  • Change central locking with car keys

Hello, I’ve had problems with the comfort closing/opening of the windows to me the key and I’ve been told that you can turn it on with the car key yourself, this is now also possible after we’ve tried button sequences and lock sequences. Now, however, the problem is that if I want to unlock my car, only the driver door is opened and the others are not and I always have to press 2x on unlock to unlock everyone. Does anyone know what to do so that all doors are unlocked at the touch of a button? Thanks in advance

  • Connection plan or photo of vacuum hoses

Hello together Are there plans for connecting the vacuum hoses? Or did someone give me a picture of their engine, with the numbering of the respective ends of the respective hose? Would be great. Engine: BMS or 1.4 DTI until 2008 6L I replaced the engine with my Ibi. Now I’m not sure if I connected it correctly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t run 100% correct, sometimes at a speed between 1800 and 2300 short dropouts, thought maybe d avon. The turbo is also defective (when accelerating it whistles), probably after the first start had too little oil in the line. On the picture, which I have from the repair thread of erWin, is unfortunately pictured the wrong solenoid valve. Right is that with the green hook. Hope on your support.

  • Ibiza 6L 1.9TDI 10.2007 Model 08 no engine cover?

We bought an Ibiza 6L Facelift 1.9 TDI with approx. 11000km from about 2 months. Is it right that this model does not have an engine cover??? I have checked with it shortly after the purchase water, oil level etc. has already noticed with that, but I thought that this is probably normal at sea and only a saving measure. We drive otherwise always vw because of the question… I have also by case in the internet a picture of a 6l auc h TDI with a cover seen, but I don’t know the model year. Normal or not?? that the cover is missing???

  • Rim lock – Key not findable – Drilling?

Moin in the round, the new car of my girlfriend loses brake fluid. I wanted to look at the wheel brake cylinder at the rear left, until I found that the key given by the previous owner is not suitable for the fitted rim lock. In the appendix you see a picture. The previous owner does not find the key. Seat sent me away. The manufacturer of the rims does not answer. I am a little asked how I can get the rim. However, I ask myself the following question: How do I get it drilled up without damaging the rim? Does anyone have good tips, so that the rim remains healed? Or maybe even by chance someone knows the manufacturer of the rim lock. Thank you very much in advance Kev

  • Seat Ibiza BJ 4/2023 with beats audio volume can not be regulated

Hello, I have noticed for a long time that in my new SEAT Ibiza FR, Bj 4/2023, FR 150 PS, full equipment with Beats audio the maximum volume is quite modest. Sounds more like a 2×3 Watt suitcase radio than after the advertised Beats audio system. Today I have discovered something interesting. Under the sound control you find the menu item Settings at the bottom left and there there is a controller “Maximum turn-on volume” and see – if you the controller to the maximum of 45 it gets really loud, finally you can hear the Beats audio system. ONLY: as soon as I leave the controller, the maximum volume remains modest again, neither with the rotary wheel left on the steering wheel nor with the +/- buttons on the screen I can change something. The reaction is the same with radio, Android audio (spotify) everywhere. The instruction is silent about it – how can I use this maximum volume now? Cann’t be that I have to be constantly in the menu settings, to enjoy loud music? Is this a feature or a bug or am I simply too stupid to adjust the volume?

  • Maxpeedingrods coilover suspension registration – experiences?

Hey guys, has someone here ever had a Maxpeedingrods coilover suspension registered in his car? I have a manufacturer’s declaration, but no TÜV parts report, and I wonder if the registration is still possible. It’s about the following vehicle: • Brand: SEAT • Model: Ibiza 6L • Year of manufacture: 2004 • Engine: 1.9 TDI, 74 kW (101 hp) • Axle loads: • Front axle: 920 kg • Rear axle: 784 kg If someone has already got the suspension registered or has more detailed information about it, I would be for Does anyone have an examiner or a workshop that knows how to do it?

  • Year-round Seat Ibiza ST Kombi

A Newbie question about all-year tyres. The Seat dealer pointed me to the new Copa models this week. Unfortunately, there are no all-year tyres. The “normal” Ibiza series offers all-year tires as special equipment, but only on steel rims. Does this have a technical or safety reason?

  • Purchase advice SEAT Ibiza ST 1.6 TDI 77KW

Hello! My name is Frank, I am 39 years old and this is my first post here in the forum. We as a family (2 adults, 1 child) want to buy a new car this autumn (new car, day registration or used car up to 20tkm). Our great interest is in a Seat Ibiza ST Viva Style 1.6 TDI 77KW as new car. We would get this one with a few extras for approx. 17,5K€ at the friendly SEAT partner. Currently we drive a Opel Astra Caravan Edition (EZ 07.2001, 84PS , 1.6 8V). Above all, we attach great importance to a very good energy efficiency class (at least B). The vehicle should be economical, durable and reliable. We plan to drive the car for about 10 years. Every year about 15 to 18tkm come together. The Ibiza should become our first car. As a second car a Ford Fiesta MK6 is available. A Seat Ibiza we could already test extensively as a car on Menorca on holiday. I have already studied various test reports: http://www.adac.de/…/Seat_Ibiza_ST_1_6_TDI_Style_DPF.pdfhttp://media.seat.de/flv/seatde/pdf/AuBi11_26060_Permanent test.pdf Also on autohaus24.de I have already configured a comparable model and would achieve here a price advantage of just under €1.5K compared to the offer of the local SEAT partner. I would like to receive from you experience values specifically to this engine/vehicle. How does the engine work in everyday life, the space ratio of the vehicle for a small vehicle reach amilie. What expensive repairs have you already experienced? Links to further test and experience reports? What does it say against buying this model? Thank you for your support in advance. Greetings Frank
