Halli hello, I need a short information about the standard installation location of the heater. Is it the usual place in front of the left wheel box behind the front bumper? Or is there something better or is there no space for retrofitting there? Not that I start the disassembly in the area and then will be disappointed. I will use a Uni hose set, there are tricks or ideal installation or should I just connect the thing to the cooler circuit as well as possible? I’m always grateful for every tip I’ve ever had about a universal kit! It’s going to be a Webasto (model not in the head right now) and it’s going to be on the 2.5 engine Legacy 2004. Thank you!

Wipewater warning?!?
Hello, I experienced a nasty surprise in the middle of the highway during the Sauwetter: Wipe water all. Since I have the exclusive version (with Xenon) I had assumed, of course, that among all the gimmicks in the display there is also a corresponding warning – but gauze, wrong thought. And that also does not seem to exist as retrofittable accessories. I always thought at Xenon there would be heavy conditions for the manufacturers – because of forced cleaning of the headlights n Ach 5 x motor start, after every third wiping or similar nothing at all! You can look on a poppy plastic strip, if there is still enough wiping water in the container. My first car without wiping water alarm! Is this somewhere from anyone to retrofit?

Boxer Diesel sudden power failure
Hello to each other, as new Subaru Impreza XV diesel driver (EZ 12.2011) I have to turn to the forum with a bigger problem: from Km approx. 1600 the following sporadic error occurred, the distances between the errors became shorter and shorter: – vehicle breaks strong acceleration from lower rotation range (from about 1500 revolutions, forward 2+3 gear) at approx. 2000 revolutions abruptly – vehicle returns to approx. 1200 revolutions, gas is no longer possible – after gear change l or clutch tread very easy acceleration possible again – at higher speeds (e.g. switch back to 4th gear, can be detected sometimes heavy blow) – engine temperature without meaning (partly with blue temp light, partly also after 20 km drive) – possibly switched off completely (green lights off) – range Diesel-Kat no indication After already several very dangerous situations (in crossing area Bundesstrasse no Lei 60 km/h had to be aborted, behind man almost had to be driven up, excavator 25 km/h could hardly be overtaken) was brought equipment to dealer. Pickup with km -Stand 3200: – update played – error not reproducible – error did not occur at test drive Nowmore since km Stand 3700 comes error again. (up to 500 km three times occurred) Had someone already similar problems with the Boxer Diesel or can give me an error tip, since the dealer with the situation seems to be overfodert. more however at the moment lower problem: The seat mount of the Impreza is apparently overwhelmed with the power of the diesel –> Lean wiggles anyway, seat rail cracks in certain position at every braking or acceleration Thanks in advance for hints or tips a disappointed new-subaru driver

Differences between Diesel and Super Diesel?
Hello to the diesel vehicle Bezitzer, can anyone explain the difference between diesel and super diesel. In the operating instructions it is stated at Subaru that you should not use a bio diesel or also mix diesel which is mainly offered in Germany. I found in Croatia vacation that it mix diesel and the more expensive super diesel is offered. And I also noticed it at power and volume of the engine. Only the premium manufacturers in Germany offer the higher quality diesel at d I hope someone can bring light into the dark…

Automatic door locking Crosstrek Comfort 2025
For one week I’ve had my first Subaru, Crosstrek Comfort 2025. I’ve already introduced myself and myself through the hundreds of adjustment possibilities. I found most of it, but one question remains: Does the Crosstrek lock the doors automatically when driving off? Supposedly he should do this from 20 km/h. In the manual this is the case, it is described in the vehicle settings a parameter, but there is no such thing in the menu.

Strange sound
Hello everyone, maybe someone can give me tips on what the noise could be while driving? Recorded in 30s zone mostly drove straight ahead. This creaking seems to come from the front left. It’s time there and sometimes not. Car was also 3 days in the workshop without what was found, but the car guy had not heard the noise then either. Yesterday it was then felt again all the time there and today again not, after I protected the car from the outside several times It’s not to limit that it only occurs when starting or braking, or if you drive through potholes, no, it’s also there on a flat road, even sometimes when I’m just in creep mode. Maybe a broken spring? But wouldn’t it always be there? I’m grateful about every hint. Maybe someone has had something similar? Thanks for your time. Oh, first 30 sec you can hear it best. And at the end.

Survey: How satisfied were you with your Subaru in 2014?
Edit: Currently this survey is unfortunately defective, it will be brought to the fore in January of course How time is running. The year is already almost around again and it is hopefully an accident-free and eventful driver year behind you. As in the past years, we would like to take stock at the end of the year and ask you how you came through the year 2014 with your mobile kit. Was everything to your satisfaction or there were worries and annoyances with Your vehicle or the service of the manufacturer? How satisfied were you with your Subaru in 2014? Vote in the survey and comment your praise or criticism. We have to many manufacturers a direct wire and the manufacturers also read on MOTOR-TALK. That’s why your opinion comes exactly where it should land: at Subaru.

Subaru Legacy 2008 – a good choice?
Hello together As I said, I am looking for a replacement for my current E36, which slowly but surely everything, just not reliable. I have already requested an insurance offer, which seems to be even cheaper than my BMW. Since I have no idea of cars, I am looking for something reliable, which is loyal to me at least for the next 4-5 years (what happens after that doesn’t matter, then I already have my next car). I drive about 30,000km a year. ch likes: Subaru Legacy 2.5i, built in 2008 Kilometer: around 100,000, maximum 150,000 gas system in any case installed (either from factory, or retrofitted) Automatic gearbox Now I am faced with the problem, which I had to painfully notice at the BMW: Having the car is one, to keep the other! I am interested in the following: -Is the consumption really as extreme as often described (12 liters combined)? -How long does the Subaru have to be warm in normal weather (so not in winter) -How often does something break? Our previous Subarus never had anything, does the Legacy from the year 08 have this good reliability? Due to our excellent experience with Subaru Legacys, I even got the idea to look at a Legacy. -And of course well-known mistakes, what do I have to pay attention to when buying especially at Legacy 2008?

legacy with check engine problem…
Hello together! I have had a 91′ 2.2 legacy with automatic transmission for a few years now. the only thing that really bothers me about the vehicle, are problems that sometimes occur in the empty run in the warm run phase (even if the engine is still warm…): first, the check engine does not go out – the engine does not look at it and the engine does not run “round” as if it were running on one or two cylinders only. he then has a whole lot of time until after some time (usually a few days) ) starts normal again and also the control light immediately goes out. the motor then sounds like an old diesel from a tractor and if you don’t give enough gas, he dies immediately. hopefully someone can give me a tip…
