  • Mirror housing dropped by wind ?

Hello , when I went to my Seat Leon today lay my mirror housing driver side next to my car. The mirrors had not been folded.Today it is also quite windy outside with us, so it can be that the housing has made itself thereby “loose” or must I rather expect that someone might have to tear them down willingly ? At the car is nothing to see, Blinker also works mirror housing lying on the road has some scratches now and is fortunately also not a uf the road rolled.. means I could mount again. Has anyone ever had such a similar case ? Am somehow confused

  • Buy Seat Leon / Inspections

Hello together, we have decided to buy a Seat Leon 1.8 TSI + DSG. But are we not yet sure whether day registration (20 km) or a used car (1J / 25,000 km). The price difference makes around 3,000 EURO with comparable equipment. Here we are torn back and forth what is better. On the one hand, 3,000 EURO is a lot of money, on the other hand you know with the quasi new car also really that it was not abused before. What do you think about it? What we definitely want to do is extend the connection guarantee at Seat to 5 J (unfortunately later and therefore a little expensive, but ok). A question that asks us, which inspections expect us in the near future with the two variants. On the Internet I researched the first inspection at 30,000 km, but also read in forums that after 1,000 km an oil change is required. S The dealer offers us the first inspection at 30,000 km for 550 EUR, I assume that this is a bad offer or not? Thank you for your assessments.

  • No oil specification Petrol manual from 2018

Hello, My Leon has to go to the first service after 2 years including oil change. It is built in 4/2018. I wanted to switch to fixed intervals and drive 5w40 oil. In my manual (11/2017) there is the standard 50400 at a fixed interval which is but 5w30. The standard 50200 does not exist which contains the 5w40 oils. In the manual 11/2016 it is still in it. And in the manual 7/2018 and later there is nothing more for petrolers. Have they forgotten this? So according to my manual ic h then no 5w40 drive with 50200 standard. Thought that always works. What do you say about it? Ask dealers?

  • Straight steering wheel

Moin moin, I thought, I share my experience with a lean steering wheel from delivery here also again. I had picked up my Cupra 290 on 22.04. in WOB. On the return trip (largely highway) I noticed that if I drive exactly straight, the steering wheel stands so at 11:58. After a few more rides/days it was always noticeable to me, so sometimes to the dealer and on the internet asked. I do not seem to be the only one. The dealer had probably already had already I was then remeasured yesterday and so. Since I am not at home myself, I only got a scan of the survey by e-mail. I could not drive myself yet. (Protocol is attached) How can this be done that the values are not correct from the factory? I still noticed that the follow-up was apparently not perfectly adjusted or maybe not perfectly adjusted. I have to ask that again, whereby the follow-up was not completely adjusted. run is actually not soo critical. At least related to wheel wear, steering wheel position,…

  • Purchase advice: Seat Leon Kombi from 2016?

Hello all, my current car (Ford Focus, 2002 BJ, 202000 km) is unfortunately becoming more and more uneconomic, so I think about buying a new car. Since Leon like me is a rather nice little station wagon, I thought about it. I drive about 30000 km a year, friends and hobby due to a lot of highway. What I want is a gasoline that I can drive for a long time. Tempomat is important to me and it should also be able to drive faster (around the 220 would be great). My budget is c a. 18.000 euros. Now I have looked at mobile and saw that unfortunately there are not many Leons up to the budget. I also heard of a steering chain problem that often led to the problem with relatively young engines, however, this should extend to the whole VW family. Does anyone know from which model, respectively BJ, this is no longer available? Is the car useful for the purpose, or did I now let myself be misled by the Internet and friends? D Anke! • Seat Leon Cupra 370

I have to ask you now: SEAT Leon CUPRA ST 370 order nowABT performance increase to impressive 370 hp Limited edition of only 225 units The Leon ST CUPRA 370 available from CHF 52’450 Seat has picked up a tuner that solves this via an additional control unit. With 370 hp and 460 NM and without adjusting the DSG and other accessories. So additional control units lie to the MSG, only characteristic field optimization is good, write the MSG optimizations. How do you see this? How who misses his car a tuning is cheating and harms the car manufacturer and the next customer, your DSG flies right around your ears and so on. Probably everything belongs to it. I would be interested above all in how Seat does not adapt to the MSG but to choose an additional control unit! Maybe you have information or ideas.

  • High beam assistant experience

Moin,Moin, I wanted to ask you how satisfied you have been with the main-beam assistant since and how your experience with other road users is? I have the feeling as if it turns off the remote rather too late and thus the oncoming traffic is dazzled.Even though I drive relatively rarely with an Assi. however, then I have the problem that I always turn on vehicles because of this. Is there anything there because of the sensitivity of the t at the camera eye at Seat? I know that the driving beam Assi. is controlled by the camera in the disc, maybe a possibility to adjust something there, similar to the emergency brake assistant. Thank you.

  • SEAT Leon Cupra ST 290 DSG Exhaust gas system and push-off

Hello dear community, I am now proud owner of a SEAT Leon ST Cupra 290 and think about doing a little bit of sound. I want to make one of them a bit louder and more toxic, but the system should be visually inconspicuous, high-quality and also no problem for the TÜV. I want to deactivate the push-off, I am aware that you do not get this registered and some companies offer the push-off only in certain Do you have any tips, suggestions or experiences?

  • 1.4 TSI vs 2.0 TDI Shelf life / Recommendation

Hello, I am currently looking for a used Seat Leon ST FR BJ >= 2015 (optimally FL model) with max. 60tkm. I have come to the complex question 2.0 TDI (150hp) or 1.4 TSI (150hp) for me, as my overhead line is about 25tkm per year. Are the running costs (according to autokostencheck.de) at a very similar level. Since the >= 2015 models all meet the Euro 6 standard I have (at least up-to-date ) no concerns regarding driving At the moment I drive a Scirocco with the old control chain 1.4 TSI which after 4 years of suffering also raises serious concerns when buying a 1.4er again (even if it is of course a different engine now). Since the purchase prices are also very similar with low mileage, the decision for me currently actually depends on the durability of the engines. I already have something in the net (and of course only a few of them). ch here in the forum) and find no big outliers for both engines. What do you think about the durability? Are you faced with the same decision or was it not a question for you from the beginning for other reasons?
