Hello! I have the following problem: My Seat Arosa (BJ 99, MKB:ALL) is not getting really warm anymore. The temperature only rises up to approx. 70°, heating only warm. The thermostat and flange have already been changed twice (brand parts). The problem still exists! Does anyone have an idea what else it can be? If the water pump is defective, the measured temperature would have to be higher or not? Was also changed before 40,000 km with the timing belt. have had stasis? Thank you for your help!

Upgrade cruise control and MFA
Hello together, I play with the idea of retrofitting my Seat Mii BJ 2015 GRA and MFA. For this purpose I would like to estimate about the effort and the costs. If MFA is too expensive, I can do without it, GRA is more important to me. I would probably have to replace the power supply control unit, on the factory side is the “smallest” variant installed, which lacks the inputs for the switches/buttons on the steering stick levers. Is there something special to consider here? Or can I use any used control unit, with the matching part number (1S0 937 087??), pull out of the bay and simply install it? Does something have to be learned? And away from the tacho… Currently, I have to have the motor control unit and Tacho (wg. roadblock) which consists mainly of 7-segment digits – see photo. Can this tacho then also represent an MFA? Or do I also have to be replaced with the tacho then I would probably have to have to have the engine control unit and tacho (wg. roadblock) be taught to each other, but it is not necessary for me?

Aluminium wheels 15 inches
Hello to all, since yesterday I finally got rid of the old 155/70R13-steel rims all-weather tires by 195/50R15-wheels also replaced all-weather tires. Now I have three problems and ask for help Seat Arosa 1.0 MPI AUC end 2003 1- Acceleration: I notice at once that the car does not accelerate at all – as if I had a gear less . Usually it was like this at 2000 U/min: -First gear: up to 1–20 km/h -Second gear: 20–30 km/h -Third gear: 30–50 km/h -Fourth gear: 60–75 km/h But now I drive most of the time at 44 km/h in the fourth gear at 2000 U/min :\ When I speed up I turn almost at 3500–4000 U/min but still it feels very sluggish to me. Can bigger wheels really make such a big difference? They like almost as much as the old … Ps. On the highway without big incline I can’t be recorded with a slow acceleration of about 140 km.

Submersible hose
Hello everybody, I’m looking for answers here in the forum, but I don’t like it or I don’t understand it, it’s not impossible. 🙂 Seat Arosa 1.0 6H, built in 1998, 126.000 km (If further information is needed, I’ll be happy to fill it up.) On the situation: In the cold start everything runs great and it purrs and does what it should. As soon as it gets warm the idle problems I’ve already read here and elsewhere. At the intersection the speed drops. then often so deep that the engine runs out when I’m lucky it catches itself and then runs quietly on. To the solution which may not be possible: After consultation with the previous owner we have removed the right (from the front) thin vacuum hose that comes down from the air filter and see there, everything runs. Whether cold whether warm, the Arosa drives and the idle problems are forgotten. To the question: What is the function of this hose? What could be the real cause and what the better auxiliary e be? I would be very happy about tips or an explanation, at the moment I simply lack the idea where to start.

[Arosa] Prbleme after Werstatt stay with the idle
Dear community, today it’s not a problem with our Meriva but with our little Arosa. I had my Arosa dragged into the workshop on Monday because the coolant pump broke. They then renewed the pump and changed the timing belt. During the test drive they found out that the engine was running restlessly, and then looked there. In the ignition distributor what was broken, and then it was also changed, including spark plugs. Nu n I picked up the car yesterday from the workshop, drove about 2-3 km and then had to stop at a traffic light. The speed varies very strongly down until the engine went out. I started this again because I thought I made a mistake and at the next traffic light the same problem. Then I turned back to the workshop, drove into the hall, they then read out the error memory, and found nothing, the working mechanic then has a test drive made and could not notice anything. I am then again going, after a short time again the same problem I went again, he looked everything again if he had built something wrong together was not like that. He meant now I should drive around so for a few days, it would probably exist if not I should come over again. Did any of you have a similar problem? The following “repairs” were carried out: timing belts and water pump ripper belts Ignition vertebra Eileer spark plugs. Thanks for your help! Dear greeting Timo aka Linux

Seat Arosa 6H Speed fluctuations in progress
Hello dear Seat driver, we own a Seat Arosa 6H,Bj 1998,1.0l MPI Motor,50hp,Benzin. So far it was a (almost) super small car. Unfortunately we have now for longer the following problem. If the engine has operating temperature, it fluctuates with the speeds in the stand. For example at traffic lights, crossings etc. During the ride there is absolutely no problem. Occasionally he has it, which he even wants to go out in the stand. We have already renewed/tested the following: -compression übe rtest (13bar) -Renewed coolant sensor G62 -Renewed spark plugs -Renewed air filter -Renewed damper -Cleaned/adapted air volume meter -Renewed engine cleaner -Oil change including filter -Mass points cleaned in engine compartment -New Lima regulator installed -Battery checked -Zündverteiler cleaned -Zündkabel Voltage measured -Underpressure hoses checked -Error memory read out – no entries So slow I am at the end, and have no idea anymore. Who can me? help,or who knows this problem? Otherwise it’s a great weighing 🙂 Love greetings Björn

Arosa 1.0 doesn’t start after Frost
Last Friday, after the heavy frost, my oil lamp and the warning sound went on after which I had started the car in cold condition.Motor blocked off and off after a few seconds. After another attempt, the oil level was the same after 50 meters drive, then ADAC and off to home. Today, I thawed the car in the garage and made a start attempt. Result: engine just doesn’t turn on anymore. Since it turns I assume that since who can give me information about possible damage recovery caused by the frost. Thanks in advance. Experiences Arosa 1,0l
Hello, think about buying for my sister an Arosa 1.0 base 8/1998 with ABS with 82tkm for 4,100€ (dealer). What do I have to bear in mind when buying? How expensive is the soon due timing belt change? What have you done for experience with motor/gear? These engines have a problem with the “freezing” in winter during spa track operation. Is there anything retrofitted by VW/Seat on Kulanz, or do they only act in case of damage, as a Seat dealer told me? What does the 1.0 ltr. s consume? o on average (does a lot of highways run at 100 km/h)? Are there typical weak points? I am grateful for every answer! Greetings, Andy

VW up, Seat Mii, Skoda Citigo suspensions
Hello together, I am currently looking for a VW UP or a relative on second-hand car search. I noticed that some of them are offered ex-works with sports suspension. Now I would be very interested in which parts this differs from the standard suspension. Is it just a lowering? Or are sporty dampers installed? My friend has been driving the Mii for years which she has bought discreetly deeper from the dealer. If he owns one, I wouldn’t want a standard suspension in my future car. I’m looking forward to the answers. ps part numbers for the standard sports suspension would also interest me very much.

Rust rear axle VW UP
Hello Does anyone have problems with rust on the up rear axle? Up BJ. 2/2012 60 HP 150 OOO Km. Recently after a 200Km. motorway ride I got off and saw that the right rear wheel stood up about 5 cm inwards and let itself move back and forth with the hand. On the lifting platform one saw that on the rear axle to the right a weld seam was no longer available. Absolutely lifelike. VW probably saved at the wrong place. Thin material on the rear axle but thick salaries of the man Ager.
