  • Thule roof box on Tarraco

Hello forum, can someone tell me if the Thule Motion 900 XXL fits on the Tarraco? From the dimensions (front carrier position to box back) this is just a few milimeters too tight. But on 3-4mm it can’t really happen with such a thing. Does anyone have any experience with the big box on the Tarraco?

  • Consumption Tarraco PHEV

Good evening together, I once created a separate thread for the consumption of the Tarraco e-Hybrid, because otherwise the pure Tarraco PHEV thread becomes too confusing or everyone writes something there on a different topic, but there is no connection between the topics anymore. So, now a thread for the consumption: I drove with my Tarraco delivered just two weeks ago so far 680 km. So far I have a consumption of 4.3 l/100km and 12.2kWh/100km according to the on-board computer. The consumption is as expected very different depending on the usage scenario. In advance: I charge the Tarraco whenever and wherever it goes and thus get the maximum possible for me out of the operation. Especially on the long distance this may be ok for a gasoline engine. For a PHEV I find this a little weak, because I expected more from the PHEV or full hybrid mode. My father drives a Ford Kuga Ecoboost BJ20 with 150hp (either PHEV/Mild/Full Hybrid) and comes on a similar basis. Although I look at the consumption values of the Ford Kuga PHEV, the Seat seems to be much weaker here with similar weight and performance data. Thus, I notice that the Ford Kuga PHEV tries to drive electric as often as possible when using the automatic hybrid mode. Seat, on the other hand, seems to rely primarily on the petrol engine and does not use the electric mode often/consequently enough. o completely in hybrid mode, he does not try to drive the battery completely empty, but still leaves something over. Ford does this differently/better. They drive the battery relatively strongly empty and then try to make progress mainly in hybrid mode. Let’s see. I’m going 280 km back with almost empty battery. I don’t want to drive faster than 120 km/h. Let’s see what the consumption (this time mainly in full hybrid mode) will say now. How are your experience value e? My somewhat higher consumption may also be related to the fact that the vehicle is still in a “entry mode” (no idea if it has programmed such a thing).

  • Seat Tarraco Codes VCDS

Dear Forum municipality, since 15.06 we welcome our Seat Tarraco FR with full equipment in delfin grey. On 14.06 our son was born and now also our Tarraco can be fully tested ๐Ÿ˜€ I have already done a few small codings myself, since I have already gained some experience with my Leon in it. Currently however, I am easily overwhelmed and asked to find the appropriate coding for the Infinite Light. This is only possible at dusk or in the dark and I would like to unlock it in general during the day. Does someone have an idea and know what value has to be adjusted for it? Generally, the topic of coding is a little mau here and could be refreshed again. I am also happy to help other users from the Mรผlheim an der Ruhr area with codings and to take them on site ๐Ÿ™‚ Listen gladly and am grateful for the help.

  • Tablet holder FR seats

Today was the first handcrafting lesson for the project tablet holder with the FR seats with integrated headrest. After we have our Tarraco now for 4 days and my girls absolutely want to have a holder I thought about how to implement it. I cut 4 woods that fit exactly into the opening from both sides. That is quite tricky. In the front wooden clasps rampamuffs are used for the later screws. Everything is still with leather as well. The tablet holder is then screwed with the two blocks. Due to the conical shape of the hole in the seat you can screw the two blocks firmly. I have at the moment only bolted the blocks with 2 spax for testing. That holds already bomb-proof.

  • Let’s tear the rear brakes

Has anyone already observed that the T. has to get rid of itself after several days of standing when starting? With my T it bangs sometimes violently before the brakes are free and the car starts to move in a jerky way. I had the phenomenon with a passat, here the result was that the brake covers at the rear side (namely only the two inner ones) wear off. Also the discs were damaged. The rear brakes had to be completely renewed…. after approx. 8000 km..

  • Seat Drive App / Unfavorable driving

Hello together, in the last days the Seat Drive app has installed and allowed to run more often during the ride. When I look at the last route in the app after I finished driving, I see an analysis of my driving method. These include the points Eco, predictive driving, braking, idle and steering. Yesterday I drove e.g. very economical and emotional. On curvy and mountainous track approx. 5,8l/100 KM consumption according to onboard computer. So really very gentle, forward looking and spa rsam. The app rated this ride with 92/100 Eco points, 100/100 forward-looking driving, brakes 54/100, idle 100/100 and 87/100 steering. What amazes me is the 54/100 points when braking. On the map view, the app shows me at which points I lost the points. In some places it shows: “Little efficient braking brake procedure not appropriate” and “Unfavorable driving mode on curvy track”. What exactly this means, and what I have to change about It is also interesting that the app shows a consumption for the distance of 8,48 liters/100 KM (!) but the on-board computer only 5,8 liters. Something is not right. The app is actually only “playing”, and not really helpful for me. I would be interested, however, how the app comes to the points. By the way, if I drive the track with ACC, I am in all points at least 95/100 points, although the ACC not as forward looking as I do, and not so emotionally dealing with the gas. The consumption is then about 6,2-6.5 liters/100KM according to BC. So more points, but also more consumption than when I drive myself. Does anyone understand this??? ๐Ÿ™‚ Greeting

  • Multiple total failure of digital displays in Tarraco Cockpit and Mediasystem

Hello, I’m not a Tarraco driver and have now decided for an Ateca, but I have received disturbing messages from my good friend, who has gained a new Tarraco, registration March 2019. The problem is that the entire digital cockpit and the media system fail again and again, including the speed indicators and tachometer etc. The car must now probably go to the workshop for the fourth time. the display module for the cockpit and the complete media system for far more than 4000 euro in front replaced. Nevertheless, the ads go like wildly confused, the screen fails, it flickers like wild or it shows up at inconvenient intervals all possible ads in a crazy change on the display as if a virus spreads on a notebook. The workshop master said at last, he should not connect his iphone with the cable to the full link, this would probably the gan It’s hard to believe. It’s really disturbing for such a new and expensive car. Has something like this already been noticed by other tarracos? Have other owners already had similar experiences and if so, what was done by the workshop? It can’t be that the customers have come to the market as beta testers for a new model. These times should actually be over.

  • Lane Assist

Hello together. I have been driving a Tarraco Xcellence for a few days. Everything is top, except for the tracking assistant. I would like to have it permanently deactivated, but despite switching it off in the menu it is activated every time after ignition off and on again. Disabling is fast with the button on the blinker, but it is still annoying that the hook in the menu does not obey me, but seems to lead a life of its own. Does anyone know advice? Thank you in advance, Best regards Ralf

  • Errors and updates MIB3

Moin, wanted to ask about the current software status here and then you noticed problems with the software. I still have the software status at delivery. What I noticed so far: 1) There are often no navigation announcements to listen to. Then the system has to restart by long pressing on power. Then it works again. 2) Rarely, but the sound is extremely quiet. No matter how loud I put the system. Also when a restart it stays like this. So far only a factory reset helps. 3) When I call the voice assistant via the button, I do not receive any voice message. When I call the voice assistant via Hola Hola, everything is as desired. 4) The system itself is very cumbersome at the start of the Tarraco. The navigation card loads forever. Whether in the virtual cockpit or the media screen in the middle. 5) I have set the standard Eco mode at my DSG. Nevertheless, it shows me with every restart D instead of E at the gear indicator in the display. I am very satisfied with the Tarraco FR DSG 150 PS MJ 2021 everything in it except leather and panoramic roof. But these software errors are annoying. Above all, the slow start should be fixed by an early update.

  • Remote unlocking rear seats boot missing

Good evening to everyone, I’m new here in the forum, but I’ve been reading with you for a while. Today I got my new Tarraco xcellence. 200 hp diesel engine as 5 seaters. Now my question: I assumed that I can unlock the back seats by a lever in the trunk. With my car these levers are missing. Is that normal? On all pictures and videos I see these parts, also my previous Alteca and Kodiaq have these. Is that also so with you? Thank you for your help.
