  • Nailing at Subaru

    Hello together recently bought me a Subaru for the first time. Built. 94, 135 TKM, 2 l Legacy Turbo. Now I have two questions: 1. Is it normal that the initially usual “nails” do not disappear even after warm running of the engine? If not, what can I do (aditive is already inside)? 2. Various LED’s don’t work, or I’m not sure if LEDs are installed at all: rear disc switch, seat heating, main light switch, warning indicator. Question: what is this, it ka nn hardly be that all LED’s have given up the mind! Thanks for the help

  • Impreza 1.6i 90PS tuning?

    Hello, I bought a Impreza 1.6i 90hp MY94 a few weeks ago. Since I had a Golf III 90hp before, and was actually quite satisfied with it (but someone scrapped me), I thought it would do it. But the Subi is slower around worlds than my Golf Especially in the 5th gear. Because I am on the highway a lot, but this is my most used gear. But it doesn’t pull at all, with a consumption of 10 liters! Is that normal? My Golf was a 1.8 and has about 8.5 Can you get anything out of a subi like that? I’m grateful for every tip.

  • Ibiza 1.0 TSI creates only 187kmh

    Dear Seat Forum I’m driving now 3 months an Ibiza FR bj. 2022 with the 1.0 TSI (110hp) as a hand switch. I already noticed at the beginning that when you hear a whistle faster (the loader) and a very clear release noise when you walk off the gas, I didn’t even know from work with my wife who drives a Clio with a 3 cylinder 1.0, went to Seat and they thought the noise was normal. I just had the first chance of a And now I have given full speed as you know it. What has disappointed me is that the starting from 170 becomes so sluggish compared to my wife’s Clio, however, it is so sluggish at 190. After a few minutes full speed I have reached 187km/h, mountain down after about 10 min it has shown me quite fleeting 191.   • Ibiza 6J – Servo failed – remove pump?

    Hello together, my friend suddenly lost power steering after starting. Yellow light burns permanently, restarts unfortunately did not get better like with the computer. I tried to read the error with an old Delphi version (2013). Here was the error: Can not reach control unit, or no signal. I assume if the pump had switched off because of too low level, would be another error here? By the way, I have the level I’m looking for the best solution for the dilemma. My attempt would now be to get a used pump and install it myself. Is this possible without coding? I can’t read out anything from the old pump. The next question would be how best to remove the pump without a stage? Must the bumper be checked, there is too little in it (there’s a drop on the bottom of the rod). or rather the wheelhouse shell? Or is there anything else you could check / do here? Data about the vehicle is a bit vague, is definitely a 6J with 105hp hand switch, year of construction should be so 2012.   • Leon without noises?

    Hello, I am currently interested in the Leon ST (think of FR with 180hp and DSG) and therefore read a lot here. One certainly reads in every forum of problems and noises that a car makes, but after I have made a test drive of the above car today (show car 13.000 km, 11/2017) I am a little scared. The car has cracked or raced from the center console at every start or acceleration in the city, the panoramic roof has cracked and also son I could live with the panoramic roof, that’s just a big thing, but I found the funny “rattle” from the center console frightening. The good man from the car dealership wanted to look at it immediately, but that doesn’t help me anymore. Now my question to calm my nerves a bit: Is there also driver whose car (similar to Konfi) inside is quiet? Sometimes there is a noise coming somewhere, it’s OK for me.   • 2014 Outback 2.0D CVT – comical behavior in cold

    Hello, so our new Outback 2.0D CVT has finally arrived for about 2 weeks. After the first 800km I am still adapting to the car (I drove for 10 years Skoda Octavia 1.6), but in general I find the new Outback great. Since the first colder days and nights are there, I have observed a strange behavior. If the engine is cold (i.e. 5 degrees or less), the CVT goes quickly to the higher speeds even if you give only little gas. To get from 0 to 50 with The engine turns 2500 and gives hardly any power. Compared to warmer engines, the speeds in normal driving (and at speeds up to 100kmh) do not actually exceed 2000. If you switch from “D” to “M”, the behavior of the CVT changes nothing at all – as if you were not in “M” mode. This strange behavior takes only about 2-3 minutes – after that the speeds go down abruptly again to normal level . I could observe it at a constant speed of about 85 kmh – after a short time the speeds suddenly came down from 2100 to about 1600. After that also the “M” mode worked again normal. I will soon ask at dealers, but it would be great if someone had an idea here. thank you
