  • False statements when buying a car

Hello all, I bought a car at Autohaus X not even 2 months ago. Has Ez 08/20 and at the time about 25,600 km on it? Did the seller ask extra about the tires and brakes, he said everything was still top. Brakes would have probably still 60-70%. Tires would be also good, from KW 18 from 21. Was the days in the workshop at the same car house but in another store. Tires are totally unevenly run off on the inside, you could only see so properly on the lifting stage, therefore he starts to vibrate correctly from 100km/h in the interior. When stepping hard into the brake it squeals very loudly, according to the service consultant, because metal sands on metal what should not be, leftover coverings would probably only be for max 2000-3000km. So according to him disks and dumps were due in front. Statement of him: So a joke is not yet happening within 2 months. I am really speechless and I don’t know what to do. In 3 weeks I have an appointment where I bought it. So expensively I have to keep the tires, so I have to keep quiet.

  • Seat 1P Year of construction 2005 no longer starts – broken cable discovered

Hello, I drive a Seat Leon 1P, built in 2005 with 102 hp. Unfortunately I have a problem at the moment: the old lady no longer starts. When I checked the engine compartment, I noticed a broken cable that looks like a ignition cable at first glance. Now I ask myself: Can it be because the car doesn’t start? And if so, how difficult is it to replace the cable itself? Do I need special tools for this or should I rather go directly to the workshop? Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Purchase advice Leon ST 2.0 TDI

Hello, I’m looking for a Leon ST FL with at least 150 hp and preferably FR and automatic. Since I drive 10-15tkm per year, a diesel is considered. In addition, I also appreciate that a diesel will last longer. Or am I wrong? Are there big differences between the 150 and 184 hp versions (carriage, transmission, etc)? Is the engine the same and the difference exists only in the engine control? This could possibly be changed by chip tuning or is the thought too simple? I’ve already read a lot negative about the automatic transmission in Leon but don’t know which one is installed here. Is this recommended in the 2.0 TDI?

  • Seat Leon ST as company car 39k

Hi together, I currently have to configure a new company car. Unfortunately, the specifications are not exactly horny due to the current prices, maybe you have a few tips: default: 39k diesel (da 40k km a year) white Currently I drive a 2019er Skoda Octavia, 2.0TDI 150PS, manual circuit, seat heating and ACC (at that time 32k€). In the optimal case the new one should have no less equipment than the old one. Here two variants with automatic and once switch: SXMJJFRF SJVRQPX5 SX62J7RC Is the F R really, unusable without DCC, many think he would be too hard. Had one for the test drive and that was totally fine. I don’t know if the DCC had any experience with Beat’s system? Is that worth it or rather the 750€ for some fancy 18 customs?

  • Need urgent help tires at pickup

Hello people, at the end of this month (30.01) it’s finally time. I can pick up my new Leon in WB. But now I have the following problem: I travel by train (tickets are already booked at great conditions) and I am extremely unsure about the tires. The car is delivered on summer tires, however, it may be that at the end of the month there is snow in WB. I can take the tires badly in the train…. ts in the garage. What would you do? Would you drive with the summer tyres (come from near Mönchengladbach) and hope for good luck without incident or how would it be done? Is my first new car and therefore also the first pick-up in WB. Thank you in advance.

  • Need help! leon 1.6 tdi or 1.2 Tsi

Hello together Attention, I have no idea of cars. …just so in advance I want to buy a new (used, annual car or similar) car. Somehow everyone tells me something different. I drive 20000 km a year for work (almost only motorway) and then still private something. The Tsi allegedly consumes 4.9 l and has a 6. course. Is this also so with the consumption when I drive on the highway 140? Is this the 6. course good? Or do I have to drive with the tsi 100 to the catalog consumption to come? Or does the diesel make more sense because it has a bigger machine? I hope I have made myself understood?? I would be very happy about your help

  • Short distance in winter / oil reaches no operating temperature

Hello municipality, as the title already says, I have the “problem” that the oil of my vehicle in everyday use (working distance) does not get warm due to the too small distance. Currently (at 10 degrees outside temperature) the oil comes at 12km working distance on about 80 degrees. On the way to work I reach hardly any speeds greater than 90km/h at 80% country and 20% city. Now I ask myself whether this can be bad for the engine in any form? Especially in winter fall Some trips away where the FZ is moving even longer distances. Let’s assume that the FZ is moving in the worst case for two weeks at a time. I know this from my father’s big diesel (BMW 335d) where the injectors are coked due to the many short distances and that has led to repairs of 4,000 euros. I don’t know if this can happen now with a gasoline truck. I would like to take care of it.

  • Seat Leon Cupra 280 DSG

Good morning dear community, I’ve been looking at a lot of different models in the last few weeks. Among other things, I’ve been looking at the S3 and the car above, but the S3 is probably a price category too high ;-). I’d like to buy a Seat Leon Cupra 280 DSG in the coming weeks and have a few questions or would like to hear your opinions on this. 1) The Seat with the 2.0 TSI (originally GTI engine) has 280 hp, what is the consumption i. d.R? Let’s assume that you are mainly travelling in the city and on the country road. I would also be interested in the consumption on the motorway. 2) I haven’t seen a Seat Leon Cupra with Kessy yet, so the possibility that you can start the car with the start button like the Audi, don’t they? 3) 280 hp are quite a lot for a 2.0 TSI engine, isn’t that too extreme? So is this an engine that you can keep for 5,6.7 years? Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank you very much.

  • Cupra 280: After holiday problems with exterior mirror

Hello forum, my Cupra 280 DSG stood around for three weeks (holidays). Now I have the problem that I can no longer fold the outside mirror with the key remote control and open the windows no more. However, it goes up and close. In BC I have mirror flaps active. I also noticed that the red LED of the alarm system in the door lights permanently. I mean to remember that the otherwise flashes (but I can also remember wrongly). Does someone have an idea what Is that where it could be going?

  • Super gasoline in the Leon ST Cupra 300 4drive

Hello, I expect a Seat Leon St Cupra 300 4drive (non-binding delivery in October). According to Seat, the power and consumption data refer to Super Plus, but you can also refuel normal super gasoline (E10) if you have low power input (source: brochure). I have a few questions that you might be able to help me with: 1. Is there a lasting influence on the engine when driving with super gasoline? 2. Is super gasoline more or less used with super gasoline? Is there anything special about this topic during the start phase (1500km)? 4. What are your experiences with Super/Super Plus in the Cupra? Thank you in advance!
