So friends of the sun, have read a lot of topics for a long time and it is soon time with us, offspring is on and d the Hyundai Getz wants to be replaced. Many cars we have looked at and also test drives, from combi to minivans (Meriva , Golf plus) But we are most likely to agree the golf class. And since we have not yet exceeded the 30 (not misunderstood) we would want to have a car which is something sporty and family-friendly. So the Seat Leon is very interesting. Is the 5F enough for a small family? Enough space for everything? The next question would be the motorization. 1.2 110 hp or 1.4 125 ps? We drive 60% city 20 land and rest highway and mostly quieter. But sometimes also something with steam. Is the extra charge for 1.4er, extra power worth it? And is the 1.2er with 110 too much overgrown and has hardly any reserves? Am not a professional in the matter of cars and engine, but all the statements I have taken up so often

Leon ST Cupra 300 4Drive original Wintercomplete wheel
Hello, I’m about to get a Leon ST Cupra 300 4Drive and I’m looking for a fancy wintering alufelgen. I wanted to buy the original Seat Leon Cupra winter complete wheels Alufelgen bright black 235/35 R19. There are also original winter complete wheels in 18 inch 225/40 R18 in silver, which I don’t like optically on a pirineos grey Leon. I like the original 19 inch really good. But I have to remember that in winter the rims with the tire combination too hard How are your experiences? I looked around in the accessories after 18 inches rims and there are so many not in 7.5×18. In the COC it says that only 7.5×18 are allowed for 18 inches!

Coolant loss
Hey guys, I got a Seat Leon a year ago, but I’ve been having coolant problems since the beginning. I stayed on the highway twice – once because of a defective water pump and once because of a broken hose. The coolant either disappears without seeing anything in the engine compartment, or it collects under the balance tank. I’ve already changed the container. Since my heater doesn’t work (cold, warm, not working). ) and my windows fogged from the inside and left behind a greasy, light film, ChatGPT said that it could be due to the heat exchanger. Does anyone know about it? Thanks in advance!

Coupling does not separate
Hey, I’m in total despair and really don’t know any more. Maybe one of you has an idea. I drive a Seat Leon Cupra 280 from 2014 with 6-speed manual transmission. A month ago I made my clutch new with ZMS, clutch disc, pressure plate and central release. After the assembly it started that the clutch did not separate any more. Everything aired several times and also here no improvement. Air came out but no more. If the engine is off, it can be al If it is on, then no gear goes in or out. The clutch does not separate wisely. So I removed the gearbox again at the beginning of the week and changed the central trigger again. Also no improvement… As a result I changed the vent valve, the hose to the encoder cylinder and the encoder cylinder itself everything to exclude errors there. Also no improvement. There must be something on the clutch package. When the engine is out, the clutch pedal increases a bit of pressure but also not really. But when the engine is on then the pressure in the pedal is completely gone and if you put it pressure, it stays on the ground. If you put the engine back out, the pressure in the pedal is back again. What else could it be? I’ve already dismantled the gearbox three times and got a little crisis. What else could it be? When the clutch is installed, the K is normally installed. upplungsscheibe centered with the pressure plate and then screwed to the ZMS. Then the central trigger to the gearbox and then everything assembled and ventilated. Clutch set is from Sachs with the manufacturer’s number: 3000 990 350 I am at a loss Thanks already for any help

Spare parts question rear lamp
Moin, I hope someone can help me choose my spare part. The rubber seal of my rear light is broken and I am afraid that there will enter liquid and it just looks very ugly. Therefore I would like to order and install a new rear light with the part number 5F0945207E. – At the article https://www.ebay.de/itm/126562337863 stands “Original Seat Leon LED rear light left outside” with the matching part number in the description – At the article https://www.ebay.de/i tm/126022872653 stands VALEO rear light and in the description OE/OEM reference number(s) 5F0945207E The differences between the two are I think that with the rear light of VALEO no incandescent lamps are installed, which would not be so bad, because I could just take those from the other rear light. My question now: Are these two lights externally identical and in original part quality or how does the price difference of 219€ to 90€ come about? from the outside you can see a difference from the left VALEO rear light to the right SEAT original back light. I like to call every little detail that I should pay attention to. I’m really a noob about that. Retread the back light and replace incandescent lamps I can do, but which parts I need exactly sometimes I find difficult.

Squeezing front axle right
Greetings, Since March 2024 I have a squeak at the front right. In February 2025 I was back for inspection, since the reason was called the bearing of the stabilizer, which would cause these sounds. Then I changed the stabilizer bar with bearings, but it continues to squeak. Is the cause perhaps rather the crossbar? If it has strong minus degrees outside, it is extremely loud, and as soon as it gets warmer, you can hear it only quietly. I am slow with my Latin on the End and don’t want to continue to exchange parts that are not. It mainly occurs on bad roads and cobblestones. In August 2023 the chassis, dome bearing and coupling rod was re-established in a workshop. Thank you for your feedback.

Time and again problems with unlocking the power cable on the vehicle side
I always have problems with the charging socket on the side of the vehicle. Normally the KFz unlocks the plug when I open the vehicle. Recently, however, the problems pile up. Charging is finished and I want to pull the plug, which does not work. Most of the time I have to connect everything again, lock the vehicle and then open it again, so that the plug is released. A bit annoying, if you have to try 4-6 x to finally pull the cable out of the can. According to my friend, an entry was stored in the error memory (misfunction at the unlocking). On 10.10.2022 I have appointment for precise diagnosis. I am curious what comes out of it. Vehicle is now 1 year and 3 months old (kilometer 16xxx) and I have warranty.

Winter tires or all weather?
Hello people, the winter is coming near, at least weather-wise, and I am looking for a winter tire for my Tarraco 2.0 TSI 180kw. My Tarraco is leased and goes back in 2.5j. How do you do this with leasing? I had planned to buy cheap winter complete wheels (no Seat Original, 18 inches instead of 19/20) and after a few years to see what you do with it. The workshop, where I used to change bikes with my passat before, however, advised me not to buy them and instead to buy all-weather tyres that would pull them up on the current rims. These would have developed well in recent years and are similarly good. For this reason, I would say that with the offer of about 1000€ the annoying dates for changing and the cost of storing them, which amounts to about 5×100€. I could even sell the summer tires, which are only a few months used. Against this, I would have heard less good from all-weather tyres. The costs for new rims and tires, if it does not amount to the average quality, but maybe more than the average.

Deficient traffic sign identification
Hello, the Seat Leon FR of my girlfriend is year 2014 and has traffic sign recognition. Unfortunately, this works more than inadequately with the Leon. The traffic signs are only displayed very sporadically times. I know this from my Octavia which also has traffic sign recognition just differently. Is there a trick or trick that I have to pay attention to at the Leon? Or is it just the way to the dealer?
