Hello, I would urgently need advice regarding my newly installed turbocharger. Since the installation the charging pressure sensor causes problems and black smoke comes out of the oil cover (with running engine). First a few facts: – Get new turbochargers installed (thereby neither cleaning of the pipes nor an oil change was done) – about 4000 km later: sporadic error Charge pressure sensor (the control light is not permanently on; when the error comes loses driving fence g of power) – to eliminate errors: Lines + charge air coolers can be cleaned -> it is found that there is a lot of oil in the charging air tube -> shortly after cleaning vehicle has power again -> after about 500 km again the same error (charge pressure sensor) – if you open the oil cover and let the engine run, black smoke comes out I would first of all be interested whether the black smoke is connected to the newly installed turbocharger or is that independent And what could the black smoke mean? In addition, I would be interested in whether an oil change + cleaning of the pipes is generally required in case of a turbocharger change.

Too fast over brake threshold
In front of the hotel there is a huge parking lot. There were brake sleepers installed during the day some time ago, without which this was announced or indicated with signs. The brake sleepers are black and have the same color as the roadway. When I drove back to the parking lot in the evening, I ran over the almost invisible threshold at about 40 km/h. The bang was huge loud and the windscreen wiper was activated. But I can’t see any damage to the car and it’s also “normal”. Nevertheless, I’m kind of worried that the car might have been damaged. How do you see it? Can I check something myself? Or am I worried about something?

1.0 TSI 110 PS or 1.5 TSI 130 PS?
I’m on my way to order the new Leon (as a hand switch). Is the 1.5 TSI with 130 hp much more splashy than the three-cylinder with 110 hp

Crack in the engine block
We recently decided on a Seat Arona Xcellence package, 1.6l, 95 hp, DSG, built in 6/2019, diesel, 70,800 km. Last Monday he was registered and gladly picked up at the dealer’s. We drove about 50 km home. In the evening I drove again a lap and also a piece on the highway. At the motorway exit then came the disillusionment, started in the lower speed range to Ruckeln and became unpleasantly loud as if he would not burn cleanly. and then came home well and immediately wrote an e-mail to my dealer. Tuesday morning came the call back and one suspects a loose injector (inspection, oil change and TÜV were new!). Car was picked up and a rental car was placed. Wednesday morning came the call, which would probably take longer. The engine block had a crack and it would be ordered a new engine. Since it would be available he would come this week. The installation is probably a bit time-intensive According to ErWin, the Arona has only been moved a few kilometers for almost a year. What do you think of it, the cause can be the long service life or there are problems with the engines in general. Had a Skoda Rapid 1.4 TDI DSG before and it was always very reliable as a 3 cylinder. Greetings from Regensburg wool

Navi and no end
Good morning , In addition to the here already described “problems ” with the Navi I would like to attach here also again the following problem which I can not explain to me .. ( Arona , Built 2022 ) My daily way to work drove over city , BAB , federal road (well developed) Now the federal road is for at least 6 weeks fully closed! In the first week no report of the blocking in the Navi , standard route was proposed . Second week to today , sporadic display of the blocking , tägli A second possible redirection does not come at all via the Navi (more federal road, but even better developed than the standard route ) All systems are paid 🙂 and online is up to date. The “learning function ” of the Navi is activated. What can this be on ? Mfg Mathias

Towing coupling “ball head”
Hello all, could it be that the “ball heads” (I don’t know the compartment expression) have different diameters? The clamping lever of my ATERA bike carrier went on the trailer coupling at our AtECA to clamp down to the stop. At the present ARONA, the clamping handle can only be pressed down half way. The bicycle carrier is sitting properly on the clutch, the safety marking is good to see. Does anyone have an explanation?

Seat Connect after the expiry of the free time “lose”
moin, moin, the other day I got a message that my SEAT Connect subscription to the 25.01.2024 expires. Since I didn’t want to use the service any more anyway, I don’t see any added value for me and my movement-u. I don’t have to squander other data live, that’s no problem for me either. I would like to delete the account immediately and also the main user. But what happens after I have deleted the main user. Then I have to re-use the whole radio again. What benefit would a main user have without a SEAT Connect account? Who has done this and can report it? PS: the “advantages” of the Seat do not interest me, I don’t use the internal navigation either. I only signed up because I thought it was necessary to get a system update. That also worked and so far I used the infotainment auc h no longer had any problems. Thank you!

Voluntarily oil change after 1 year without BC request.
My cars always got oil every year… No matter what the BC or the inspection magazine said. How does the Arona react, if I at ATU after 1 year only the oil change against new 0W20 crossover oil and that to the car not at all, say without Vcd’s entry into the electronic maintenance directory. So simply : Aktol away, new oil and filter on it, finished. (is this possible without Vcd’s intervention at all??) Theoretically, the car BC recognizes yes… “Oh I have new oil… Now I give it another 30,000k m…” Or how or what?… And : How do VW workshops react when they arrive after 30,000Km for inspection, but the first oil change has voluntarily done elsewhere after one year according to factory specifications (FOR the time indicated by the BC)?. Is there any experience?

Leon Cupra 300 technical question
Hello municipality, I am a proud owner of a Cupra 300 with the CJX engine for a short time. In the past days I have looked a little closer in the engine room, because I am very interested in technology. Now I noticed on the air filter box a thin hose, which runs off there. I have not had such a thing at any car that I had so far. I guess this tube takes off some underpressure there or something like that. Is here in the forum maybe someone representing me the sense and the radio From older cars one knows of vacuum connections e.g. from the ignition distributor for the vacuum box at the distributor. But what does this connection to the air filter box have for a function?? Thank you in advance Greetings Bernd
