  • Conditions Seat “Cash Your Ex” bonus? – Dealers push around!?

I have a question about the current Seat “Cash Your Ex” award for the Leon of €3700. How exactly are the conditions? I have asked a few new cars about mobile.de at dealers and each time I have the feeling that they don’t come with the whole truth or push around. In the end they claim that the cash payment premium Cash Your Ex applies only to the list price and because they do not write out their cars at the list price, but already with R abatt, the premium does not apply or some say something like that would already be included. But it is ridiculous that the cars with discounts are advertised by the 15-20%, that exists already without payment premium without problems about the mediators like apl etc….even more. Why should I then also give my car in payment for it? Therefore, I think that there is not brought out with the whole truth. Can someone say something about it or knows the complete Bedin I have of course calculated: xx% (e.g. 24% according to apl) on the list price and then deducted an additional 3700€. Isn’t that correct? But I think it should be like that, otherwise it wouldn’t make any sense to give a car in payment, if you didn’t get away better with it.

  • New Seat Leon ST brought – First steps

Hello all, we got the Seat Leon ST in the configuration as attached. A few considerations/questions – price was probably ok (23k); – do I have to pay for the LTE connection? – built at the end of December 2020, first registration at the end of January (EU vehicle), can I have hopes for the new MIB3 with Android Auto Wireless? – I am an absolute geek about smartphones etc, so I will also look here at firmware updates – which run if I see it right OTA, right? – Tachostand is one-digit, don’t heat your first 1000 kilometers – is that a myth or something? Anything else to consider before we pick up the vehicle tomorrow? 😉 Cheers L

  • Detect early signs of defects during test drive DQ200 DSG transmission

  • Seat Leon Cupra 280 DSG

Hello all, I just sold my loyal first car (Golf VI 122PS Highline). Now I’m standing in front of the step for a new car. The look has been on a Seat Leon Cupra 280 SC DSG for about 2 years. I’ve already tried the car and was really excited. Now I have some questions: Customer Service costs? Known problems? Is the Cupra recommended? Different Media System Plus and Media System? Is the DSG recommended? What do the people who already say the car (Comfort, wear, consumption ..) I would get a cupra for 23,750 € with 30,000km (Media Plus, sound system, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, Navi, seat heating, DAB, light/rain sensor. PDC front and rear) Is that too expensive? I really liked the GTI performance, but it is much more expensive than a cupra with us (92) .. Would I really appreciate your help 🙂

  • Battery key empty again

Hello together This morning I wanted to get into my Seat Leon 2.0 TDI 2017, but the door didn’t open. Since I had to work, I used the spare key. Before I could change the battery of the main key and it now works again. The same thing happened to me quite exactly 6 months ago in a parking garage at night. The towing service had to come because I got into the car, but with the start button the car could not start. Wi e does it look like the battery life for you? In addition, it should be pointed out to the driver in the instrument cluster that he should change the battery soon? With me it was not the case twice. Greetings Lukas

  • Exhaust sound Seat Leon FR 1.4 TSI

Hello together! We would like a new car and have taken the Seat Leon ST FR as our favorite. Have found a day registration in mind with a good equipment for about 25.000€. I have now only a question regarding the exhaust At the R line of VW was only paid attention to the pure optics and out of the tubes comes nothing. Is it the same with the Leon or does it have a sound that fits to the sporty rest of the car? Logically not to compare with the sound of the Cupra but at least Thank you in advance for your answers. V.R.

  • Which rims fit my Leon?

Hello forum, bought a Leon St last weekend, in black. He stood there on summer bikes. I negotiated that I get new winter tires on the Alus(Winterfest) and the summer rubbers in the trunk are included( Sind Michelin sport, 2 of 2019 with very good profile, 2 of 2017 with almost 6mm profile) Now I need aluminium rims for the summer and the offer kills me. What I don’t want to know, completely black rims. We don’t see any difference to cheap wheel caps or steel rims from a distance. I don’t know what size. 17 or 18 inches. I get a few suggestions here. What are you driving on your black Leons like? Would be very grateful for your advice. Here is a picture of my future and of rims that I like fast.

  • Consumption of summer tyres

Hello all, I have been the owner of a Seat Leon ST (2018) with the 1.4 TGI engine since last week. I picked up the car in Munich with winter tyres (205 and R16) and drove about 400km home on the highway with an average consumption of 3.6kg/100km at 135kmh cruise. On Friday I put on my summer tyres from the old car (225/35/R19) and drove almost 200km highway on the weekend. I expected some extra consumption, but so much??? Still have the original summer tyres from Seat with 225 tyres and 17 inches. Do you think that would consume less, despite the same tire width? Would it be worth buying a 205 summer tire? Maybe a few TGI drivers can tell me your experiences with consumptions with 17 inches of 225 summer tires. Thank you already! I will drive a lot of highways in the future and then I will be able to drive it makes a big difference in the long term whether I consume 3.5kg/100km or almost double.

  • What shock absorbers?

Seat Leon 1.8 TSI FR, Bj2013. I would like to change all shock absorbers with dome bearing. The part number for the rear axle can be easily seen in the photo. This is a bit difficult for the rear axle, but I could decipher it by comparing it in the ETKA.https://nemigaparts.com/en/cat_spares/etka/seat/le/754/411000/ rear axle: 5Q0512011HHH Front axle: 5Q0413031FH If I now enter the divider with e.g. autodoc, then there are 4 manufacturers left and for Sachs this damper is then the Right: https://www.autodoc.de/sachs/14922297 But I don’t want Sachs dampers but Bilstein and below that I can’t find them with the part number. I have to trust the filter from Autodoc. Two dampers from Bilstein are recommended to me: https://www.autodoc.de/bilstein/9129438https://www.autodoc.de/bilstein/13653383 The first one is Multi-Link axle and the second rigid axle. Which one suits my car when you look at the Sachs above with the original part number? Be I don’t understand anything anymore. Actually I ask that because I would like to buy such a mega set of dampers, dome bearings and dust protection on ebay. According to autodoc the dampers do not fit under the link. According to the ebay list already. https://www.ebay.de/itm/403924971805 On the front axle I measured the outer diameter of the damper and that is 55. What do you think? Should I buy this set or not?

  • Rims / tires for winter – please for support

Hello together, I recently bought a Leon ST, which is currently still on summer bikes at the dealer’s. The weather is slowly becoming wintery and I need suitable tyres accordingly. Because of the rideability in winter I tend actually to 17 inch winter complete wheels. However, I lack the experience, which rim/tire combination is best. Could one also take VW complete wheels for Golf 7 and simply exchange hub cap for one of Seat? How are your Erf What tyres or rims are recommended for Leon? I would be very grateful for your advice.
