  • 2.0 TSI 190 PS who drives it

    Hello everyone, I’m looking for a successor to my Volvo XC60 D4 (181 HP Diesel) and I found it at Mobile. A very well-equipped Tarraco that I’m going to see this week. He has the 2.0 TSI.   • Problems Full Link / Business Package Infotain

    Hello together, as I hear a lot of music about Spotify, and also 90% use the navigation of Google Maps instead of the built-in Navi of Seat, I use Full Link several times a day. I have the normal business package Infotain and connect my Huawei P20 Pro over Android car. I have several problems that occur over and over again. 1. The Huawei doesn’t connect via Full Link, and does not do it during the whole ride. It then comes the error message “The connection is gone If I unlock my Huawei, it doesn’t connect. If it normally connects, I don’t have to unlock the Huawei. If the car is standing for some time, it will work again. 2. Often it happens that the connection is established, but the screen from the Seat only shows a completely pixelated image. Picture in the appendix. 3. The infotainment system is hanging up more and more frequently lately, then it drives off. 4. The automatic switch from DAB to FM does not work, although the check mark is set in the menu. If I am in a DAB radio hole, the transmitter (WDR2) would have to switch automatically to FM. However, does not make the radio automatically. I first have to switch to FM manually, then I have to receive the transmitter again. I realize that the DAB transmitter also has to send to FM, so that the automatic change of transmitter functions Rt. The WDR also has that in my region. On Friday I was in a large workshop in Cologne, among other things with these problems. I could either perform these problems live, or show screenshots or even videos of them. The workshop master only said “if there are no TPIs to do anything about it, you can do nothing anyway”. I then left this sentence uncommented and said that the defects still exist.     I ordered my 1.5 TSI Excellence with DSG and winter package on 27.12.19. Non-binding delivery date was May 2020. On 05.02.20(!) an e-mail came from the seller that I can pick up the car already now in the Autostadt and I should call a few desired dates. After I did this also directly, I heard nothing from him for a week. On my request, the seller told me that the vehicle had a delivery lock and that every day he was at the Autostadt nach dem Sa Now he told me that there are both VW vehicles and Seat delivery barriers and that he can’t tell me anything else. So I wait for a message every day. Does anyone else have the problem or does anyone know exactly what’s going on?

  • ATTENTION: Secret software update for Ibiza 1.4 16V

    Hello, was just at my seat dealer and wanted to have eigtl. a rattle noise removed. When chatting with the mechanic we then came to talk about power and consumption. I told him that the car with 75 hp is very sluggish and the consumption is also with gentle driving mode 2 liters above factory specification. Then the master asked about the year of the car (02/05) and opened up for me that there was a software update for this model. There are apparently problems with the Zünde nlage (or was it the injection? I’d rather ask again) and then CD ́s were sent with the new software to the dealers! So who has the same problems as me (too high consumption, tough and sluggish drive behaviour) should ask his dealer sometimes. In any case, I find it a great shame that one as customer and owner of the affected model is not informed about it. Finally, also such a popular small car costs “mal even” good 15,000 €

  • 700€ invoice due to false taillight bulb justified?!?!

    Hello together, the following situation: With my brother his Seat Ibiza the rear light bulb was defective. He thought he could change it himself, which he did. Unfortunately he bought the wrong bulb and built it in. Original is brake.- and rear light in one, but he has a simple bulb built in. After that there was of course a mistake, but he did not notice it immediately or thought it came from the bulb. He then drove to the Seat dealer and left the car. Of course he also forgot to tell us that he changed the bulb himself. Now he has picked up the car and has an invoice of 701,11€. I ask for serious comments!!! We are 100% clear that he is to blame himself and that it is not easy for the factory city to find such a “dumb” error. We see all this as teaching money but are there 700€ justified or should one find such a “error” faster? just the 3,59 hours GFS I find very much, the Fe hlerspeicher is read out “relatively” quickly and I think they have also read this out very often, but there are calculated full 3.59 hours… (invoice is added) As said I ask for serious comments!!!     Hi guys, I’ve read something about this somewhere in the forum, but unfortunately I didn’t find the thread any more. I’ve been driving the Tarraco 2.0 TSI 190PS DSG in the Excelent equipment for 2 weeks and I have to say that I’m completely satisfied. I’ve already been busy with the car, but I don’t get smart from the traffic assistant, despite the instructions. I know the requirements to use the traffic assistant and despite activated and working lane keeping assistant and activated ACC he writes to me: ACC is ready to go. The traffic light turns green, the front man drives off and my car does not move a meter from the spot and triggers a Hup concert. Does someone know why this is so or what I’m doing wrong? I already tried it on the highway in the traffic jam. The same thing in green. Distance each time not to annoy people to the minimum and yet nothing happens. Stand still on its own, he doesn’t drive anymore. Thanks already

My father said that this is because I am working on the ignition for too long. I don’t do that. The noise is really loud and you can’t hear it.   • Seat Ibiza (6K) 1.4 60 hp. – Question about the gearbox.

    Hey … I say meal I’m new here and try to do everything right So… I need some advice or help. I’ve had an 18-year-old Ibiza 6K for 2 months. Optics is according to the old – ‘Ok’ Technically the car is in a good to almost very good condition. It was very well maintained etc. But there is 1 crack point or something that bothers me. If I insert the 5 gears, the gearbox crunches BUT… If I take 10 .. 15 seconds to switch and it very slow insertion does not scratch anything – but I felt 20 KMH lost speed 😀 How can I fix it? Bzw is worth another used gearbox? If yes, is it worth a longer one? (If my favorite is not a fan of too short gears) 😀 Thanks already
