  • New Ignis

Moin together, a few days ago we picked up our new Ignis. White metallic, automatic and comfort + We change from a polo, with also 90 hp and 7 gear DSG. Cause for the change is only the reason that we had problems when getting in and out with the polo, due to the flat construction, and the view is actually bad to all sides. Besides, the windshield is too flat, I always had the feeling to drive with a board in front of my head. We sin d both are slightly larger than the average and have no longer been in the mood for the polo for dislocations and head. We have searched for a while to find a small car that has not fallen prey to the madness of wind cutness. We have come to the Ignis again and again, a really pragmatic car with straight lines, small dimensions and still enough space in the interior. The Ignis is not the better car. The automatic, the road position, the seats. Polo better. But we can get in and out without dislocations. In the interior you have no more fear of space due to the flat windshield, we just feel comfortable in the little one. Although the Ignis is 30 cm shorter than the polo, it feels at least as much space, especially in the head area the feeling of space is great. And with some practice you can handle the automatic well. The timely bouncing of the gas pedal accelerates the gear change, after now almost 500 KM we have You well arranged with the Ignis. An all-round sympathetic car!!

  • Splash 2011 Automatic seat heating does not go on the driver’s side

All of a sudden, the seat heating on the driver’s side was gone, is there a fuse, is the driver’s side and passenger side secured separately? Are there 2 control units for the seat heating or only 1 control unit? The small lights on the switch are burning on both sides. You just notice that it remains cold!! Seat heating will probably be the same in principle with all models of Suzuki. I am grateful for any help. Can the switches be clipped from above? Then I could as first change the switches from right to left, second change the control unit, the heating mat(s) I imagine more difficult than layman, thank you for any help!!

  • Help with Suzuki Wagon R+ type MM Mod. ́2001 ???

Hello, have bought a Wagon R+ out of need, need at least an automatic PKW at the moment. I am generally quite satisfied, is not a wonder of performance, but you drive quite comfortably. Now I have unfortunately found that I am probably the only one who lays hand on such a vehicle, wants to say, there is practically no info ́s on the net. I have now an original Ford Navi built in and a Motorola 2700. Since both devices are green illuminated, I now want to adjust the rest. It’s not a problem, but it’s difficult to disassemble the center console panel. Tacho is not a problem, the automatic display and ev. clock would also be interesting. I tried, but I don’t want to break anything. I only found the two screws under the ashtray, but then failed on the buttons of the air conditioning or heating actuation. So if someone knows something, I would be very happy about advice. Oh, well, someone already has a Waeco magi c touch retrofitted ? Find this with the closing up quite annoying and would also be very happy about a connecting plan here. Greeting Christopher

  • Unprogramming recoverable?

Hey to everyone, I had pops and bangs programmed for my Suzuki Swift a few months ago. Shortly after that, the engine control light went on (“catalyst efficiency”), so I changed the cat and the lambda probe. Now the lamp lights up again, and the pops and bangs never worked properly. I suspect there’s still a faulty programming in the control unit. Could you reset the control unit to serial status? Could the wrong softw Are the cause, or is the new cat already defective? What would the reset cost? Or can I reset the ECU myself by disconnecting the battery? Thanks for your help Lg jan

  • Snarling from the front axle and boxes defective

Hello together I have 2 problems on my wife’s splash. 1. Do we have a relatively loud creaking from the front axle driver side. Comes up at ground waves, curbs etc. If it’s humidity rather less, when it’s dry much louder to hear. Workshop says it’s all okay, no bearings knocked out or similar. On the day of the test drive it was of course rainy, ergo the noise was also less to hear. Is there childhood diseases? 2. Fall the boxes from the radio sporadically It’s not on the radio, it’s already tested another one. Box plug on the radio also seems to be okay, at least nothing changes if you wobble on the plug. Is there possibly also an idea on this topic? Thank you in advance, many greetings Mirko

  • Hair crack in the cylinder head?

Hello. I had the problem with my Swift Mz two weeks ago that after about 20 minutes driving the temperature of the engine climb up to just about the red area. I then drove and turned it off. I am there so slowly again and again to the workshop. Today I got the information that it is possibly a hair crack in the cylinder head. Is that really possible? Neither was there any less cooling liquid level on that day, nor could one see coolant traces in the oil cover n. The fan works too. Also no white smoke from the exhaust. That morning the heater also searched for a very long time to get warm. Much longer than normal. That has to be related? But really a hair crack?

  • Question about mirror heating, hybrid concept

Hello together, my father bought a new Vitara 1.4 Hybrid 2 weeks ago. This one doesn’t have a sign for the mirror heating on the passenger side on the driver side. Is there any logic behind it when the sign lights up and does the passenger have no heating? Does someone know about the hybrid concept of the car? Is this actually only used to speed up or are the 12V consumers also supplied with it? How is this when I walk off the gas light the Is the system somehow linked to the traffic signs recognition? My father claims the car is directed to the signs when driving downhill how quickly it rolls? The appointment for the lane of this self-employed person to what does it go? It doesn’t work with us at any road really only highway. Thanks for your help. Greetings Monsterkiller

  • Engine control light on, car loses drive, what’s that?

Now I have to ask the experts to answer a question: I drive home with my sister’s car, a Suzuki Swift, about 10 years old (my car is just in the workshop). Shortly before the finish (maybe 6-7 km) the engine control light lights up. I went on because I was – as I said – almost at home. So I come to a main road and want to turn right. So go on (normally in the first gear) and suddenly it feels/hears, As if the gear wasn’t right in it and as if I was idle. But I wasn’t. Suddenly, the power stopped and I slowed down, the car stopped and I stopped. Then I turned off the car and started again and could drive (with extremely low power) just on the side stripes. Since arrived, were really as good as all control lights on. Exactly I don’t remember, because I switched off the engine quite automatically, because the z It was overheated. It left after a while, but had the feeling that it simply lost drive and smells extremely stinking. Now the car is in the workshop. I can’t wait to see what comes out. I’ve never experienced this before, have you ever had such an experience? What could that have been? Best regards, Martin P.S: Sorry, I think I set the post in the wrong category. Can I postpone it again?

  • S-Cross Winter tires – anyone possible? Uncertain? Incompatible?

Hello, we have short questions about our S-Cross BJ: from 08/16, bought at the end of 2020, as a new car. In principle we are super satisfied with the great car. Has these summer tyres: 215/55 R17 94V with tire pressure sensors (system had already informed us about pressure drop, so we know that there are some) We were now for winter tire purchase at the specialist workshop, which meant for new + storage of the old ones take them 850 €. We only recently got a second baby, thewe This is a lot of money for us just before Christmas, especially since we are slow and slow riders. – so could we buy any (better) winter tyres online, if the exact same name has or do they have to be special? (because of tyre pressure sensors) – will the workshop probably refuse us to change if we have bought the tyres elsewhere? – there are tyres from about 70€ per piece; of course, they are certainly even better processed with 150€ per piece etc, before all for high speeds, but are cheap tires unsafe? We never drive more than 120 and highways only for holidays. – the specialist workshop offered us 215/60 R16, deviates from our designation, is that normal? thanks for your help!

  • Suzuki Swift 2017 with automatic: recommended and reliable?

Hello. For my parents-in-law we are looking for a small car with 4 doors and automatic transmission Now we have come across this offer at a dealer nearby: https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/…/1902037170-216-9056?… Are the transmissions reliable, or are there known problems. The km and the age are still within the frame, the price with used is unfortunately not optimal, but I can not change anything. Unfortunately I don’t know about Suzuki at all, it doesn’t have to be vie l can run, except reliably. Thank you for your answers Greeting Ralf
