  • 2017 Swift general

I’m opening a thread to the new Swift, doesn’t seem to give one yet. The test values in the AMS (everything else you can forget about for a long time) are excellent: With the low-pollutant, smooth running 1.2l 4-cylinder suction gasoline 0-100 in 10.5 sec, 0-130 in 17.8 sec (this is 1.2-5.1 sec faster than the at least equally strong, turbocharged test opponents), test consumption Mix 6.1l, normal 5.8l ( 0.4-0.7l less than the opponents with their ruffled downsizing direct injections), Eco 4.8l, Sport 8,6l. Also good room offer with only 384cm length. Suzuki builds the best small cars, with many competitors you get at the same price only obese misconstructions in which the base motor is totally overwhelmed (15+ sec to 100).

  • SX4 Repurchase!

Carry the idea of buying an SX4 S-cross! Currently, there are lots of vehicles on the market as a day-to-day registration. Who bought such a vehicle recently? What should you pay attention to when buying? What about warranty services at Suzuki? Especially because the dealer network seems to be very clear, and the dealers in my catchment area are relatively small dealers! These day-to-day registrations are sold not by Suzuki dealers, but by more or less less big free dealers! Some with around 2000 vehicles at the yard! Lt. Configurator there are 2 equipment variants! Comfort and Comfort+! Only the pages are probably neither complete nor correct! On various platforms automatic transmissions are offered, on the configurator not! Besides these variants are offered also “Imfort” and others! Look no more through here! Are these old variants? The C+ is then different from the configurator without leather and sliding roof! have I discovered the li. switch in some Fz. in the picture! 4x switch on the left. Probably switch off for parking help or front chamber??? Who brings something LIcht into the dark? Thanks in advance! Manfred B.

  • Vitara LY in the snow and a question about driving mode LOCK

Hello colleagues, today I have done the first extensive ride in the snow with the little one (with deep snow and other not so easy moments). I don’t want to give too much room to my honest enthusiasm; absolute class, stable, easy to master, smooth working of the all-wheel system etc., everything in the mode SNOW, LOCK I took only for interest, not needed (which I never thought about in view of the conditions). Nevertheless, my question refers to LOCK: I am interested in Is there any technical information or background/experience why this mode should not be used in the long term or (why) this is technically harmful? In the back of my mind I have such a pale memory, but I don’t even know if it was Suzuki. Thanks and greeting prio PS: the search I did not try to find

  • Frozen windshield at minus degrees

Hello, I own a Fiat Sedici (but still write here, because the SX4 was built more often) Bj2014 1,6l petrol 4×4 120hp 32tkm. I always have the problem in winter, as soon as I get out of the night shift fresh showered into the car, the windshield immediately or is already fogged. Sure, that could come from showering but with the other cars I drive it is not like that. If it is quite cold, the disc is even often already plumped from the inside. that the engine felt takes forever until warm air comes out of the ventilation and I have to wait so partly 10min until I can start at all, and then only with half view. Wiping does not bring anything, strikes immediately again. The climate unfortunately does not run at the temperatures either. Up to now I removed the pollen filter test by test, leaves and other dirt, cleaned the disk inside several times, windows opened during the day in the garage if the interior is wet, The air valve was tested and 2 bags (each 1Kg) were placed on the dashboard. It was a bit better by the measures, but still not satisfactory. As I said, with other vehicles (including small cars) I do not have the problem, with which already. Can I still check any procedure, whether something is clogged?

  • Quick question about the new Swift – is this an EU car?

Hello community,I don’t know much about the Swift, but an acquaintance wanted to buy this car for 11000Euro. https://…l-grundmeier-harsewinkel.de/used_offers.html?… Is this an EU car? I always thought the Swift has Led rear lights and LED headlights as standard? Front lights I can’t recognize, but LED rear lights are not. New there is the car for 13300Euro at the intermediaries. With them 83Ps engine, according to Wikipedia there is the starting from 07.2020 u And the car would now be 50Kg lighter – that’s really a lot, just by a new engine?

  • Purchase advice Suzuki Vitara ET

Dear Forengemeinschaft, as a car newcomer I write you with the request for a few tips. So far I have not owned a car, i.e. real green beak. I dream for a long time about a small convertible as a summer fun car. As a big city child I am not dependent on a car, I do everything by road bike. So it would be used for shorter distances in good weather to get out of the city. Now it has optically very pleased me the early Vitara, and one seems decent cars for a Now there seem to be certain differences between the models, some tend to get more rust etc. Important for me is that I can drive it with green environmental badge also in environmental zones, that doesn’t seem to apply to all models. Despite pollutant class Euro1/2 the green badge is indicated for many models, that’s right? If I don’t want to do without ABS, power steering and airbags I should probably look for a younger model, do you have Since there are suggestions from which year onwards? Are there clear recommendations for the different engines (80hp/97hp etc)? Should you leave the fingers of models >100,000km per se or is the engine robust enough to look at well-kept models? Sorry about the Newbie questions, Vl is a patient professional who wants to tell me a few things about it. I have searched the Suzuki forum of the last two years and found no suitable entry, so I thought I was writing here something new in. LG and already thank you for your help! Florian

  • Suzuki Swift IV Mz Built 2009 – Central locking is no longer possible – button inside also not

Hello together, on my 2009 BJ Swift MZ 1,3 the ZV is no longer working. That means the trunk is no longer working. Inside the button is without function. My village car has already changed the driver’s door lock. Unfortunately without success. Because still does not work. Safety is according to him also no. Does anyone have an idea? I’m afraid that this will be a barrel without floor ;( Thanks already for tips!!! PS: Click on the remote control lets the lights flash outside and inside the light goes on. The locks do not open.

  • DSBS (Emergency Break Support) causes problems – Suzuki does not slow down autonooma

My Vitara 1.4 GLX AT has a problem with the automatic braking system. If the cruise control is activated, the system works perfectly. If my car gets too close to an object, the system intervenes by autonomous braking. If I turn off the cruise control, the system no longer works. If my car gets too close to an object, my Vitara does not slow down. The system does not work. The dealer confirmed the problem and told me that this hardly ever happens. r must have my car in the garage for hours to measure everything carefully and see where the problem lies. When I hear that, I get nervous. You don’t know what it is, so they start looking. I then rely on the knowledge of the mechanic in electronics / computer technology. Is there anyone here who also had a problem with the automatic brake system (Dual Sensor Brake Support)?

  • Samurai reverse & 5th do not go in

Hello, I’m new here. Hope I’m at the right corner. I have a Samurai Santana Van (Bj.93), in which the screw has been broken again and again for some time. This was changed in about a quarter of a year 3 times. But now the reverse gear and the fifth does not go in again. I have to use both hands to switch the two gears at all. In the workshop I was told that the attachment on the drive could be switched. e, which can be unscrewed from the interior of the vehicle, be worked out. I think it’s called a gear lever. However, I can’t quite imagine that this should be all of it. I would be grateful if someone had an idea, because I’m animally into the thing. And to the people who always say, “Buy a real car!” I don’t want to do the favor so fast.
