  • Purchase advice wanted around the Legacy

Our XC70 comes into the years and the new environmental zones push to act (diesel with yellow badge). Since despite all praises the seats in the Volvo are not to tell us at all, we are pushed on Subaru. The all-wheel is not necessarily necessary here on the Lower Rhine, we were more opposed to the higher seats in relation to the V70. In principle, Legacy/Outback is knitted the same way, except for the stronger engines left to the outback. But this is exactly what my wife does not address at all. d , I think it’s cool. At least it doesn’t stand at every corner… So now to my questions: We could buy a 2.o liter Legacy with LPG (important requirement for us). Unfortunately the car is an automatic and probably only 4!? Gang. Is it a lame box and sluggish box? Of course we are now used to the 5 cylinder diesel with huge torque, the change is clear. But I don’t want to get the feeling to get into an undermotorized car now. I’m not a raster! but vo m Fleck I would like to come According to the previous owner it is probably 12 liters of gas, which I have also calculated. How are the maintenance intervals? It is a 2006er, where it has to be taken care of during a visit/sample trip? How are the processing? Never had a Japanese, has it here and there before or is everything robust and durable designed like in cool Sweden? The equipment is already quite tasty, at least he has seen leather, sliding roof, Ahk etc. Nu r the nav is missing and no telephone fixture. I am not a cable friend to the windshield of therefore it should be something permanently installed. Are there appropriate recommendations for this? I am very grateful for every tip

  • Legacy BL/BP 2004 LPG 2,5l 121kW error message

Hello dear Subaru friends, I still have a little problem with my Legacy BL/BP 121kW 2.5l from 2004: I used to buy the vehicle at the beginning of 2010, after a few weeks the engine control light came in combination with flashing cruise control bells (“CRUISE”, when I then drove to my Subaru dealer (not the one I bought the car at), because the chief mechanic told me that the problem was known at Subaru and most of these (LPG) vehicles were within the scope of a rear view. ufs/Kulanz were improved – with my apparently not (the complete exhaust is, according to my Subaru dealer, who sold me the car, excluded from the used car warranty) cause is a signal from the cat – the trigger the engine control, the problem is none – I just would not have the error message and the cruise control – after a while the lamp is out again and the cruise control goes forward, often the problem occurs as a result of stronger Speed up if that bothers me (the problem is about 75% of the driving time), I can have a new cat installed or a regenerated cat – or I could have the error repeatedly deleted (that’s not so great – my dealer is 40min away) the gas system otherwise does not cause any problems – is a system built in by Subaru Germany (Teleflex), from the first kilometer the vehicle drives with it (and the 40Tkm I have it – except for this thing completely flawed Rei) now I have overcome myself, because the lack of cruise control bothered me to invest the money within the scope of an upcoming inspection (300€ plus VAT) and to have a regenerated cat installed, as my car dealership has already done several times, according to its own statement, that happened now two weeks ago – and I was happy – the mistake did not come again – until before! there he was again – WHAT IS HERE LOS? Can someone give me advice? Thank you for your help!

  • used Subaru – pay attention to what?

Hello Subaru connoisseur 🙂 I am very interested in a used Subaru Forester/Outback … I want to have one for under 10000,-€ – relatively little mileage, checkbook maintained and simply good in shot. What should I pay attention to with a used Subaru – what flaws does it have? Sure I am at the gas plant, this should be relatively “fresh” maintained with proof. And what about costs for spare parts? Expensive? Comparable with what? And can you use nem Subaru to every free workshop or is such a car a problem for many? I want to go out tomorrow and take a look at the following and try it out:Subaru Outback What is to be held by the data and the pictures of him? I just pay much attention to how many Subaru I see in traffic … today and yesterday it was zero ^^ many greetings from the north Rob

  • Subaru Impreza transmission

Hello Subaru driver! Got me a Subaru Impreza 1,6 ltr bj 96 for the winter from a Kolegen! The box has already 261,000 km on it and the gearbox made funny noises! since the clutch was in my opinion also quite finished I replaced the gearbox with clutch yesterday! Sau work at home on my pit! So now my question to Subaru connoisseur !The gearbox that I bought from a dealer about Ebay fit perfectly and is also in odnung! So lucky had ! But the new gearbox has a small lever at the front and a switch with a plug that my old one didn’t have! How I found out with the lever pressed forward in the Cokpit LO in green writing! With the sampler flag with different heel positions I could invest translation differences! So is a terrain translation that can be set with the lever! But could find nirgens in the net wss about it or would like to know by which fahtze ug the gearbox stem and how the lever can normally be controlled from the vehicle! About hints if one knows about it I would be very grateful for all the hints about it! Until soon!

  • WRX STI 2011 jerks

Today I was on the road again. after the warm running phase I wanted to speed up completely then I noticed as briefly as a jerk or shake. after a few km he jerked at the normal speed so strongly that I thought a wheel is loose or something. briefly stopped the pneumatics and screws controlled but everything ok. the jerking, shaking is somehow daring but without that the steering wheel vibrates or something! I then went directly to my subaru garage and explained to them. they took him to the lift and let him run but nothing there was okay. they were then a bit perplexed. they will now get in touch with subaru switzerland and ask if there have been such problems before! car is 2 1/2 years old and only 36tkm and of course still factory warranty on it! did you ever have such problems?

  • 2006 Legacy 2.0R – Consumption at brakes with engine?

Hello, I recently bought a 2006 Legacy Wagon 2.0R (121kW) with manual transmission. Compared to my previous 1999 Legacy Wagon 2.5 (115kW) I expected the consumption to be a bit smaller, but it is the other way around (although I am trying to drive economically). Granted I usually drive shorter distances, but I did that with the 2.5 as well. Since the new one has a ‘board computer’ I can track the current consumption and at the same time I noticed that the verb smoke is relatively high even though I go completely from gas and so brake with the engine. For example, at 100 km/h from 5th in 3rd gear and only with the engine to 40 km/h ‘braked off’ – however, the indicated instantaneous consumption was always higher than ‘zero’ – at the beginning at higher speed even over 4 l/100km. Is that also so with other 2.0R? Or is that only a mistake with my? Mfg, Danilo

  • Purchase advice Legacy vs. Forrester

Hello you love Subaru friends and experts, I am currently spoilt for choice between a Legacy 2.0 petrol and a Forester with LPG. The Legacy is older but significantly less KM, but much less equipped. The Forester is a year younger but stands at 175,000km, but better equipment. LPG is nice, but with my very low driving performance no super argument. The 2.0 petroler in the Legacy would also be fully ok. Which of the two is more suitable for the price? Thanks for a decision support! Legacy:http://suche.mobile.de/…/184607280.html?… Forester:http://suche.mobile.de/…/183085120.html?… thank you! Greetings
