Hello. I’m looking for a new car and wanted to configure an Ibiza ST. But it’s no longer available. Does the now Seat no longer produce any so to speak completely set or what can be explained? On the website of Seat he is still advertised… Many say hello to Jörg

Decision-making aid for motorization
Hello dear Seat friends, now that I have been one of the quiet readers in this forum for a long time and have already picked up numerous tips, I have to bother you with my situation My previous loyal companion, a 10 years and 155,000 km old VW Golf 5, which is “powered” by a 75 hp gasoline engine, is to be replaced by a Seat Leon (whether ST or not is yet fixed). The latter become with my gulf, which has the felt acceleration of a truck so slowly to a agony, which also consumes a huge amount of oil and fuel – something new has to come! To my way of driving: I am not a “raiser” – goes of course not even starting with my car But also with faster rental cars I commute at a cruising speed (not average speed) 150 to max. 160 km/h, because everything about it will be too exhausting in the long term. Who has kept it up to this point, can perhaps also help me with my actual question, namely which motorization is best suited for it. The following engines are possible for me: – 1.2 TSI Start&Stop 81 kW (110 hp) – 1.4 TSI Start&Stop 92 kW (125 hp) – 1.4 TSI ACT Start&Stop 110 kW (150 hp) – Price may be a little too high, if, however, he is fuel-sparpotentia l has and in the end promises much more driving pleasure, could this money be well invested there his rich 110 hp to be able to drive on the highway at this speed relaxed and remains the consumption even in the acceptable range? Is the 1.4 TSI ACT at the speed of the AUtobahn significantly more economical and pleasant to drive? I am really grateful about your experiences and advice – I can not take a test ride so quickly! It would bring me a bit closer to my dream car again – I have configured it for the 50th time in total.

Display in the Front Assist display
in the last few days I suddenly had these ads during the ride, which never occurred before. See photos “Front Assist” is shown when I then press any button on the right side of the steering wheel or the rotary roller, “please press the main switch” continues to happen, until I then turn off the engine and restart, then everything is back to normal. Is this possibly due to any settings in the vehicle menu ? I drove to the SEAT workshop, there was the My question is now whether I should leave it at that. Because if there is any defect (e.g. in the on-board computer) I would have liked to clarify this before the warranty extension expires. In the menu system “no entries” are shown.

VDU sailing in normal mode
Moin, Moin, is it actually normal for the DSG to sail constantly even in normal mode? I thought that would be intended for ECO mode. The sense doesn’t open up anyway. If I’m in thrust mode I have a current consumption of 0.0 liters, when sailing just under 1 liters. What should be more economical should someone explain to me…

Windshield torn
Hello, yesterday, on the way home I suddenly noticed a crack in the winshield. The crack began from an earlier repaired stonefall and runs down across, in the dark part of the windshield, over the whole area. Before, when parking, the sun shone on the car and also directly on the windshield. During the ride I had of course switched on the air conditioner to cool the heated interior. Probably the high temperature differences of the Aus has anyone experienced something similar? If I have the windscreen replaced with e.g. “C..glas” and not in a “SEAT-contract workshop” this has an influence on the vehicle guarantee? Happy Easter Geo K

Seat Leon ST Cupra 280 DSG Klappert and poltert after only 13000 km
Do you have similar problems in the 1st and 2nd gears of the DSG? I was at the friendly and after the second attempt to eliminate it it was said that it was “state of the art”. Now I should accept it. Absolute impudence in a vehicle costs 43000 Euro. What experiences do you have? How can I proceed? Don’t accept this lack. I found the following court judgment:http://www.anwalt.de/…eusche-am-pkw-mit-dsg-gerebriebe_066890.html LG Jacuzz

Seat Leon ST Cupra DSG or manual circuit where to find reliable values
I’m about to buy a Seat Leons Cupra ST with 265 hp, but I’m not sure yet with which circuit. I’ve tested a DSG Cupra but I can’t find a switch. If you find detailed information about the driving performance between DSG and switch somewhere in the network. I’d be particularly interested in the sprint from 0 to 100 and also the typical speed increase on the motorway to speed up a little bit later. By that I mean the range 120 – 200. any info on the net? At the DSG, the Cupra only calls its fastest acceleration in Cupra mode or is this independent of the chosen mode.

Exhaust gas control lights
Yesterday evening, the exhaust control light suddenly went on while driving.Have the fault memory read out.Lambdaprobe 1 current error.Error was deleted and did not come back so far.Kfzler said it was advisable to change the lambdaprobe. But he was not sure if it was really due to the probe itself. At least the cables are not eaten.I should wait for the error to come back. What do you think?
