Hello, after I had absolutely no problems with my Arona (06/2018) so far, the engine control light came up at exactly 50,000 km speedometer stand. Hello together, since yesterday the new Arona FR Beats is at the door and I am generally absolutely happy with the car. Unfortunately, one thing I don’t like so much: I have dealt with the media system a little bit today. Then the disillusionment came quickly. I had an Arona as a rental car the day before yesterday, before I picked up mine. The rental car had 2 SD-snacks, a CD-drive and a Navi, where the card looked high quality and just like a card. In my Arona I am now reminded of Android more than of a chic and modern media system, I can still hurt – but that you have saved the card slots, annoyed me a bit. Especially since the seller has still praised me with the “current software”. And I can’t see an advantage of saving for the customer even with the best will. My question is now primarily the following: Has someone tried to use the USB-C inputs a Me dium? Generally, there are adapters for SD cards on USB-C for a small appearance. Then at least a little help would be given to me and I could use the SD card as a medium for music again. AND: I have already read here that an eSim is installed in the vehicle. I was told during the sale that this service is free of charge. What does it cost from the 2nd year? Hello, my mother has had an Arona since March 2020. Great car! For about 3 months, however, already the 5th time that the airbag lamp concerns. Local workshop has no solution. 1. Visit what was done (what it was not known) – day later : lamp lights up 2. Visit, again what done, during the WEGFAHREN from the workshop yard : lamp on! 3. Visit, meanwhile the vehicle was parked at the workshop 5 weeks (against car rental), control unit allegedly defective, should be exchanged, was not 4th visit, after about 1-2 weeks again lamp on, brought there – 2 days later picked up: lamp lights up again after about 100 meters 5th visit: stands tomorrow, Seat is already integrated, it seems nobody knows what it could be. Workshop has no idea.. Does someone have such similar experiences here? How should you deal with such things? We are perplexed, my mother has already no desire for the car, and nobody currently has a solution. Change/return from the private leasing contract mögli ch? Looking forward to feedback. Thank you!

Hello together. I built in my brand new Arona 1.0 Tsi with factory built-in AHK preparation, a Brink AHK with i.e. Jäger electric kit. That was also not a big problem, only when testing no signal comes from the socket to the trailer. Originally I thought that when preparing from factory, everything is already unlocked. Before I take everything apart now to check the cable, I would like to know if it was due to the missing unlocking Does anyone have experience with it and even have an AHK installed in factory preparation ?

Hi, I will soon have to bring my new car (approval in mid-August, now 1000 km, 1.0 TSI 116PS) back to the dealer. This will probably make updates of the control units. My main problem is that after a few days the car will not go online in the underground garage (without reception) after the exit, but only after the reboot and engine start. This is reproducible. Hello, my father bought an Arona (about 3 years old). He has the beautiful digital cockpit and then a somewhat large main screen.
