  • Unlock Leon 4 cropped functions

If you order the full LED headlights, you get exactly the same lamps as the Golf 8 with Matrix LED headlights. In combination with the front camera of the track holding assistant or traffic sign detection, you would have all the components together to use the Matrix function. Unfortunately, VW has decided not to support this option with Seat by software. Another example is the Elektromo This is the same for the Seat Leon e-Hybrid, Cupra Leon e-Hybrid, Golf 8 eHybrid and Golf 8 GTE. Since the burners are also the same for these models, the different system performance results only due to artificial locking by software. How likely do you think that the mentioned points can be unlocked by coding or the installation/exchange of control units afterwards? Thank you and many greetings.

  • Questions about Leon 5F (panoramic roof, infotainment Bluetooth, instrument cluster)

Hello together, would have a few minor questions about Leon. Even if the topic table doesn’t quite fit together (except that it’s about Leon), I didn’t want to open my own thread for each topic. Thank you for your help and many greetings.

  • Leon Hybrid Brakes

Hello guys, I have had the Leon Hybrid for a month and get angry about the brakes. Since delivery, the rear brakes grind easily but audiblely when starting and then again quite neatly at the end of the braking path until standstill. I am not an expert to provide an expertise on brake discs, but the appearance of the discs looks at least suspicious. In my home there is unfortunately only one Audi service, which also makes Seat. The employee said that the rust is there. The problem is known with hybrids, the rear brakes would hardly be used for soft braking, therefore the rust. I should have a while of strong brakes on occasion, that would solve the problem after a while. Seat would never replace the brakes in my life. Does anyone have the same problem? Do the discs look fine? Can the explanation of the friendly person be used to describe the brakes. The Commission’s position is as follows:

  • Seat Leon 1.4 TSI Style Purchase Advice.

Good day, unfortunately a couple of days ago my VW Polo 1.2 stopped with engine damage on highway, that’s it. Now I am looking for a new car. I am very interested in Seat Leon 1.4 TSI Style, BJ 2011. The car has already driven 110TKM, 2nd owner and the car is just standing at the dealer. The car is accident-free, 125 hp, gasoline. HU is until December 2021, but is probably made new, as the dealer said. Summer tires only with and with Navi. Car costs 4700 euros, but since the dealer is and the seats are pretty broken, the price will be a bit lower. Is it worth it or is it not worth it? If there are still questions about the car, please get in touch and I will answer them immediately.

  • Consumption ST eTSI

Hello, I’ve been driving my ST 1.5 eTSI for 4 months now and, apart from the countless software problems, I’m very satisfied. I’d be interested in what you have for an average consumption with the car/motor??I barely get over 570km with a tank filling and my consumption is always between 8.7 and 9.0L. I drive 80% in the city. Greetings and a nice party I wish.

  • 3 different workshops and coolant loss is still not fixed

Good morning your car expert, Slowly I get impatient as the damage has still not been found and the used car warranty is over in July. We bought the Leon in July 2019 at Seat in Hanover, since that already attracts… Our Leon 2.0TDI, 150hp, EZ 2013, km stood 143500 has coolant loss. 3 workshops have already tried to find out without having to find out (seat and 2 free) in response I get to continue driving and watching. Seat h at on guarantee the coolant container lid replaced from blue to black. This pushes the coolant out of the container (overpressure valve) only if you have longer distances on the AB or in summer when the engine is relatively hot. In winter we only have to refill once and that is after a 3 hour highway ride. In summer I have to fill about every 2 weeks after. I never filled up the coolant over max and always with cold engine. I hope that I do it so halfway Thank you for your help LG Florian

  • Buy a car with expertly repaired wild damage?

Hello together, should I buy the Leon with recovered wild damage? The car costs about 15,000€, has 42000 km and EZ at the end of 2016. According to seller the damage was at the front. Bumper, headlights and fog lights were repaired/changed and cooling water pump was exchanged on guarantee. Rest guarantee until 10/2021 available. Everything was repaired by the contract workshop and all invoices are available. Actually it is my dream car; equipment, color. I want the car e I’m still relatively young (21 years old) and it would be my second car, so I’d be happy for your experience and advice. Thank you.

  • Navigation for Leon 3 (5F), built in 2020 retrofitting

Attention: my daughter bought a SEAT LEON (built in 2020) 2-3 weeks ago. The equipment also listed “navigation system”. In the operation it turned out that the car has NO navigation system, but GoogleMap should/can be used by the mobile phone via MirrorLink. I advised her to become a lawyer, but the consumer center advised her not to do so. That was only by the way. She was just at a SEAT dealer and on her question one said that a Navigati onsystem costs 3,000 (three thousand) euros!!!!! I thought I fell off the chair… Now the question arises: is there on the market from third-party manufacturer a car radio, which fits in 1.) In Leon 2.) The other SEAT functions allows 3.) Also the steering wheel keys included 4.) Navigation system (e.g. Android) works, as well as hands-free, etc.. Does anyone have experience there? Thank you, Laco

  • Buying advice Seat Leon E-Hybrid 204 hp vs 245 hp

Because of my track profile (about 80% of all routes are less than 50 km and faster than 120 km/h you should not drive with us anyway) a PHEV would be quite ideal. I could charge it in the underground car park at least at a normal outlet. To choose from would be a Seat Leon E-Hybrid 204 hp or a Seat Leon Cupra 245 hp. The latter has more juice, but at the VW Golf I had read that the 204 hp variant both for the Benz in as well as the battery would be the more economical version. In the two listed seats the 204 hp version would be better equipped.
