  • Seat Cordoba Unround engine run,Qualmt black from the exhaust and KAT glows after a few kilomets

    Hello dear Motor-Talk members, have a bigger problem now…… My Seat Cordoba Bj. 98 MKB ALM 75PS can be very difficult to start and only with gas. When it is on, it stutters like wild, runs rough and takes only heavy gas. Spark plugs are all black…. the exhaust gases likewise. Quite large spot if it remains on. The idle rotations are at approx. 1100-1200 rpm. Very strange smells perceived–how lazy eggs… spark plugs of the 3rd and 4th cylinder corroded. Unfortunately, I have to cross-change. But since tomorrow I need the vehicle (seasonal vehicle is now in the garage) I drove with me earlier…. More bad than right… When I arrived home, I looked under the car and have seen the GLÜHENDEN KAT, which may cause me a little bit of help. I also came to it because it smelled so funny after lazy eggs. Now I don’t know where I should start.

  • Rotate crackers without tearing down floor bolts

    Hello, [my Fzg: Ibiza 6k,1,4l Mpi, 44 kW/60 hp, engine identification letters AKV, year of construction 98/Model year 99, mileage 240Tkm+] The following problem: My cracker is torn and also leaks to the crusher seal. Welding etc. is not a question for me -> it should be a new one (already ordered). I have already talked to a few colleagues (and it has already been experienced several times) that at Ibiza 6K/Polo 6N (same motors) like to tear off the standing bolts. And I didn’t really like to drill bolts out of the cylinder head My question: Does someone have a tip like to rip off the nuts without the bolts? So what I’ve heard so far was: free threads of rust (wire brush), rust releaser, warm motor drive and then solve nuts, brake fluid always again on’s thread (s supposed to pull in) Would be grateful for every serious tip.

  • Experience with 1.0 TGI

    Hello municipality, my wife is interested in an Arona 1.0 TGI FR with 90 hp. She is currently driving a Touran 1T1 with the 1.4 TSI machine with 140 hp. Now she has to remember, of course, that the 90 hp is not enough for her. Can any of you share his experiences and impressions with the gas-powered engine? Are 90 gas-hp comparable to 90 petrol-hp?   • Daily kilometers, time us display display changes or goes to zero

    With my Arona FR 1.5 /150 hp year of construction 3/2020 the error has occurred twice. Day kilometers and time is zero when starting, the disply indicator is also changed. The time has to be set again by hand. Has someone already had the error and what did you do then?

    Hello together, after the delivery of the vehicle to the dealer of SEAT would interest me what I can expect. For me this is the first new car and I am very excited.   • Change of front fog lamps with LED headlights Equipment

    I would like to replace my fogbulbs with lighter Osram Night Breaker and my Arona has the LED headlights equipment, nevertheless normal H3 fogbulbs are installed. But maybe the design therefore deviates from the operating instructions. On Figure 57 there is talk of a notch to insert a screwdriver, but this notch is not available with my Arona (BJ 12/19). Or is this possibly related to the sensor of the distance warning device? I would be pleased about hints. LG

  • Arona 1.5 FR 150ps no longer available

    Somehow the Arona 1.5 FR 150 hp can no longer be ordered and configured. My parents also have interest. In the engine overview it is no longer listed. However, my ordered Arona should be produced after the factory holidays and as a new model year with 1.5 engine. How can this be, if the engine was taken out of the program?

  • 1.2TDI flashes from and to the glowing turntable

    Moin, my friend’s 2011 Ibiza test for surgery on the table. 1.2 TDI, motor CFW, 290,000 km. He started to blink at the glower three weeks ago. It was then read out at her home in Holland with a Delphi device, which the Montööör did not know exactly. A sensor was replaced 2x (in the charging pressure tube at the front of the water cooler, sensor for intake air). That showed no success. Sporadically it flashed again. She then decided to make herself on the way to me. Furthermore she noticed that the planer from time to time in the lower aisles jerked like a petroler with dropouts. Here I arrived with my man Megamacs 42 SE read out and determined that they replaced the wrong sensor. First she wanted to know the diesel filter checked and then we replaced it with flight out of safety (was from 2014). My tester says precise: 15985 charging pressure sensor A: signal too low. Have expanded the, totally digested with Ruß (which is not a good thing for me).

  • Seat Ibiza, fogged headlights

    Hi guys, a week ago I bought a Seat Ibiza 1.4l 100 HP, EZ. March 2006 Really horny car especially the color Avila blue. But there is unfortunately a problem. Having bought the car new, is an EU car and now has 130 KM. Was today at my VW dealer because of how I experienced well-known problem with the headlights. Are both from inside fogged and Seat refuses to take over at the moment in the guarantee. They offered me to take pictures and send this to Seat and wait. Some wait since November for answer. Do you have a tip or idea about what there is for possibilities there. Look visually really modest out and will not be so healthy for the long term. P.S. Does it matter if you just fill Super instead of Super Plus.
