Hello, I have installed a new car radio in my Seat Leon (EZ 02/2005, 1.6L petrol, engine code BCB). It works perfectly in the stand – but as soon as I leave, the message “Begin reverse” appears on the display, as if I were inserting the reverse gear. This turns the radio into the return mode, and I can hardly use it while driving. I don’t think it’s on the radio itself, but rather on an electrical signal that comes wrongly from the vehicle. t. I bought a second-hand Seat Leon and recently installed a new radio. Unfortunately, the speakers are not very good. In the trunk flap speakers have already been installed, as there are corresponding recesses there. Now I would also install some there, but I am not sure which speakers I need exactly. In the trunk itself there are several cables, as can be seen on the photos. In addition, there are two audio cables. in the dashboard, where the radio is connected. Does anyone know what the other cables are for and whether I need an amplifier in addition? I’m not looking for anything special, but just reasonable speakers for some music in the car. I bought a paint thickness measuring device yesterday out of pure curiosity (no professional product) and tried it out at my (Leon 5F) Golf 7 from my brother and at my sister’s T-Roc. Always were values of 0.23-28mm (230-280 micrometers). The Mercedes R class from the colleague for example, had only 0.11-18mm paint thickness everywhere. My question, has someone tried it on his own at his Seat, VW? I find it a lot, because you always hear that new cars should have between 10-180 micrometers. My, as well as the other cars have been new cars and so I exclude accident or after painting. What is your assessment about this?

Hello, who has experience with the keyless access system in the new Leon? It only works in ours when it’s in the mood. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and that’s really super annoying! Strangely enough, it only works reliably with the tailgate. On the two front doors it is a gamble and often enough you stand there, like a jerk, because you first have to grope around the door handles and then get the key out. Is that also the case with you, or is it a mistake or a user ochler? But a lot can’t be done wrong, right? I can rule out sources of interference in or on the car, as the problem occurs everywhere.
