Moin! With us a new car is due and after a few things back and forth, model comparison etc. we landed again at the Seat Leon Kombi 5F. We just like it most and our old Leon was already a reliable vehicle. Now I read that the used prices are currently up fast. Chip lack, delivery times with the new cars etc. Well – you buy now? Do you know how much the Leon 5F is affected? Vll. has someone bought one last year and can the P The next question would be – bite into the sour apple, even if there is a 10% increase? Because I think the situation is not relaxing so quickly due to the digitalization and the high chip demand. We can not wait 2 years either, since our old Leon is already 15 years old. At Mobile there are at least a few left. My first investigations show that the price drop is currently not exponential, but rather linear – We would rather reach for a newer model, ll. only 1-2 years old. For 20,000 € +/- you get already a well equipped FR station wagon. What do you think about it? Or is it worth buying a completely new car at the moment, because the new prices are not so far above it. I still lack the feeling. I have not negotiated any new car prices yet. Buying my mind is necessary. only that I like to save the “first” loss of value.

Air conditioning is not running
Hello I have a seat leon 1P with 1.6 liter engine and 102 ps. the climate did not cool, so I drove today to fill up. 410 gram were inside and 535 gram were replenished. according to stickers in the engine room belong 525 gram plus/minus 25 gram pure. so everything should. after the system was filled up, however, it did not cool either. the mechanic said that the compressor did not turn along. now my question: – where is the associated safety? in the operating instructions I couldn’t find anything. – did the air conditioning system have a relay? if yes, where is this? Note: the control light at the air conditioning switch lights. a error readout brought 0 errors to light. read out with a standard obd tester. the engine runs in stand at about 600 turns. I switch on the climate, the speed goes up so about to 750. I am with my Latin at the end. does someone have a advice for me? recently the wedge belt on the autobahn has flown away. this was replaced, he i so new. thank you in advance greeting hans

Current TSI engines in Leon durable?
One question for the specialists: are the engine problems with the current TSI engines in the VW Group still outstanding or do you still have to be careful or better resort to a diesel? I am particularly interested in the gasoline engines installed in the current Leon models. Thank you.

125PS FR or 150PS Xcelence
Hello Seat community, coming from the VW camp, I consciously chose Seat Leon ST. The price-performance ratio is just better… I would like to know your opinion. I have to choose between a Leon ST FR as 125hp or a Leon ST Xcelence 150hp. The equipment is similar, but the FR looks just better from my point of view. The Xcelence in turn offers more equipment for the same money (more assistants, blinds back-> good for the child and the FR not available, Kessy) and I can order the 150hp because it fits in budget. The question is: optics or performance? Besides, I suspect that the FR is 15 mm lower than the Xcelence and therefore have my concerns if the Xcelence is not a bit high with its 17-inch wheels…? Thank you for your opinion

Drive profiles
Good afternoon, I am now for about 4 weeks proud owner of a new Seat Leon xperience 1.8 TSI DSG. So far I am very pleased with the car. However, the behavior of the driving profile setting bothers me. This topic has already been scratched in this thread: https://www.motor-talk.de/…/…spontaneous-gas adoption-t5043345.html?… That the driving modes of the engine or the gearbox with cold engine from S to D is understandable, in terms of wear. Nevertheless, I think that The following 2 reasons: 1. The motor is set back to normal in any case, even if previously e.g. Eco o. Comfort was selected. The funny thing is that the driving profile button still lights orange, as if a profile was selected. When pressing the button, the previous profile is also marked. Of course, the other question is whether the chassis or steering is working according to the mode displayed in the menu. 2. when the switch lever of the motor is switched from D to S but the fahrrofil in the menu remains normal and the button continues to glow red. Looks as if only the modes of the motor is switched. That was now a lot of text I hope I could bring it over intelligibly. I am already looking forward to the discussion Mfg woodental

Buying advice Seat Leon Xcellence – what’s missing here?
I am looking for a well-equipped Leon FR or Xcellence for a maximum of €20,000 and I came across this ad:https://suchen.mobile.de/…/246771093.html?action=parkItem What do you say about the price? I think the offer is good. The extension of the warranty can certainly still be installed when you buy it? The only thing I “miss” is the black roof sky. Or is it always with the Xcellence models?

Purchase decision.
Hello , I’m relatively new here anyway in the Seat Forum. Since I’m currently looking for a car purchase and I really like the Leon I have to ask you what to choose from is a 1.4 act with 150 ps bj 6/2017 with the How satisfied are you with this engine and how vulnerable is this one? To the dsg the same it is the 6 or 7 gear transmission? Currently this 9000 km has run and looks top. The 2. Is a 1.8 Tsi with 180 ps and 7 gear dsg bj 6/2017 with 11000km When would the engine be the le He would have to have timing belts now.How stable are the motor and transmissions. What are your experiences with the 2017 edition. So many will certainly not drive yet. LED headlight experiences? Bright and good or not worth mentioning. Thank you for your answers.

Leon 1P 1.4 16V continue or new purchase?
Hello dear forum, The above mentioned topic concerns me again… I’m currently driving a Seat Leon 1p with 1.4 liters of 86 hp, the car is from 2009, currently at approx. 76tkm. I’m actually satisfied with the car, he would have just not had so damn little power. If the car were a bit more splashy, I wouldn’t think about another one… I have to say that I’ve never had a car with something like driving fun. The 86Ps of my current Leons are already here the spearhead. Now my question is whether it is worth thinking about a new vehicle at all? A new Leon costs as I would like it to be about 20k €. Alternatively, I can continue driving the Leon (again) and be annoyed… Very difficult decision, I know 🙂
