  • Suzuki Alto engine damage, valve drive?

Hello! I hope this fits in here. Our 2004 Suzuki Alto (43,000 km) has been rattled lately quite horribly! We drove several hundred kilometers further with the noise because I first suspected the exhaust. It could have become a bit louder since then, but the performance seems to be full and otherwise it actually runs quite normal. The “specialist” workshop has adjusted the valves and the oil tank removed to test the crankshaft. After that they gave on mi Here’s a video in which you can hopefully hear what it’s about. Is it possible for someone to do something with it?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqXIkVg7R-c&feature=youtu.be My guess is towards valve drive. Could it possibly be a broken valve spring? I am happy about every hint. Greetings!

  • Where is the Suzuki Swift Sport built? Japan?

Hello, question is in the title. had previously a small original discussion about Japanese car manufacturers. I would like to know where the suzuki is built? outside japans? how is this quality? had read that it was not so good with the jimny from spain with the quali. also other japanese let in India, turkish etc build (no against these countries themselves), but the quality is not ui compare with the models that are built directly in japan…….eg split measurements, ver work, rust protection etc. was recently at nem honda dealer and I looked at the new jazz hybring. which is built in japan, made a solid impression. so now it’s your turn. thank you in vroaus

  • Experiences Celerio

Here you don’t read very much about the Celerio at the moment, where I find that it is one of the most underrated cars in our country. I bought a new Celerio for my son as a club with autom. manual transmission. Color Ablaze Red Metallic and paid for it at a German Suzuki dealer 9.170,– Euro. For this money, in my opinion there is no comparable new car with automatic transmission (even if it is “only” an automated manual transmission). experience after about 400km is that there really is a very spacious interior for this size and the car is also very suitable for highways. 250km of highway drive home. The engine is not incredibly loud and very pleasant for a 3-cylinder. Also the driving performance is much better than with the up, which my wife had until last year. Of course you notice the will to save, but the processing is absolutely ok and also the driving noises fall wi The automated manual transmission does not show up negative either. Personally I could not notice any differences to the autom. manual transmission in the UP. Of course you have to get used to it driving, but once you get used to it, it is actually very pleasant to drive. What is really super positive is the fuel consumption. According to the on-board computer we have used 4.5 liters on average in the first 400km. So first conclusion: For the price of 9.170,– Euro for the Club AGS with Metallic it is a super car. Unfortunately, the high-rallative type classes are negative, but this is strongly relativized with corresponding damage-free discounts. I do not evaluate the inspection intervals 20,000km/12 months over, as an UP has an annual interval. Would also be very interested about your experiences, perhaps also over a longer period of time.

  • Jimny, engine clacks

I drive a Jimny Bj. 2004 with a mileage of approx. 80.000km The engine clacked at speeds of approx. 3,500 rpm and low load. I had renewed the following: – renewal piston bolts The piston bolts were considerably knocked out. The new piston bolts fit in the piston. After that the clacking was better, but still available. – renewal bearing shells connecting rod / crankshaft The bearing game was above the wear limit. This had not changed with the new bearing shells No improvement – Renewal control chain with chain tensioner No improvement – Renewal tap sensor No improvement – Renewal oil filter The cracker is almost completely gone. Note: Suzuki oil filters have an internal overflow of 1 bar. In the oil filter cartridges of VW the overflow opens at 2.5 bar. As the connections fit each other the wrong oil filter was installed.

  • Dirt catcher for Vitara LY

Hello, has someone experience and possibly pictures of dirt catchers in the back for the Vitara LY ? My problem is that my Vitara in the back is always extremely dirty, I often have to drive on very dirty roads. There are many offers for example on Amazon or eBay from 30 – 60 euros, but also original Suzuki, for say and write 119 euros only in the back, without mounting. My question is, what is the fit accuracy, and must be drilled into the sheet metal? Who has ever installed such parts? ?

  • Suzuki Swift Question on the “Infotainment System”

Hello, and good day, today I have a new question about the Swift : to the “Infotainment System” : it is possible to get an acoustic hint there if you exceed the permitted speed, about like “Please pay attention to the speed” With my GLA this is possible, but I have no idea where, and how I have set it (Navi, Radio, or…) Can anyone help here??? Thank you MfG

  • Swift mildhybrid All-wheel behavior downhill on snow

We had an accident with an SX4 4×4 when we came into the slide during downhill in the middle mountain range and then the car was not steered anymore. We had set the 4×4 drive on automatic. As a replacement we want to have a quite small all-wheeler who brings us up again without having to put on chains. Therefore we consider the new Swift 1.2i Dual Jet mildhybrid. Has already had experience with the all-wheeler variant on the road while sliding off f Snow? Or does anyone know what happens when the front wheels slide downhill while braking? In particular what does this mean for the steering of the vehicle? Do the rear wheels start pushing the car even if – in the worst case – the front wheels are standing across or the car is no longer steerable when you start to give gas? Wouldn’t it be better in this situation if the whole force remained with the front wheels to get the car steerable again?

  • Suzuki Liana LPG Automatic goes off in cold gear

Hello, my Suzuki was converted to gas in 2017 with 62,000km. Now there are 155,000km on the speedometer. Gear oil has already been changed. Everything is normal at the start. As soon as I set up on Drive, the speedometer goes down to 500 and lower and immediately. Only if the car runs warm I can drive without problems. Since the car is otherwise still well in fire, I would hate to hand it over.

  • Suzuki Swift FZ/NZ speed sensor

I have the following problem. I have driven through a slightly larger pothole and since then occasionally my Km/h display / speed is still displayed. ESP/ABS motor control light goes on. Power steering fails. After several turns on and off while driving the problems disappear and come back after some time. Car read out, following errors:ECM motor control module U0121 Lost Communication with ABS/ESP Control Module P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor ‘A’EPS Elek. Power steering ung C1161 CAN Invalid Data from Vehincle SpeedMA Instrument Panel/M&A U0121 Lost Communication with ABS/ESP Control Module Is the speed sensor gone, but one of the ABS sensors or the whole ABS block? Does the Swift have a speed sensor at all or is it all recorded via the ABS sensors? At first glance in the engine compartment I have found no speed sensor now.

  • Strong Vibration in Idle Suzuki Swift Nz

Hello, I have had a Suzuki Swift NZ for a few months, built in 2013, with 69 kW. In the first months I had no problems with the vehicle, but since the last two months I have felt strong vibrations in idling mode – both in cold and warm conditions. Unfortunately, I can’t see anything striking in the engine compartment. So far I have changed the spark plugs and the battery, but the problem still exists. I would be grateful for a few tips on what it might be like.
