Hello guys, say, where do you buy spare parts for your Subaru? It was quite difficult to find the right middle and rear silencer for my Forester. But beyond that it also needs mounting parts, which are of course not included. Especially the seal which is installed from MSD direction KAT, is (on German sides) nowhere to be found (Subaru part number 44022AA123), as well as the screws, nuts and springs for attaching the MSD are also nowhere to be found. On foreign sides you can find some parts – but a seal for 10-20 dollars plus 25 dollars shipping is just absurd, just like a five pack screws for 27 euros, directly from Japan. So how do you do it with the parts, there must be a way..? mfg N

Suabru Forester BJ2003 engine running restless
Hello to all…. Subaru Forester Year of manufacture 2003, mileage 82,000 km for 23,000 km on LPG ,2.0 L with automatic transmission The engine has been running very restless for 1 month. This is best noticed when the car is idle or when I am driving up and standing on a red traffic light. It doesn’t matter if the car is running on petrol or LPG and it doesn’t matter if the engine is warm or cold. The whole car is shaking and I have the feeling of the engine jumps out immediately. Otherwise the car pulls out. My first approach (which I also got from a mechanic as a tip) was to change the spark plugs. When changing the candles, I noticed that it was in the spark plug oil. I then cleaned everything and changed the candles. The old spark plugs were still OK and there was no oil on them. After the change the car ran much better. But that only lasted about 2 days until the whole thing w I have prepared a picture for a better understanding. Now the mechanic thinks he has to take off the whole housing (where the spark plugs are) and replace the spark plug seals. My question is, could it be the reason why the car is running so restless? Does anyone have another idea why the car is running so restless in idle? I am grateful for every tip and every help

Subaru Impreza WRX 2004 Purchase advice
Hello dear Subaru municipality. First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Daniel am 30 years young comes from beautiful Styria and I have been on the Volvo side at MotorTalk for a long time. Now I would like to venture a change. And that is on an Impreza WRX Built. 2004. Because I would have just one at hand it revolves exactly around this year of construction. Now to my questions: how “robust” are these vehicles. He was neither tuned nor was a service omitted however Unfortunately, he already has about 200,000km on the speedometer. Is that already a problem in your eyes? When can the timing belts be replaced with these motors? And what known flaws does this model have? Gearbox, Diff?? I would be very grateful for your answers and stay with you.

Subaru Impreza WRX secondary air pump
Hello dear Subaru friends, my brother owns a Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5 with 230hp built in 2006. Recently he went into business with the car. At the turnoff he noticed that something was still going on in the engine room. The part ran until the battery was empty. After we gave the car start assistance, the check engine went on warning light. We then immediately drove to the friendly Subaru dealer. It turned out that the secondary air pump d 11000€ I wanted to ask if it is not possible to disconnect the pump and to bridge it with a resistance. If this is not possible, I wanted to ask if you know a page where Subaru spare parts is running, since I did not find it on the Internet. I hope you can help me further Thank you

True or lied: Legacy currently not available?
Hello together, since about last September I have made some attempts to test a legacy. These attempts have all failed, which was not because of me. I don’t want to be bored with the details here, but the last attempt of today did not work, because the dealer currently has no legacy as a demonstration car. Ok, this can happen at a smaller dealer already, which can not always have the whole model range running. An appointment, when times called However, he could not give me a legacy, because the Legacy Mj. 07 was currently neither delivered nor ordered. There was no information about what this could be. He also did not know what would happen to the Mj. 08, even a model change could be possible for him in view of this unclear situation. On the other hand, the Impreza Mj. 08 was available, although it should be presented for Germany only at the IAA in Frankfurt. Can someone confirm this or know how Is it possible that I got caught by Captain Blaubär, who is now telling me his fairy tales? Greetings Jörg PS: If I were looking seriously at the moment, I would try it at another dealer. However, since I’m just about getting to know him for the first time at the moment, I still see the whole thing relatively relaxed.

Japanese vehicles – higher insurance contributions
Hello , after a long time thinking , I decided to buy a wrx or sti , well I would like … When I then had an insurance fee calculated , I got the spit stuck in my neck … I would have to pay for a wrx 06 at full kasko almost 1600eu in the year and a sti 3200eu … which would be a lot of money … partkasko it would be only almost 800eu for the sti but nevertheless . Well then I have to calculate a contribution for an S4 and M3 read and then I had to swallow again … both would cost for me around 1000eu full cascade, which is completely abnormal. How can I then a vehicle what only 230ps has stuck in the same category what 340ps has ?? that is nevertheless completely abnormal? Then I also realized why you see such vehicles almost never driving around … it is not always so that the one who gets such a vehicle is also equal to a raster, in the opposite part someone who buys an M3 is for me I’d like to hear your opinion on it?

Legacy 06
Hello together, have the local dealer here in Frankfurt am Main offered a Legacy 2.0 Active MY06 for the SINGLE PURCHASE PRICE (even the invoice was submitted to me) I would then get the ecomatic system installed for 2,900,-. Question now is the difference between 06 and 07 technically considered so large? Or is a 12 / 06 approved MY06 model also not wrong? The same offer also applied for outback demonstration cars and Impreza demonstration cars. Outback possibly the better alternative? Looking forward to your opinions! Thank you and greeting Rul00R

Gear ratio justy
Hello Does anyone have the gearboxes and final drive ratios of the Justy for me? The vehicle was BJ 94 I believe and has 75hp. At the gearbox there is a pressure box on the side. I believe this will turn on the four wheel. Can someone explain how I have to connect the vacuum hoses so that I can get the four wheel on? Or better. Can the can be completely dismantled and the four wheel permanently switched on? How is the translation of the cardan shaft? The switching shaft ….where is the nn the first gear? turn left and push in? Don’t worry I don’t want to drive on the road. Is for motorsport. Greeting _Boomcar_

Subaru soon without four-wheel?
Hello, in the world there is a statistics on the January sales figures 2007 compared to 2006. In addition to the general statement of the statistics (sales figures over all manufacturers decreased, probably due to the higher VAT) one can see that Subaru with almost 50% break-in generally had to leave the most feathers. Is the mild winter? Who buys an all-wheel-drive car if there is no snow? Can it be because of this that Subaru next to the AWD also offers FWD or RWD vehicles?? Sweetheart, Eric
