Moin, tried around 3-4 times and tried out the video function of a new photocam. Was the first time that I started with more than 1500 revolutions… I have to say if you give gas at idle speed, you are only minimally slower. Can also be that I could possibly turn even higher at the start, but I did not want to start at 3500-40000-100 first attempt0-100 second attempt For comparison0-100, rolls in the first gear At start speed 900 revolutions were the in the image editing program I still believe UNDER 6.5 on Tacho ~ 107 the second gear would have to go about until Tacho ~113 what real 105 would be according to the operating instructions. But doesn’t make any sense to turn so high. for fun incredible fast format of videos Divx 4… MFG Peter

New Forester – Odor Lineartronic
Hello together! Yesterday I got my new Forester and was today the first time in the “area”… I said, I tried to get up a muddy slope. No problem in dry condition, today in the mud he didn’t come up, despite X-mode. Tires have gone crazy and in the interior it smelled as if the clutch had been ground, so after boiled plastic… but I have Lineartronic… How can that be? Does the Forester have to “get in”? Has now almost 50km d up…not enough for the terrain yet? Thanks for your feedback! Vg

easy “soft” jerking when accelerating under full loading pressure
Hello, is this possibly a sign that the valves have to be adjusted? I don’t have a restless motor run. In the morning it shakes a bit, sound is as always. When the accelerator pedal is fully pressed, the acceleration sometimes works wave-like and also somewhat reduced. On the charging pressure indicator I could not see anything unusual. In the log function of Torque there are times 1-2 seconds where the speed signal is stored incorrectly 6000 instead of 4000 or so. In the last year I noticed that suddenly in the 5th gear with a gentle jerk performance was gone. At the moment I notice this wave-like also in the 3rd gear and it is often turned out, No errors and also no MKL. Spark plugs, Wapu with timing belts, crankshaft dampers, V-belts, clutch flywheel and all the oils are currently new.

Newbie needs help!
Dear community, on the basis of the topic “Diesel”, which I do not want to go into, we are looking for another car. We are looking for a gasoline truck now. We happened to come to the Subaru Legacy Kombi 2,5I. We also have a car in the closer selection. However, I am an absolute newcomer in the topic Subaru. Therefore I hope now for your help. 1. Trailer operation: We have a caravan, 1600kg, and drive about 7,000km with it through Europe. Are there any problems with the gearbox? Is the maximum permissible drag weight limited? I couldn’t find anything so far. 2. Consumption: is always relative, I know. But how far does the specified consumption differ? 3: Anything else I need to know? We like it at first glance: https://suchen.mobile.de/…/257059187.html?action=parkItem We’re still driving a w211 320CDI. Thank you!

Updated survey: How satisfied were you with your Subaru in 2014?
As in previous years, we would like to know how you came through the previous year with your mobile kit. Were you satisfied or were there worries and troubles with your vehicle or the service of the manufacturer?Even if you have voted in December: In some forums the survey was broken. Because all MOTOR-TALKers should have the same chance to express their opinion, we decided to close the survey in general and start over now. n News: How satisfied were you in 2014 with your Subaru? Voice in the survey and external praise or criticism as a comment. We have to many manufacturers a direct wire and they read with us on MOTOR-TALK. That’s why your opinion is exactly where it should end up: at Subaru.

Battery for Forester Diesel Year 2009
First a friendly hello! My Forester bought in 2009 probably needs a new battery. I still have the first one in it, but now weakens. So I want to buy replacement and start my problems. On the battery stands: 95D26L . The dimensions are lxbxh 255x170x210. This measure is also specified by the sheet metal frame on which the battery stands. When searching in the grid or at the dealer I was offered the most different models, which however can not all fit. At ATU a banner P9504 was proposed, but it is 304mm long. This above all battery size seems to be available in the net only in Russia – India or Australia. or there are adapters that fit something else. So far I did not get any answers. So far I suggested batteries: Banner P7024 or P9504 or 50300 Uni Bull Varta E23 Exide Premium EA 754 Moll M3 plus K2 Kamina Start 595018064 But the dimensions are not suitable for all the specified sheet metal frame. and can give me a good advice – perhaps also to the battery experiences. Dear greeting Ema

Forester XT & Lineartronic BJ2016 does not overlap
Good day, I actually come from another segment and therefore drive Quattro. However, a friend bought a Forester as stated in the title and now that we have nice snow, we drove with both cars times into the snow. Now to the problem: We got stuck with the Forester on a road with both loose snow and really frozen. When we stood and tried it backwards, the engine turned up to about 2500 turns. We got off and around the wheels a little free, so there was no resistance around the wheels. Then the forester started to build up power again. After about a quarter of a wheel revolution there was full power again. However, the problem repeated itself every time we had to go back and forth. Each time I had to get out and make the snow piles before and behind the wheels away so that the forester “first S How could that be? It smelled like hot oil. There was absolutely no drift, despite 240 hp and four-wheel. It seemed as if the clutch would slip through, or not even plug in at all, since the electronics limited the speed at 2500… Can someone please explain this to me?

Particulate emissions of suction engines
Hello to all who are interested in the topic. I read tonight that the particle emission of petrol engines is supposed to be tax-relevant. Supposedly at the end of 2018. There also vehicles were presented which until then got a particle filter missed. That was almost exclusively about direct insulator with turbo charge. But now I still have in the back of my mind that the boxer motors of Subaru are yes suction motors and because of this combustion technology no particles are produced at all. I tried in the I nternet to research, but I didn’t find anything useful. Is there anyone who knows about it or maybe someone who already drives the new XV 1.6 MJ 2018. I have ordered the XV 1.6 trend and I expect to get it at the end of April, beginning of May 18. Please share your experiences, I’m curious. I haven’t dealt with such topics so far. It was important for me that my car brings me safely and reliably from A to B. As it does, I was told by Wurs t. But now I have dealt with the new purchase (since the beginning of 2017) and various brands for a long time and have consciously gone to Subaru, just because there are boxers and suction motors. And because of the four-wheel. Please write me your opinion, am curious. Greeting Straussenvogel1971
