Seat Arona Facelift Magnificent selection of rims/tires…?
At the facelift of Seat Arona I find a marked deterioration in the choice of the rims/tires. There are only once in silver and once in glossy turned (also in silver type) but there are no rims that are turned in black or really in black. In every car it is now standard that there are black rims. Only with Seat Arona FR it looks very lean. It is not normal, is it not?

Oil consumption
Hello, because our two Arona (1.5 TSI and 1.6 TDI) have been with us for a while now and the diesel is now 4000km before the first inspection I wanted to hear how the oil consumptions are. I replenished the diesel before 1000km at 25000km, after it was just before the lower limit. The 1.5TSI is after about 16000km already at half of the limit. What does this look like for you?

Is he an SUV?
Hello everybody, I wanted to start a discussion in which everyone gives their own opinion (without arguing). I think that our Arona is more than just a crossover. I think that it is a real SUV after all. Caution: I mean not a real SUV, but an SUV, as they are all today. City cars with indicated offroad genes. In my view, the Arona is a real SUV because it offers the following: -High entrance -High seating position -Vie l Ground clearance for its size -field paths and meadows can be travelled without the exhaust being torn off -SUV optics Why the topic? Because one or the other test report speaks of a slightly higher compact car (especially the Ibiza) and I don’t see it that way at all. For me, the Arona is a real compact SUV with the emphasis on SUV! Moreover, the VW Tiguan (a large SUV) is not cross-country, but it has all-wheel drive over stock and stone it also breaks the B Get your opinion out of here!

Hello dear Seat friends! Have had a problem with Full Link – AndroidAuto since yesterday. Normally I connect my phone to the car via the USB socket and immediately starts AndroidAuto Google Maps. The friendly one thinks it can only be on the phone?! Can someone help me? Ps.: Have also tried the samsation of my mother who has not yet installed the current security patch, does not work either.

Full Link – Android Auto – USB or Bluetooth
Hello, it is normal that calls are accepted via Bluetooth (smartphone not unlocked, jacket pocket), while for the operation of the Navi app Waze a cable connection is necessary via USB, in this case Bluetooth can not be used? How described everything works absolutely perfectly, but without cable it would be even more beautiful. Is this dependent on brand and manufacturer of the car – or of the smartphone or…? Thank you and kind greetings Details: SEAT Arona TGI with Full Link, Smartphone BQ Aquaris X2, Android 9 PS Had asked before (link below), had got there via the search function without realizing that I was in the wrong forum, so now the demand in the right forum – sorry for the double https://www.motor-talk.de/…/…dauto-via-bluetooth-t6570055.html?…

Blind Spot Assistant behaves suspiciously
Hello people, short introduction: After 1 polo and 3 gulf I became the brand “abtrünnig” and got me 3 weeks ago a new FR with the 1.5 l TSI engine. I like above all the look of the Arona, but also its good room layout. On the topic: Since a few days, quite exactly at 1,500 km it occurred to me for the first time. Before that however, I never drove so fast. Anyway, at 150, 160 km/h on the highway, the blind spot light in the driver’s exterior mirror first for c a. 3 seconds permanently on, after that it flickers extremely nervously for about 2 seconds and is quiet again. All this, although no vehicle drives far and wide, except mine of course. Does one of you know that? In addition, both blind spot lights, so left and right, go at the engine start for about 2 seconds, whereby I think this is a self-test and thus normal (?)

Battery charger with maintenance function – CTEC CT5 Start/Stop
Hello, the Arona TGI will winter in the underground car park, we are not there for six months. That’s why I’m looking for a battery charger with maintenance function and hit the CTEC CT5 Start/Stop. In addition, there’s even the possibility to connect the device to the battery by cigarette lighter. Prerequisite would be that the cigarette lighter in the Arona has permanent current. Does anyone know that? I don’t have anything to try this with at the moment. Then the charger could be in the interior, the cable would be dur ging not, the charger would have to lie outside, which would not be cheap in the large underground garage. Again a question: Is it possible to accommodate a charger with maintenance function in the engine room and still not leave the bonnet open invitingly? Thank you and kind greetings

Available engines
Hello together, who can tell me why there is no (more) the diesel engine with 116 hp in the Arona. At least I don’t find the engine in the configurator, but there are offers in the second-hand market with this engine. Thank you already in advance. Greeting Bernd
