  • Price level Golf vs. Leon: Where is the catch?

    Hello, it may be that my wife and I are about to buy a car in the near future and in this context I’m a little bit configuring about a combination of the compact and the lower middle class. I like Leon very much anyway. If I put this as ST in the relation to a golf variant, I ask myself: Where is the catch? The Leon has made himself neat – ok, as far as the interior design is concerned, you can find the golf more beautiful. But w As far as the materials are concerned, the Leon is also very solid. The conformation even exudes much more appeal in Leon than in the Gulf. If I see that the list prices in themselves are already lower in Seat than in VW and then comes to the fact that you get significantly more discount at Seat (to the 30 percent for self-employed), you get to ponder. Of course you don’t get all brand new options for the Seat like the Golf (1.5 TSI, Cupra with the old “R” engine, old DSG). this does not apply to all equipment options and it is possible to configure a Seat Leon ST at the technical level of a VW Golf Variant. The high discounts at Seat are likely to be negative in terms of resale alone. But otherwise: I don’t see any disadvantage when buying a Seat?!?

  • Turbocharger sometimes falls from 1.4 TSI

    Hello, unfortunately I have the following problem. My turbocharger sometimes simply fails, often when I drive about 120 km/h and wants to accelerate in the 6th gear. Suddenly no more power, engine control lamp is missing. After I turn off the ignition and turn it on again everything runs 100%. I once had a friend read out the error memory after it occurred: charging pressure control limit not reached/understepped. At first it happened about every 15000 kilometers but e The turbo is now more common. Even today when the load changes from the 4th to the 2nd gear at full throttle the turbo has once failed. The seat has been chipped since 90000 kilometers. Can the turbo be defective? I can hardly imagine it, because once I really speed through all the gears, it runs perfectly and the error comes rather sporadically and felt then when the engine is really warm. Maybe I also worry too much, but it was only 2 weeks ago in the workshop, chain over Since then I’ve been afraid that that’s something again, because this action was expensive enough.   • Operation MIB3 Infotainment

    I’m kind of friends with the MIB3 infontainment (9.2) in the model year21. On one side it’s big and impressive. On the other side the menu guide is still a bit cumbersome for me at the moment. In navigation there are settings that can only be set up with activated target guide, others you have to set up in the setup menu. Currently I have failed to change the map view to 3D only at the moment. Some settings in the area Setup Auto are probably missing to the previous model or are accommodated in some new category. Man must get used to it. What is still noticeable to me at the moment: – In Bluetooth connection with the mobile phone and the addition of favorites contact images are totally pixelized if probably the source image on the mobile phone has original size. – If you go back in the settings in the menu to come back to 8 of 10 cases always again into the main menu. Some annoying, that you have to click back into the menu once again. – The connection after the engine start is more likely to be used.

Speed limitation small in the upper area of the DC and at the top right of the MM. In case of overtaking prohibition only speed limitation in the DC and MM. See picture 1. Scenario 2: DC in one of the three freely configurable modes with traffic sign detection. Navimode also on the multimedia display. Target guidance is not active. Speed limitation in the “main area” of the DC and at the top right of the MM.   • Remodeling a deceptive light band, replace it?

    Hello, I wanted to ask if someone has dealt with the “light band” between the rear lights, if there are possibly already approaches for an exchange for a real lighting?? My dealer said when ordering my vehicle in February/March that there should already be a replacement bar at Amazon. However, I have not found anything there yet. Maybe there is someone still looking for and knows more about it… would certainly be a nice gimmick for the accessory trade. If it would be permissible at all?!?

But after 2 days it remained constant. I drove the rest of the days only short distances, while the coolant level remained constant! Until today, I drove again a long distance 300km. I checked the coolant level from neugier, it was only slippery under minimum. So I opened the coolant balance tank and still heard a hissing it streamed again (after that it went over the overflow) . The coolant level sank again did not have to fill up any more of the oil again. I didn’t do not have any trouble.
