Hello, I bought an Ibiza 1.9 TDI from 2007 with about147 tkm. What I notice: when I release the clutch in idle mode, it makes a “grinding” noise. It doesn’t jerk, at least I didn’t notice anything. I didn’t notice that at the test drive. I read, it can come from a defective two-mass swing wheel. Does anyone know something similar?

Ibiza 6L engine is no longer racing and starting
Hello, my son has a problem with his Ibiza 6L 1.4 75hp, year 2004: the engine has probably raced and raced strangely (bright audio file), did not pull out properly and then went out. Don’t jump any more and was dragged to the next workshop. They didn’t have time to see it yet. Is there still hope???

Dealer recommends oil changes after 2,500 kilometers… did you do that?
My dealer recommended that I change the motoroel after the start-up phase. According to his announcement, this makes sense after 2,500 kilometers. Is this really useful or is it just an attempt to use the workshop and take money? Did your dealer also point out to you when picking up a vehicle? I found nothing in the on-board book on the subject. Environmental pollution caused by Altoel (disposal etc.) if senseless unnecessary oil changes would have to be carried out then disk If 8 out of 10 new car owners let this be done, a lot of “altoel” comes together, which would actually be perfectly fine… In my opinion, an oil change in today’s new cars should not be necessary anymore, or do you actually have advantages? An extremely low oil consumption over the entire life of the vehicle perhaps? Or a longer life of the engine? Your opinion and experience in addition?

Encoding bending light for LED headlights
Moin together, I just read that the Ibiza with LED headlights does not have a turning light in the nebulas. But the polo has that. That can certainly be coded in Ibiza, right? The on-board net should be the same. Thanks and greeting of the “Stevie”

Battery constantly empty (although ok), but quiet current 600~800mA. Where is this current secretly drawn?
Hello, with our Ibiza 6J the battery is always empty. The charging voltage of the alternator is fine and the battery has been changed already. Nevertheless, the car is a few days, the battery is empty and the current is only enough to crack the starter, but no longer for turning. I have now measured the resting current, although really everything is switched off, the key is pulled off and all doors are closed, the car pulls between 0.6A~0.8A. If 600mA to 800mA are not vie I too much? Where is this stream being pulled secretly? MfG Chris

Start Stop not possible despite activation
At my Ibiza TGI, start-stop is activated. Nevertheless, every time I try to use it, I have the crossed-out sign on the display. No matter which consumers are on or how warm the engine is. Does anyone have an idea why?

Light switch defective?
Hello together, recently my wife bought a used Seat Ibiza 6J EZ 04/2011. Since we were still driving older models until then, we now have a problem with the driving or all-round light. If you put the key in the ignition lock, two “standlights” go on at the front (21Watt), taillights stay off. If I turn now at the rotary switch to the standlight, everything is all around dark. (I now pass the car function) Turn further to the dipped light, light up the Ablendlichte r and the rear lights incl. license plate lighting. With the old car, the floor lighting also lights up with the dipped-beam for safety if there is a light bulb broken from the dipped-beam. Now I wonder if the rotary switch is broken or is there a function with the newer vehicles somewhere we have not yet understood. Would be nice if someone had a usable idea. I unfortunately have no one in my environment who has a same car.

Oily/wet spark plugs 1.0 TSI
Hello all, I have a question about damp and oily spark plugs. During today’s change of spark plugs I noticed that all candles were heavily dirty and rather moist to oily, especially in the area of the thread. It is striking that all three spark plugs are evenly affected, which surprised me with a vehicle with only 30,000 km on the speedometer. It is probably still about the original candles. I have heard that such a vehicle This could possibly be due to an engine wash, which I did not do myself, but of course you don’t know if what was done before. I had excluded valve shaft seal or piston rings for myself because of the mileage. Does anyone know if you should worry about it and if you can do something about it?
