Hello, I’m new here in the forum and need urgent help with a problem. I drive a Seat Toledo 1M2 Year of construction 09.99 1.8 liters 20V 125hp 158,000 km Automatic Two weeks after starting the engine, the fuel gauge and the engine temperature indicator suddenly stopped working in the instrument cluster (both analog), everything else continued to work light, speedometer, tachometer, odometer everything works digitally as well as analog, only these two instruments Now I was in a tacho workshop and the electronics technician found a dirty conductor track on the board after taking apart the instrument cluster. I had hoped that a one-time occurrence would be due to material fatigue or similar. I bought a replacement instrument cluster at ebay for 35 € built it in (battery clamped off) when I started the ignition is immediately a little smeared in the AI inside so I assume again a L The fuses of the instrument cluster are both healthy (2 x 5A) and also all other fuses in the fuse box next to the steering wheel are healthy (I have each individually controlled) and the fuses on the battery are healthy. A few weeks before these problems some parts were renewed on the car e.g. petrol filter, interior filter spark plugs, rear axle bearing, St. abilizer rubbers, engine oil change, track set, but actually nothing electronic. And even after the work was finished, there were no problems for a few weeks. How can it be that such a circuit in the AI simply smears? So is there a short circuit somewhere? And why don’t the fuses of the AI hit? They are actually there to interrupt the current when there is a short circuit. Has anyone ever had to deal with such a problem? Bin w thank you for any help! Where do I have to start looking?

Air conditioning, can Leon really do that?
Hello guys last time I talked to a Seat Leon driver about the air conditioning. He meant that his Leon could do that and I didn’t really believe it. And that’s after driving, shutting down the engine, letting the air conditioning system run and the air conditioning continues to cool the vehicle. I know it from expensive Mercedes and the like that even after the engine is switched off the air conditioning can still cool down. But can a current Leon (built year of any kind) where in the last three years) that too? Unfortunately I don’t know the exact model. Today it is no longer usual to make the designation back on it. I only know that he can be a maximum of three years old and I suspect a TFSI (if he is called that)

Support for offers and where/how to buy the best
Hello dear Seat fans, I plan to purchase the Seat Leon with the style equipment. This is in the list for 21,240€. The windows should still be tinted. Return sensors, Navi, multi steering wheel + media center. At the “dealer of my trust” I received an offer for 19,400€ plus overpass, KSB contribution and registration, makes 21,194€. A buddy says that this is not really a lot of discount for a new car purchase. Now I am unsure?! And has someone ever a car running on the Internet? They are significantly cheaper but I’m not sure… help! LG Monique

Buying advice Seat Leon FR 150 PS 2.0 TDI
Hi guys, I need some help with my decision. I was yesterday a Seat Leon FR 150 hp diesel test run. The details are: 2.0 150 hp diesel engine, BJ 03/2013, 75,000 kilometers running, cruise control, sports suspension to select(adaptive) Iso Fix, multifunction steering wheel, curves and daytime running lights, climate. Defects are: brakes have to be renewed: linings + discs in the back as well as in the front, the hood has 1 stone stroke that you can not see directly, the interior lining from the trunk has a Then I called a Ford car dealer (we know the dealer well) and he said that he had exactly the same Leons on the yard and everyone broke a cylinder head gasket at 130,000 KM. Is there anything there or was it just that I should not buy Leon? To the dealer of the FR, price is for the box 14885, as I then explained the defects, he said 14400 as he stands, Tüv he had new, but I had to stop the brakes and the front tyres. I said for 14000 I’ll get him with but he didn’t want that. I’ll call again on Monday and ask again if he doesn’t come to meet me I won’t take the car, or what do you think about it ?http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?…

Hood very hot?
Hi people, sorry, many questions about the new car purchase. I drove yesterday in the late afternoon with my Arona 1.0 85 KW (new car) a short distance (8 km) through Munich. Middle ring, professional traffic, time and again stop & go, then parked in the parking garage again briefly and found that the bonnet really feels VERY hot. Fans also ran neatly after. Then drove back a few hours later, this time, except on some traffic lights, free distance (max. 60 allowed), and at home In the underground garage the bonnet was just lukewarm (!) (fans were still running after – does it make it somehow constantly after parking). How does this happen? Does the driving wind really play such an important role in cooling, even in the “slow” city traffic? What is it like with your cars? Outside temperature was 20 degrees, what is it like only in summer at 35? I check the indications again and again while driving, oil temerature is usually around 94 degrees for longer distances, cooling water always stands at 90. Thanks for answers & Best regards Sushirunner

High-frequency “fieping” after unlocking?
Hi guys, a question about my brand new Arona Style Edition with 116 hp: When I unlock the car in the underground garage by central locking, a high-frequency fieping starts in the front of the engine compartment. Always for a few seconds, then pause again. If it’s audible right now, however, it’s not consistently fieping, but sounds like someone is “mortizing” very quickly, i.e. it always interrupts unrhythmically. It goes towards coils as it is from power supplies or computers ke nnt, or even noise from computer boxes. You can only hear it in the quiet underground car park. I also have pretty good ears and hear any sound very well. I know that most cars whistle high-frequency for a while after opening or closing in some form, but am irritated that it sounds so “stitched” with me. Any ideas? Or just ignore? Many greetings Sushirunner

Leon or Astra
Hello, I hope for great tips and advice. I’m going to sell my Golf 6 and want to be able to do something new. The A3 limousine, which I like super, blows my frame in my equipment, because I want to pay for the bar and not finance it. So now on the actual topic. I find both cars totally great both the Astra and the Leon. Now I ask in the round, which of you had the same decision is also driving both cars? As equipment have I can see the Seat as it is in the appendix. In the question whether diesel or not I’m not quite sure yet. The TSI engines, especially the 150Ps, I don’t think so bad either. I’m happy about your answers.

V Max stability Cupra 5D 290
Happy Christmas dear community. On Saturday I made my Cupra run after 2500km on the A7 direction Hamburg. The car has the Eibach pro kit(incl. axle measurement),Conti TS850P winter tires up to 270km/h on original 19 inch Cupra rims installed. As everyone knows, the car with DSG in the 6th course at 6100 rpm to Tacho 272. It also reaches the Tacho 260 quite fast,if you can drive the 5th course to approx. 236 in Cupra mode manually. The car pulls saub He has a track and until about 255 there is no feeling of insecurity. However, I felt a very easy hopping of the front axle, as I mean. That became more and more with increasing speed. Not threatening but to feel! Do you have an idea what that can be? Look forward to your information! By the way, after now 2800 km in the Cupra I still do not mourn my M3 F80!
