  • replace the soot filter with a tube?????

I have constantly protested with the ruspartickel filter even if I drive a lot and long distances!!! my dealer said, come here that I drive almost only mountain roads!! and if I would drive the same kilometers on the autobahn I would not have this broblehme! but I didn’t understand why I should buy all-wheeler because of the particle filter, which is for more extreme terrain or???!!!! on all cases I want to f if I can just knock out the particle filter net and instead install a tube instead???? the probes I just plug out and in the car flash then a par lamps on!! but can actually not go any more wrong then or???? of course if then I have to install the particle filter again!! can someone tell me if that is possible???

  • Oil control lights up after 4400km with new Leggy Boxer Diesel – normal?

Hello forum! My wife and I are still very fresh when it comes to Subaru. My wife recently got a new Legacy 2.0D sport with the Boxer Diesel. After we now about 3000km really very gentle driving with max 3000 revolutions, she was now on the way to a fair the last days and has torn off 2x approx. 850 km BAB. She mostly drove in the range around 150-160km/h. On the return trip also a few kilometers a little faster. Then came the big Schr eck: suddenly the oil control lamp lights up and it immediately ran to Subaru (happily happened in the home town). Here they have told us that such an oil consumption is completely normal and you should finally check regularly. So I raise and care my vehicles actually quite well – as you do with work equipment – they should and must work. Without wanting to start a discussion about brands and engine concepts now: Our previous Vectra C Diesel and Mondeo MK4 Diesel didn’t get a drop of oil between the prescribed intervals and didn’t need it either. At the Vectra it was 50,000km. So is it really normal that the Boxer Diesel burns so much oil at a normal motorway speed for me that the controls light up? Look forward to your experiences and answers. Greetings!

  • Purchase advice / Tips Legacy 3.0 R

Hello together, now that I’ve been on a promising forest for a while, this has unfortunately been done due to the rather vicious and absolutely uncooperative dealer 🙁 I’ve been looking further and just found this one:http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=236385355&asrc=st what do you mean? of course, in terms of consumption, significantly worse, but I don’t drive that much anyway… have the PS and the 3 liters an enormous influence on the insurance, or is the one with the l egacy anyway cheap (remember the old one of my mother, there was that kind of gift…) ? equipment would be great. what do I have to observe? what do you think? is the price not even too cheap ? or does the really sooo consume much that no one wants…? the pictures don’t look like she’s made a professional… does that fool, or is there no serious neat car houses anymore that sell used ones !? thank you!

  • Purchase advice Forester with gas

Hello together, now I have a lot of Fords and now also BMW behind me, but somehow the Subarus were just always great 🙂 My driving habits are now significantly shrunk since I live much closer to work (15km one direction plus about 120 km every 3 weeks home) and the 3 liter diesel 5 BMW literally eats my hair off my head (consumption fits, but repairs and maintenance my face…). I found this here:http://suche.mobile.de/…/182975017.html?… the equipment is not bad and gas is great for maintenance or? is this at Subaru still so favorable with the insurance? Measured at the 5 BMW of course, but so generally? How about repairs, spare parts and maintenances? are the 100,000km already “many” for the engine, is it possible to expect repairs in the near future? that wouldn’t be so great… do you think that’s a good idea. the price appropriate? what do I have to pay attention to during the test drive and where could one still press on the price? Thank you! Greetings

  • Don’t buy outback with gas?

Dear colleagues, I have now decided to buy an outback, but only listen to horror stories about the gas: the nozzles are clogged and the valve has to be set up. Only cost and stress. Who knows? What’s the matter with the stories? Fingers off of outback with gas? There are already fixed and ready. You don’t have to upgrade anything. (where I have become such an LPG fan after all). So: Let’s stay? (I think it’s a pity!) Thank you for every tip in advance! L Greetings, Walter

  • Help bought the Leagacy, broke the steering or the gearbox?

Hello you from the Subaru no longer jumps to forum, we had exchanged the days over the 2,5 l legacy, you had warned me also, (imprezaraser) but I bought it nevertheless and did not even come about 10 – 20 km over the highway to home. what can that be, have made before the purchase still a small test drive, was so far also everything good. engine was however not yet really warm. have signed the purchase contract, the car was for me also as a gargagenwage n and as very reliable , tüv without defects etc etc. praised. now when I wanted to go with the car then, some city traffic , and over the autobahn I started to move the steering wheel quite minimally independently in my hand , I didn’t think anything about it only perceived . then wanted to drive again more than 100 km and from 120 km he started to spin , the handlebar moved more and more and a tractor-like noise came in , that was very loud and I had the handlebar hardly any more nter control, very heavy jerking. right turn and the 10 – 20 km back, the horror ride, I was so afraid, the car has been regulated, the cooler it was again to normal driving behaviour. behaves an automatic transmission so, before it died? the steering transmission was also installed with the new suspension. wanted to leave the car immediately, people no longer there, have left the cart after 2 hours. futile phone calls there. h!! the car tank by the way also after this ride. so dear professionals, do you have an idea what the car might have?

  • Subaru driver in Berlin and surrounding area

Hello Subaru driver in Berlin and surrounding area ! I would like to buy a Impreza WRX and would like to have some reports about the ( unfortunately very thin ) Subaruwerkstättennetz in Berlin and surrounding area of you, mainly regarding quality of work and price. Maybe there are also WRX drivers in Berlin who tell me about your general experiences with this car ( there are known problems ? ). Thank you !

  • Impreza 2.0 GX Combi LPG (Bj. 2003) – Weaknesses / purchase tips?

Hello together, Since my brother wants to look at a Subaru Impreza 2.0 GX Combi (EZ 11/2003) with LPG / maybe also buy, I searched the Internet a little bit for things to look for when buying such a model, or where its weaknesses lie. So far I could not find great what, which is already very positive, but rather I ask here again, if someone with an idea of the matter might have the one or another hint, on wo again to the vehicle: Subaru Impreza 2.0 GX Combi with LPG system EZ 11/2003 79,000 km 125 hp (92 kW) manual manual manual gearbox (I have attached an image to make it easier to distinguish which model it is, for me the shape of the headlights has helped me with my search / identification of the exact model well) Many thanks already for helpful answers. 🙂 Friendly greetings Stefan

  • Gas or diesel? Outback or BMW 320 d ?

Hello colleagues, I’m new here, so sorry, if I do something wrong. My question: From autumn I have a lot to do in the Black Forest and need a used all-wheeler with automatic. No SUV, they are too prodigious for me and need too much fuel. I prefer a 320 d all-wheeler combo (only 5.5 l on 100 km); but I shy away the high tax for diesel engines and the high price for used BMW. I drive about 20 tkm and could spend about 15,000 eur. ändler advised me of outback models, which already have a gas equipment on the factory side; Subaru had escaped because of engine damage. (does anyone know anything about you?). Dear petroler buy and for 2,400 eur retrofit on LPG. I had done this before with an Astra (150 hp) and have been since the enthusiastic LPG driver. I would like to keep it, but I don’t have it as an all-wheel drive. But if the outbacks can’t handle the gas? On the other hand, Outback + retrofitting is still cheaper a Is 320 d. And: gas refueling costs only half. Thought already on a quattro; but they all need too much fuel and are used very expensive. I am very curious about your advice and grateful for every hint! Good trip to all! Walter

  • Your opinion on the Forester Benziner from 2011

Hello together I’m right there and gentleman cunning what I’m supposed to do. The fact is, we’re looking for a second vehicle with four wheel to our Volvo V70 BJ. 2003 because we live in a very snow-rich region in the winter and I want to pull a smaller trailer with the Forester and then also want to come down from a wet or snow cover meadow. For this reason also a forester with reduction would be the 1st choice even if I usually ni cht often would need, just gives you the feeling to have them in case you need them. Actually, we didn’t want to buy a new car but when I came by yesterday at the friendly one near us, I had to stop and take a look at the new Forster (2013). I have to say that I like it externally and also very well in the interior. Now he also has some interesting 2012 models on offer and now we are already in the mood if we don’t need to for a 2.0 L petrol edition with leather / Navi / reversing chamber and 5 years warranty for a price between 20`000 – 27`000 €. Unfortunately I also read in the forums again and again about problems with the clutch etc., but mostly it was about the diesel models. We had once a Subaru Forester BJ 1997 which ran and ran always without problems until someone drove on it and then he was totally damaged. We are looking for a vehicle again, that in the Reg el with appropriate maintenance like our Volvo again 10 year and mind, 200`000 km runs without major problems. I hope that you can still do so with the 2011/2012 Forester. Thank you for your assessments.
