  • Seat Arosa BJ.2003 / Oil lamp glows!

Hello dear forum … Thank you for the possibility of exchange here. I have the following problem and I am in despair shortly before. I have a Seat Arosa 1.0 / 127000 km down for about 4 weeks and if I drive longer time (over 30 min.) lights up the oil lamp, red with warning tone . Always for 5 sec. Then it goes out again. When I got the car, I immediately made an oil change. The car had previously 5W30 … I changed to 10 W40. Can the problem be because of it? .. . The oil consumption is currently very heavy … I always have to refill one litre after about 500 km. Is that normal? The car also does not lose any oil … so no stains on the ground … Where is the whole oil going? The workshop now wants to replace the oil pressure sensor , but can also not make sure that it is because! Does anyone have an identical or similar problem …? Can the car eat more oil if the oil pressure meter is defective? I thank you already for every answer and nice love greetings! Nina the following has already been done at the car… – Oil change – V-belts – Ignition coil

  • Mii disintegrates

Hello all, my Mii Mango dissolves after 3.5 years. Engine 3 cylinders, 60 hp. Currently it has the following defects: • air conditioning defective. Maintenance was carried out every year • transmission. reverse gear goes bad. Third gear also • heat plate cracked clatters • window guide passenger side broken. Window wedges up while driving. leaks and driving noise from 100 km/h . • fuel consumption high. 6.7 liters to 100 km. The car has a new car garan until September 2018 Tie. Was already with my dealer. Planned are 2 days workshop. At the window guide he has already announced whether the guarantee will take over. There are people who also had problems with the window guide. So the Ibiza was a top car. The Altea XL 1.6 TDI is now 5 years old. Also to this day no complaints. He has meanwhile 100000 km down. Mfg Volker

  • Changing the joint makes more problems than expected

Moin, yesterday at my Seat Arosa (2003) I removed the carrying joint at the front left and wanted to change it. I oriented myself to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqmsO66FOH4 The Lupo is identical and it looks the same. In the video you can see very well that the mechanic can move the wheel carrier as it needs. However, with me the wheel carrier pushes down after the removal of the carrying joint and I somehow have to push against the shock absorber andrüc ken. The wheel carrier is now so deep that the cuff of the drive shaft lies on the crossbar, this is also not so in the video. Can you give me some advice? After the video I thought that would be done in half an hour, a maximum of an hour. Monday comes the new part, so I wanted to install it. Greeting PS: If necessary I can still take photos.

  • Squeeze or light rattle in the engine compartment

Hey I’ve been having problems with my arona Style 115 hp since last summer. And that’s what he’s doing with the gas and when I stop giving up with gas always a squeaking noise in the engine room. In the workshop they told me that it would be totally normal and it would be part of the car. I notice that it’s getting worse and worse and sometimes it’s already permanent. At the same time, it makes problems with the starter that pulls clearly and very loudly at every cold start. Is there someone here who is doing the same thing? Because I soon despair because I don’t think it’s normal, but I’m always sent home from the workshop. Would look forward to feedback. Maybe I’m not alone. Lg

  • Telephone contact photos

Hello, have no Navi, no digital display, but Android car. It was already a challenge to install the transmitter logos for the radio, but to display the contact photos stored on the smartphone with the favorites of the phone setting exceeds my fortune. That could already my five year old golf without effort. Demand at SEAT-online resulted in the hint, the friendly seat dealer should fix it. From there nothing came from despite demand so far. Does anyone have an idea? Greetings and Thank you very much

  • Problem with Front Assist

Hello, My Arona Excellence has now a little over 1000 km behind it. Today I had two warnings of the Front Assist in the display with a warning tone for about 2 seconds although there was no obstacle in front of me. Between the warnings there were a few minutes. Have you already experienced similar things? These warnings are the precursor to (full) braking if you do not react accordingly…

  • Arona with “real” service booklet ?

Hey Community, wanted to ask the round: did you get a “real” service booklet with the Arona, so where the workshop puts its stamp in or is there only the digital service report here? I only ask because I have to go to the oil service for the first time, but have not found a service booklet with my documents. Thanks for your feedback!

  • Secondhand purchase 1.0 TSI XCellence 02/2018 yes/no?

Hello! If necessary, I would like to buy an Arona 1.0 TSI 115hp with first registration February 2018 and 27tkm mileage. Equipment is very good and has everything that is important to me. (Led headlight) Since he was/is probably one of the “first”, what problems could I (still) expect? The engine should be good (not like previous TSI with control chain problems) ? Should cost 16 grand. Thank you for your assessment! Greetings

  • Eco mode consumption

Hello, today I tested the Eco mode. I didn’t realize any difference in the quick, except that it turns it into freewheel. Then the display for the current consumption only shows “freewheel” and no instant consumption. Is it right that the engine in thrust mode, so not in freewheel mode, does not consume any, but in freewheel mode a small amount of fuel? I see this in another car without Eco mode. What’s left of the “Eco “? Greetings from the cold north

  • TÜV combination DTH with APR

Hello together, I don’t know about the TÜV topic so much…I am very interested in the DTH Reaper V4 for my Cupra 300. The questions I ask myself are whether I get this in combination with APR products? The open intake, Turbo Inlet, LLK, Stage 1 (+ DSG software) and the HJS Downpipe with 200 cells Kat and Sport-OPF are planned. Is everything planned gradually, but I wanted to inform myself in advance.
