Hi dear community, I have now read various threads for the Navi update but I am not going to be able to figure out how the exact procedure is. A point by point listing would certainly help. I added a few photos in the attachment, map material is, as it looks like, from 2017. What I also noticed, I have 2 SD Slots in the glove compartment but only on SD Slot 2 is a memory card. Does this have a reason ? Would you like to look at the photos, maybe you can help me. Maybe an update is only possible with me at the dealer? because I don’t know if I have Mapcare, because I bought the car only in September 23.

False statements when buying a car
Hello all, I bought a car at Autohaus X not even 2 months ago. Has Ez 08/20 and at the time about 25,600 km on it? Did the seller ask extra about the tires and brakes, he said everything was still top. Brakes would have probably still 60-70%. Tires would be also good, from KW 18 from 21. Was the days in the workshop at the same car house but in another store. Tires are totally unevenly run off on the inside, you could only see so properly on the lifting stage, therefore he starts to vibrate correctly from 100km/h in the interior. When stepping hard into the brake it squeals very loudly, according to the service consultant, because metal sands on metal what should not be, leftover coverings would probably only be for max 2000-3000km. So according to him disks and dumps were due in front. Statement of him: So a joke is not yet happening within 2 months. I am really speechless and I don’t know what to do. In 3 weeks I have an appointment where I bought it. So expensively I have to keep the tires, so I have to keep quiet.

Seat 1P Year of construction 2005 no longer starts – broken cable discovered
Hello, I drive a Seat Leon 1P, built in 2005 with 102 hp. Unfortunately I have a problem at the moment: the old lady no longer starts. When I checked the engine compartment, I noticed a broken cable that looks like a ignition cable at first glance. Now I ask myself: Can it be because the car doesn’t start? And if so, how difficult is it to replace the cable itself? Do I need special tools for this or should I rather go directly to the workshop? Thank you in advance for your help!

Purchase advice Leon ST 2.0 TDI
Hello, I’m looking for a Leon ST FL with at least 150 hp and preferably FR and automatic. Since I drive 10-15tkm per year, a diesel is considered. In addition, I also appreciate that a diesel will last longer. Or am I wrong? Are there big differences between the 150 and 184 hp versions (carriage, transmission, etc)? Is the engine the same and the difference exists only in the engine control? This could possibly be changed by chip tuning or is the thought too simple? I’ve already read a lot negative about the automatic transmission in Leon but don’t know which one is installed here. Is this recommended in the 2.0 TDI?

Decision support Winter tires Arona FR (XL, Speedindex)
Hello together, as we all know, it’s slowly coming back to the winter tyre season, and for this reason I am currently looking for suitable winter complete wheels for the Arona FR 1.5, which my mother has been driving since June of this year. As summer wheels the car has the serial 18 inch on it, with which it is quite tight on the road. The winter rims are to become 17 inch, model Dezent TZ in 6.5J x 17 ET48. As tyres the Vredestein Wintrac Pro in 205/55 R17 95V XL seems very attractive to me, because consistently good test reports, rim protection and fair price. However, the high load and speed index is a bit worrying me, because the car should not get even harder. Alternatively, I have chosen the Continental TS850P with 91H, but this is more expensive, older and has no rim protection. Do you possibly have any other tyre recommendations for the car, and how much does a too high load/speed index affect the ride comfort? Have unfortunately no experiences and will not be smart from older posts!

Accessories /Winter tyres
Hello to all, Also with me it’s soon time. Since I have been looking for winter tyres and rims here, but not really found what, I thought I would open a thread to it. Since I don’t have mine yet, it would be great if someone could tell me which tires fit on a 17 inch Arona?? Somehow there is always something else on Google. Vlt has someone already organized some? Also accessories is always interesting. Either way, I’m happy to exchange ideas with you. LG

Interior lighting rear for Seat Arona – Self-construction
For the Arona, as for the polo class at all, there is no lighting in the fund. Completely impractical with children. Since simple solutions with LED failed due to the coating of the roof sky, I will install an Audi light in the roof sky and supply it via the front lighting unit. Infos if this can work I got in the engine talk Audiforum once and you can find it in the attached link below. Has one of you ever done this and experience how to switch it on at the front of the lighting unit? Greetings Fhttps://www.motor-talk.de/…/…-central-switched-t6974297.html?…

Display in MFA, What do the symbols mean
Today I had my car (Seat Cupra) in the workshop and got a Seat Arona as a rental vehicle. After starting the engine the MFA showed for a short time down to the right three characters. What are the meanings? Manual I no longer have, since car left again. Ok, could probably load me the manual from Seat and browse around and look for what the symbols mean. Maybe you forgive me the question (without RTFM ) and my curiosity is quieted what the three symbols mean. 🙂
