Hello guys, to make it short: – Xenon from model year 2006 ONLY with 3.0 six-cylinder – 5-speed automatic transmission for 2.0 and 2.5 you can forget – Facelift with one or more unnamed models at the end of the year (possibly optical alignment to the B9 Tribeca? this is what the new design line at Subaru should look like…) – Autogas retrofitting remains the 2.0 and 2.5 suction engines reserved no news: the Impreza WRX STI is a cool part Ciao, Eric

Justy now lives with us!!! Just a few questions….
Moinmoin, bought a Justy 1.0 yesterday. No rusts only on and a few bubbles, which do not disturb me any further. Various previous owners with year 1916 and 1917, the car itself year 08/92, comprehensible 103 ́km for 400€. I think that’s ok. Have also a few questions: From time to time, the engine swallows itself when accelerating, especially from low speeds. Normal? Or adjustment problem on the carburettor? Exhaust is light leaking. If I am swimming at the Is that normal, that the background noise increases considerably during all-wheel use and the sound reminds the whole thing a little bit of an unsyncronized transmission? It can no longer be deduced, whether the timing belt has been changed so far. Can you recognize that somehow? Are there any markings/marks that you can pay attention to? Is there anything else that I should pay attention to? Otherwise, the Jus will give me the ty now hopefully serve good services as a mobile “hunting lodge” without accommodation 😉 Thank you for your answers in advance Greeting Lärchenwald

Subaru sleeps technology trends !
Hello, today I was once again with my parents, who want to buy now a 4×4 combi. They drive so far Ford Focus, because of a very steep garage exit they always hang out. at the very front in the selection is now a Skoda Octavia Combi 4×4 Although I am also Subaru-enthusiast, I have really marveled what Skoda has to offer – and Subaru just not as there are: – ESP – Xenon (extra charge) – Euro 4-standard !!! – Light Assistant – a large selection of paint paints – Tur bodiesel (but it’s supposed to be a gasoline engine) the Octavia comes in the already well-equipped 4×4 version with additional metallic, EFH rear, seat heating, radio remote control, air conditioning and Xenon on a list price of 26,670 EUR. With a similarly expensive Legacy 2.0 missing o.g. features, especially ESP and Euro 4 are already mandatory nowadays ! There will probably be some who consider a Subaru purchase after all. Of course, Subi also has advantages, for example the Hillholder or dual range, that are already unique selling features… or Japanese reliability… But it still doesn’t help anything…. Then I can understand my father, who simply doesn’t want to miss ESP or the Euro 4 standard in a 25,000 EUR car, he will also order the xenons…

LPG Consumption Subaru Legacy 2.0R?
Can anyone report on concrete experience values? The data I found in the nett vary greatly. Generally speaking, a 20-30% higher gas consumption compared to petrol is assumed. I tried to calculate this once and to set it in relation to the consumption of my S60 with 6l diesel at 100 km: consumption S60 2.4D (to 100km) outside (80% AB): 6l diesel x 1.12Eur=6.72EUR ———————————————————————————————— on 30% extra consumption with LPG and a conservative estimated price for LPG of 0.65 EUR I come at the following cost resp. saving: Consumption Legacy 2.0R Combi (to 100km) within: 12,4l +30%=16,1l LPG x 0.65=10,47EUR apart: 7.0l +30%=9.1l LPG x 0.65= 5,91EUR combined: 9.0l +30%=11.7l LPG x 0.65= 7,60EUR saving with Legacy LPG at 30000km/year (consumption outside): 243,-EUR ——————————————————————————— 0% More consumption with LPG results in the following costs or savings: Consumption Legacy 2.0R Combi (to 100km) within: 12.4l +20%=14.9l LPG x 0.65=9.67EUR extra-urban: 7.0l +20%=8.4l LPG x 0.65= 5.46EUR combined: 9.0l +20%=10.8l LPG x 0.65= 7.02EUR Saving with Legacy LPG at 30000km/year (extra-urban consumption): 378,-EUR Add to this approx. 235,-EUR less vehicle tax compared to diesel. With optimal driving out of town I get a saving in terms of consumption and tax pr. o Year, which should be between 478,- and 613,- EUR. Is that realistic, or do I have a mistake in there somewhere? And if we are already there, how much gas goes into the tank at the Legacy? I found information about the range with gas of about 400 km. That’s not much. For me this would mean having to refuel at least 2 times the week. With my diesel I come with a filling of 1000 km. For reviews, tips and hints I would be very grateful. s (who thinks very seriously about a legacy)

Comparison EJ 20 with FB 20
Hello, I’m on my way to a Forester SH 2,0X. The question is now: with EJ 20, or with FB 20? Pro EJ 20: revolving, long-sampled and proven, robust and well-known for many screwdrivers. Contra EJ20: Sew more, has one timing belt, has less passage at low speeds. Only available until 3/2011, so the car would be something older. Pro FB 20: more powerful, more economical, chain (how long does this “bike chain” last?) Contra FB 20: Less revolving ig, and : Until 2014 there should have been massive problems with unsuitable piston rings, greatly increased oil consumption and piston tippers. And if you look at the XV and the boxer diesel, you notice that in other Subaru new developments the cost red pencil must have been massively in the focus.http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…n-neuen-fb-benzenemotoren-t5341545.htmlhttps://www.reddit.com/…/ (click on the small photo in the first post is highly recommended)https://www.google.de/search?… Therefore, I would like to ask you to assess which engine you would prefer. Thank you in advance!

Super Plus – measurable benefits or voodoo?
Moin together, I accidentally filled Super Plus 2 weeks ago. The cock was already in it, the price was almost 4 cents higher, so I thought, no matter, get full… Without having been aware of any improvement, I now have to find out after just one tank filling and 650km later: – Cold start: The engine runs immediately after the cold start, without the typical light sprets – pass: My XV 1.6 with its 114 hp is now not necessarily a racing car, a When the engine is warm, the engine runs even softer and smoother than usual. In the stand you might think it would be out. – Start/Stop automatic: As soon as it wants to start the engine again, this is much easier for the starter. It turns short and zack, engine starts and is immediately fully there. – Consumption: I have been driving the same distance since 12.000km every day. The consumption has changed from f 8,4 – 8,6 liters penned, this also shows the BC after the end of the journey. Now with the Super Plus the XV consumes only 7.8-8.2 liters, the BC indicates this correctly, with the tank filling I got accordingly further than usual. Can this really be that Super Plus makes up so much more compared to Super 95? I have never thought about this before, however, I noticed that the opposite occurs with E10, so higher consumption and worse run. If my observations were true, then the extra price of about 5 cents would be worth everyone. A tank filling of 60 liters would cost at the moment 3 euros more. But they would save themselves due to the lower consumption and the felt extra power. What do you think, have you already had similar experiences? Greetings!

Winter bikes for WRX STI
Hello people Wanted to ask how the STI drivers do this here, with the winter tires. Upon request with several big Pneushops there are not really affordable and good offers here. 1. Except at Subaru.ch I find no complete wheels with winter tires suitable for this car, which do not change the track widths. (What does the MFK have to be registered) 2. Most suppliers suggest me just to mount winter tires on the original ones and always to (But what I don’t really like) Is this really a problem, and is it only original and expensive at Subaru. How do you do that? In addition, I would still have to sell my impreza GT winter com pallet wheels with original Subaru rims, 16 inch wheels with 80% new 215 Continental. If anyone is interested.

Super Subaru!!!!
Hello! So since you advised me not to do the automatic justy, I bought myself a newer Justy GX with permanent all-wheeler. And you know what? the part is hell bad. I am a ski lift up without the car stopped. So I don’t give it to you anymore. Can I just recommend it. Another small question is the 68hp motor robust? Mfg Blackdriver

Performance measurement at the WRX and Focus ST
Moin, so with me the NM is wrong in the diagram, one would have to recognize immediately. The test bench was converted shortly before and the NM calculation in the all-wheel test was something wrong. The PS were considered as KW so to speak. Will not now again on it. The of my Burder has the system of LODER under it with Sportkat… same performance as the series ST. Of course now have no previous-after comparison, but 30ps more as of Loder times claimed are guaranteed not have here something before itet. Images, videos, data etc…MeasurementST Power 218.8 PS @ 6339 U/min correct 222.1 PS @ 6339 U/min Rotation 351 NM max @ 6339 U/min Loss less. 39 PS shortly after the STs…. WRX, I find quite a lot Ultimate or so was NOT in the tank. If there is no difference to the normal SP, just want to say. Power 243.2 PS @ 5597 U/min correct 246.9 PS @ 5597 U/min Rotation edit wrongly calculated Loss less. 73 PS as soon as I look at the 6000 revolutions here, pulls the focus better, because then the power is still rising or there is still a gear to select…. If you insert the difference in the loss power into a diagram, you can see it even more clearly e.g. : XLS file are hopefully enough info P.S. No one of the tested believe anything but the difference from the WRX to the ST would have to come along then I’m just thinking about it, one knows how to calculate the torque, it seems funny to me… MfG peter

Vivio always goes out
Hello Subaru friends, with our little exotic in this country: Subaru Vivio GLi, I have a little problem. He has automatic transmissions steplessly and goes out more and more often at almost every traffic light.Kerzen are only 15tsd.Km in it. He also gets a long distance more often. Luckily he starts up again immediately. But that’s very annoying. That’s what I mean. :-)) I ask here because my former workshop man only twitches his shoulder and thinks,if no lamp lights up, he doesn’t know either. I can’t be satisfied with that. I don’t want to give these exotics into the hands of an uninformed one, so that they can experiment with it, but I think that the problem might have occurred on other automatic vehicles. Thank you for every tip.
