  • Seat Exeo 1.8 TSI – Combustion oscillators

Hello together, I drive a Seat Exeo 1.8 TSI (BJ 11/2010 – 168 Tsd KM) which currently suffers from burn-outs on cylinder 3 in cold engine (defect code: p0303). The burn-outs occur sporadically during acceleration and disappear as soon as the engine is warm. You can evaluate the burn-outs on cylinder 3 with a tester (e.g. VCDS) while driving and if it swings up a corresponding error is written into the error memory (MKL b The following has already been done to fix the problem: – spark plugs and coils have been replaced but errors remain with cylinder 3 – compression has been tested and is fine – injection nozzle cylinder 3 has been replaced – suction bridge has been replaced (but wg. other problem) – endoscopy (no strong coking or similar according to the workshop) – At 96 Tsd Km about 6 years ago also the problematic pistons (wg. oil combustion) and the control chain were exchanged The The workshop still said that the engine control unit might have a Macke. How likely can such a thing be with the problems only on a cylinder and only if the engine is cold? Of course, it could also be that the newly built nozzle does not work cleanly, but that would be rather improbable?! I’m a little perplexed now. Maybe someone also had scho n times a similar problem. Thank you and greeting Marcel

  • Radio switched to better model, all good but NAVI & phone spins

Hy, in the Seat Altea XL from 2011 changed an original built-in radio (RCD310) for a RNS310. At the picture above is the original old and below the new. Antenna connection I then changed, funny construction… OK the car had before no Navi & no phone (only on the steering wheel the keys). Now everything connected and installed. It was called yes, that my car (how do I believe all the Seat this year) in the radio antenna also integrated the GPS antenna (whether it really is ?) Ra dio go Media goes steering wheel control goes problem 1: If you press “Phone” on the radio or also on the microphone symbol on the steering wheel, it unfortunately only goes “Mute” no more. It does not come the telephone menu, as it should be, then you can make the settings (couple with mobile phone ect.). Why not, what can be there ? Problem 2: Navi, you enter a destination, he recognizes it and calculates the route. You go and the red cursor in the middle moves also with the car, reacts to curves ect. (so he should already have GPS, because how does he recognize the vehicle movements?). But he does not recognize the location, he thinks he is 900km away, and the map in the background is absolutely not true, he drives next to roads, over fields ect. Why is this so? In the back of the new radio is a blue plug, I first thought this was just for the GPS antenna, and tried using a new GPS antenna that I still had to plug in, but the plug is a complete What exactly is the blue jack on this device? And what does it have on it that the navigator doesn’t radio properly? Can it be that I have to go to the VW and these have to tell the radio first that it is in another car, or how (but for what then the code ect.).

  • Key code Seat Toledo 2000

Moin people, I’ve moved my only lock somewhere and now I obviously can’t start it. My question is where I can find the key code because I don’t have the key card. Those of the VAG group want to make me bankrupt by installing a completely different lock system. The other option is to find a specialist but he also needs a code. Maybe at a lock? I would like to thank you beforehand for the answers.

  • Seat Leon 1.9 TDI 81 kW 1M clutch pedal did not return

hey, my father is on the road today with the Leon year 2001, he just tells me that the clutch pedal didn’t come back once and he almost didn’t get away. He then got it out with his foot again. Further it starts to rattle, with running engine, when you press the clutch pedal, so from half the clutch path. I don’t know yet if he can insert the first gear and drive away … he doesn’t believe I tried anymore … someone no idea? clutch defective or n I’m looking forward to towing the ropes.

  • RNS-E display, possible polishing?

Hello I have read a lot here in the forum on the topic RNS-E polish! Unfortunately I did not see any pictures like the damaged displays from. I would set some pictures of my error image, maybe someone can tell me if we can often be described with polishing and protective foils fixed? Since it is difficult to get an exchange display or about 300€ for such a small display! If you compare this in which size you can get a display. For me, this is already really unclear. Unfortunately, this display had errors already when buying the vehicle. I’m curious about your answers.

  • 1.9 TDI or 1.8T

Hello together, this topic was already opened 3 years ago, but perhaps due to the further development of the current discussion about particulate filters for diesel, I would like to inform myself before buying a Seat Leons. I have to decide between the diesel and the petroler. I drive little highway (possibly 1 a month, about 100 KM) and am mainly traveling in city and over-country. Although the petroler in the sprint is from 0 to 100 faster, many say, since ß the diesel is much better in the intermediate sprint. So from 60 to 120. Is that right? Unfortunately, I have to admit that I have little idea of the car, so would be very grateful for a “simple” understandable answer. Moreover, maybe someone can tell me what will look like in the future with the particulate filter for the diesel. Will I have to install it? Thank you for your help! Greetings, SebSey PS: My annual driving performance will be about 10,000 to 15,000 KM.

  • No chip, does my Leon want to drive for more than two years?

Hi people Some time ago I wrote in the forum about it that I wanted to let my Leon 1.8T 20V TS Chippen in spring. But take off the topic, because I heard from an inseider and other people among them also a work city master things that I did not like in the long run. Which I actually believe too? Certainly Chiptuning is a fine thing but what if I want to drive my flicker far longer than 2 years, that is the thing about hacking. You already noticed that the well-known chippers have very specific requirements, e.g. SKN literally from the old businessbed.2years warranty from the day of the first registration and up to 60Tkm.Great that means I have only 1year warranty and for that I can then pay 99Euro.Then you have to get out first of itself the guarantee actually refers to itself. In which then not even all damages can be included. In addition, if you look at the reviews from the providers, all report only good, well, the things ia have let themselves in before curtzem or just get inside for 1 year. Some even have self-assessment, is nevertheless comely or. ? IT has not yet reported who drives his chipped for more than 2years, which is then thing. And what I hear again and again the many their chipped cars before the course of the 2years have sold. Ürdig? In some car shows on TV (auto-motor-sport) auc was already talked about chipping, there is a real alternative but?later?and then? There are quite different temps on the individual parts (over200Cmehr) and completely different pressures on the cables that can not go well in the long run.Already thought that the guarantee by the tuners could be statistically calculated how long such an engine could hold. Because there is a wear calculation formula from the Metal industry. If that wasn’t the case, why didn’t Seat just chip the Cupra. The Cupra engine has significant changes than that of the TS/FR. PS why Chippen 70% diesel cars and the traditional rest only benziener. Question of cost? However, I know one that has been in a chip for a very long time, only so much that is with the car only in the factory city. Conclusion: who wants to drive his car longer would not want to operate chip tuning.PS at a fuel price of 1.24.9 p/L SuperPlus.? E I’d be very interested in your opinion.

  • Toledo purchasing advice

Hello first time and happy new year So my dear old audi has unfortunately given up the spirit and now I am looking for a new car. So then I stepped on the Toledo (not the completely new but year 01) Since I have never really occupied myself with Seat so much, you can help me here maybe a bissel. So I thought about a 1.6liter with 105ps or a 1.8liter with 125ps. or has someone already gained positive and (hopefully no) negative experiences with these models? Would be very helpful to learn a little bit more about it. I have already driven the test and must say that I was suitable very enthusiastic greeting and already many thanks Seb
