps) in front of me… Why? Because he’s much more suitable for winter/everyday use than my “hinterradler” and I like to try something “new” again (everywhere, boxermotor, 4 doors πŸ˜‰ ) So now to my question you think it’s a very big one πŸ˜‰ he differed or. motorrischer retrogress ? are after all nevertheless 33 ps… but the bmw is also by 100 kg heavier what I know… fact is also both motors want to be turned what I also like Everything in all is the subaru a sharp car what I have read low-maintenance robust apart from the higher spritt consumption where the bmw is also not very economical … Oda you think I should grab the older WRX at all because the newer one is a little too expensive for me… next week I have a test drive at the latest (with the 160 ps model) and wanted to make myself a little smart already in the past Thanks already for the answers xD

  • Which rims fit my Leon?

Hello forum, bought a Leon St last weekend, in black. He stood there on summer bikes. I negotiated that I get new winter tires on the Alus(Winterfest) and the summer rubbers in the trunk are included( Sind Michelin sport, 2 of 2019 with very good profile, 2 of 2017 with almost 6mm profile) Now I need aluminium rims for the summer and the offer kills me. What I don’t want to know, completely black rims. We don’t see any difference to cheap wheel caps or steel rims from a distance. I don’t know what size. 17 or 18 inches. I get a few suggestions here. What are you driving on your black Leons like? Would be very grateful for your advice. Here is a picture of my future and of rims that I like fast.

  • Consumption of summer tyres

Hello all, I have been the owner of a Seat Leon ST (2018) with the 1.4 TGI engine since last week. I picked up the car in Munich with winter tyres (205 and R16) and drove about 400km home on the highway with an average consumption of 3.6kg/100km at 135kmh cruise. On Friday I put on my summer tyres from the old car (225/35/R19) and drove almost 200km highway on the weekend. I expected some extra consumption, but so much??? Still have the original summer tyres from Seat with 225 tyres and 17 inches. Do you think that would consume less, despite the same tire width? Would it be worth buying a 205 summer tire? Maybe a few TGI drivers can tell me your experiences with consumptions with 17 inches of 225 summer tires. Thank you already! I will drive a lot of highways in the future and then I will be able to drive it makes a big difference in the long term whether I consume 3.5kg/100km or almost double.

  • What shock absorbers?

Seat Leon 1.8 TSI FR, Bj2013. I would like to change all shock absorbers with dome bearing. The part number for the rear axle can be easily seen in the photo. This is a bit difficult for the rear axle, but I could decipher it by comparing it in the ETKA.https://nemigaparts.com/en/cat_spares/etka/seat/le/754/411000/ rear axle: 5Q0512011HHH Front axle: 5Q0413031FH If I now enter the divider with e.g. autodoc, then there are 4 manufacturers left and for Sachs this damper is then the Right: https://www.autodoc.de/sachs/14922297 But I don’t want Sachs dampers but Bilstein and below that I can’t find them with the part number. I have to trust the filter from Autodoc. Two dampers from Bilstein are recommended to me: https://www.autodoc.de/bilstein/9129438https://www.autodoc.de/bilstein/13653383 The first one is Multi-Link axle and the second rigid axle. Which one suits my car when you look at the Sachs above with the original part number? Be I don’t understand anything anymore. Actually I ask that because I would like to buy such a mega set of dampers, dome bearings and dust protection on ebay. According to autodoc the dampers do not fit under the link. According to the ebay list already. https://www.ebay.de/itm/403924971805 On the front axle I measured the outer diameter of the damper and that is 55. What do you think? Should I buy this set or not?

  • Rims / tires for winter – please for support

Hello together, I recently bought a Leon ST, which is currently still on summer bikes at the dealer’s. The weather is slowly becoming wintery and I need suitable tyres accordingly. Because of the rideability in winter I tend actually to 17 inch winter complete wheels. However, I lack the experience, which rim/tire combination is best. Could one also take VW complete wheels for Golf 7 and simply exchange hub cap for one of Seat? How are your Erf What tyres or rims are recommended for Leon? I would be very grateful for your advice.

  • Service – is the Leon really that bad?

Hello, I’ve had a current Seat Leon St 1.5 eTSI as a rental car the last few days and I’m a bit shocked how badly the service is done. So I wanted to ask the experts if the Leon is really so bad or I just should have left the BDA for longer. What I noticed was: 1. The radar sensor was probably broken. Well, there’s nothing for the car. But I got the warning “FrontAssist not available” at (un) regular intervals with Bimmelei and display. 1x nac h the start would have been enough. But not after every brake? 2. Disabling the Fa then requires a pressure on the assistance button, but in order to get back to the previous view I have to press View 4 or 5 times. Uh. 3. Temperature higher / lower: is a pure random product. Sometimes it goes immediately, never, sometimes with delay but then several times. 4. Ventilation can only be set by touch in a submenu? Really? Voice control says, climate does not work about voice control. 2022? Seriously? Seat heating didn’t have the car, but it would be just as cumbersome to operate? 5. VZE regularly indicated 30 km/h, probably if it had not recognized anything? On BAB, country road, no matter where. 6. Start/stop you can’t turn off at all? 7. All assistants are back on after engine restart. Gearbox is back on D. The car doesn’t remember my preferred configuration. 8. Navigation via Android car. Sometimes the announcements come out of hand. y, not about the on-board speakers. However, the system recognizes the announcement very well, since the radio is mutating in the meantime. Please tell me that this is not the future in the VW Group. A gigantic step backwards to my old Golf 7.

  • Lane Assist with Adaptive Tracking / Traffic Assistant

Hello all, I want to buy a SEAT LeΓ³n year 12/2019. ST / TGI DSG XCELLENCE with ACC, LED, According to the equipment list, the car has the “Comfort and Driving Pack 2”, the lane stop assistant “Active Lage Assist” as well as the traffic jam assistant. Can the car have the traffic jam assistant at all? Because in the price list of 2019 there is the “driving assistance package II”, which has no traffic jam assistant. The traffic jam assistants are only available in the driving assistance package III, which also includes the ACC t. If no traffic assistant should be present: is the Lane Assist always with adaptive tracking? I don’t get smart from the manual… Thank you for your help!

  • Retrieve / leave LEON 1M

Hello dear people, don’t complain, have tried the search and vll. also missed the one or the other. On the topic: I added a Seat LEON as second car and to the vehicle there were 2 keys. One with radio and a normal without radio. Now I would like to have 2 keys with radio. (like also folding keys) Can I buy 1 or 2 keys with electronics 433mhz and ID48 transponders (SOWAS), let it mill and then learn it myself or must one inevitably to Seat or there. Have a key made??? Don’t like to tear down the original keys and take the electronics and the transponder, thank you in advance.

  • Seat Leon FR with daily registration or as a new EU car? And what special equipment?

Hi! We have looked at several cars, and tested and we have chosen d Seat Leon FR 1.4 ACT DSG 150PS. Extras we have: LED interior light, light and sight, middle armrest (we like to ski), Media System Plus (just because we want FullLink), PDC front and rear, full LED headlights, spare wheel as emergency bike and FullLink. And warranty extension with 2 years, but that costs almost the same everywhere so I took it out. We want the car for about 6 years We have received several offers the best are: 20,850 EUR – EU new car (HVT car) 21,650 EUR – with daily registration (ReStart car) and 24,530 EUR – new dt. car from a car dealership in Berlin. I know that with the EU new car a daily registration abroad is possible. This is not to be seen in Germany (KFZ letter) but this will shorten our warranty with a few months. What I do not know, however, is in how far this with the EU new car the resale value will be affected Theoretically, the car is not built in Germany anyway. But the people will be warsch. afraid of an EU new car, so d price should go down. A daily registration will clearly reduce the resale value. If that is equal or less than 2900 (~difference between Autohaus Berlin and ReStart Auto) then it doesn’t matter. What do you mean? Is it clear that you can’t see in the future (unfortunately) and call an exact amount. And it can be a new scandal at d he VW with Seat this time or what I know can influence the resale value of the Leon. But is your experience? How much should one expect from a resale of an EU new car? And with a car with already 2 holders instead of 1 (day registration). An additional question would be: should we think about further special equipment? Honestly, the full LED didn’t really impress us. But it’s already clear that in 6 years all cars will have at least full LED, some even L or something new. I’ve seen the many like d seat heating. But we don’t find this so interesting. But is it worth the 300EUR winter package anyway so that you can sell the car more easily afterwards? Thank you!

  • Coolant liquid at my SEAT

Hi, unfortunately, I’m more attracted to computers than to cars, so I have very little idea about common problems. I hope therefore that you can help me. 3 years ago I had the message with my Seat Leon (Bj 2014) that I should check the coolant liquid and found that it was below the minimum value. Therefore I wanted to buy a new one and refill each with 1:1 destilated water. At the same time I am on the M13 Mofi At that time, I had been googled after the difference to the G13 which is on the coolant tank of my car. I found nothing and because the value “TL774 J” was the same I used it. After about 6 months “suddenly” my car heating did not work and I went to the workshop. There the heat exchanger was changed and criticized, that probably the cooling liquid would have glued everything. At the latest I was aware that I was afraid Now 3 years later the same message of my car comes back and the coolant is below the minimum value. Now to my question, so I hope I don’t make another mistake: – Can I buy any real G13 coolant and refill it 1:1 with destiled water? – Is it destilated water or can one also take lime-poor water? (have somehow read both) – What did I do wrong the first time? Is it simply because ss M13 is not compatible with G13? Although the color is the same? On the package also with TL774J in brackets G12++ is beside it. My knowledge would also have to be compatible with G13 with G12++? I hope you can help me, many thanks
