  • Seat Exeo ST PDC shutdown

    Hello. I’ve been looking for help at google for days and I hope to find them here. I have a Seat Exeo ST Bj. 2012 (already with daytime running light) and have the following problem: I have retrofitted a trailer coupling with a Jaeger electric kit. Everything works without problems except for the PDC shutdown, with the electric kit is a brown/white cable that is needed as I understand for shutting down. In the instruction, however, there is nothing of where I use this attachment. It has to be measured, without PDC it should simply be cut off. So now to my question: Where do I have to connect this cable? I think in the PDC control unit but where can I find this and on which pin do I have to connect this? The service technician from Seat could not help me any more. I hope you can help me (I’m already beginning to despair) and already thanks for your efforts

  • Arona with AHK preparation still unlocking ?

    Hello together. I built in my brand new Arona 1.0 Tsi with factory built-in AHK preparation, a Brink AHK with i.e. Jäger electric kit. That was also not a big problem, only when testing no signal comes from the socket to the trailer. Originally I thought that when preparing from factory, everything is already unlocked. Before I take everything apart now to check the cable, I would like to know if it was due to the missing unlocking Does anyone have experience with it and even have an AHK installed in factory preparation ?

  • AGR valve broken / Update Guilt??

    Hello, my Exeo (2.0 TDI 105 kW, currently approx.90,000 km) currently has the following error codes in the fault memory [after I was made aware of a problem by flashing the pre-glow control light and lights of the engine control light incl. emergency running program]: – Exhaust gas recirculation electric valve => Interruption – Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve => Misfunction – Interruption Now I was informed when visiting a free workshop that the entire AGR valve – for n The “popular” software update was released by me in June 2016. After some research, I also came to the funnel that there could probably be a connection there; various customers complain that problems occur sooner or later (almost self-explanatory) on the exhaust system after the new software was installed. At VW, the AGR valves were partly replaced on a culant basis if a connection with the update was created. What does this look like especially at Seat? What is the official procedure?   • Error messages without effects?

    Hi, I will soon have to bring my new car (approval in mid-August, now 1000 km, 1.0 TSI 116PS) back to the dealer. This will probably make updates of the control units. My main problem is that after a few days the car will not go online in the underground garage (without reception) after the exit, but only after the reboot and engine start. This is reproducible. But what is not reproducible, and that’s what my question is about: In addition, I get to Fe – 2x after starting and a few meters drive “return camera not available” => directly tested, nevertheless works. – Last night for the first time, after the narrow exit from a public underground garage, “Lane Assist not available” with warning tone and yellow triangle.     Hello, my father bought an Arona (about 3 years old). He has the beautiful digital cockpit and then a somewhat large main screen.   • Arona 1.0 TSi with VDU in the mountains

    moin, moin, am currently on the road in Berchtesgadener Land and had an unpleasant situation yesterday. On a climb of 17% I had to stop, occupied with 4 people, climate and luggage, because of traffic. The start then pushed the sweat on my forehead. The car hardly wanted to get off the spot and more gas also did not help well. The DSG is apparently not designed to master this extreme situation or I do something wrong… If there were better to give little gas and I didn’t have the problem in Berlin’s Bergland yet 😉

  • Central locking is not via radio and key

    Moin people, I have a problem with the ZV of my father’s Leon. the SuFu via Google has unfortunately not published anything suitable. to the problem: ZV does not work via radio and also not via keys. inside in the car at the door already. So nothing can be done by radio, via keys can lock when all doors are open, the key only opens the respective lock where you turn. If everything is closed and you turn at the door lock only the driver door opens. The car battery has been changed, according to my father also good because the car starts immediately. Backups also OK. Unfortunately, the new programming of the key did not succeed, but think that it is not because it is not possible manually with the key. Microswitches should also be all OK because all door lights work, all doors have opened separately. What could it be on? What can I check? thank you already in advance. Greetings

  • Seat comfort in the Arona

    Hello to the round! I have been driving an Arona 1.6 TDI since 2018 and am very satisfied with it even after 90,000 km. However, I have been suffering serious back problems recently after a long drive. As a first measure, however, I bought a seat wedge and put it on the driver’s seat. The problems have improved since then, but the side stop on the seat is lost.
