Since my USB port doesn’t work (doesn’t recognize and charge a connected Android smartphone) my question: Can the current SW 1890 update you via the SD card slot? The installed SW of the SLDA is still the original version 0840-151203 I already have the SW 1890 on a USB stick and could also copy it to an SD card. Maybe the current SW then recognizes the Android smartphone connected to the USB. The friendly wants me on Wednesday a new USB port in the Install the center console compartment because it suspects that the existing USB port is defective, because it does not even charge the phone. However, it said directly that it cannot give any guarantee that everything works with the new USB port.

Suzuki Swift squeaking
Hi there, I bought a Suzuki Swift built in 2007 in the summer. From the beginning he squeaked, but stopped for a few minutes. In September the belt was torn. A new alternator was installed, new belt was installed, squeaking went on. Connecting the starter was changed and new injection glands and rubbers were installed. squeaking continues. In the meantime it only helps to turn off the engine briefly while driving and again a Since the weather is colder now it starts to squeak as soon as you are in the lower speed range or e.g. drive around curves. I don’t want to have any more indiscriminate parts replaced, so far no workshop could help me. Maybe someone knows the problem and can help?

Experience with the SX4 S-Cross 1.6 VVT 4×4 Comfort
The pages here for the SX4 S-Cross I have “flicked through” and read across. Since I find only on individual topics what and mostly on newer model I ask here for the user experiences about the model: Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 1.6 VVT 4×4 Comfort, EZ 4/2014, mileage almost 70,000 km. Early next week I would like to look at the used car. What to pay attention to? How are the user experiences regarding durability, inspection costs, wear, …..? What are flaws? gsliste of the used has “frightened” me, so many comfort systems, which in my view is not absolutely necessary and can only break. Why I still like the model: with Suzuki I have quite good experiences with cars. In addition, I need an all-wheel to handle at least forest paths, for example to get firewood. Moreover, it has still acceptable trailer loads, is a sucker, the gasoline engine chain, …… . A new Jimny or Vitara can and moch I don’t afford it and most of the time, this model has been dried up as used vehicles and a 3-door Vitara until year 2016 is hardly/not to be found on the used market.

Handbrake control light during braking and in curves at the SX4 classic,
Today our son visited us with wife and the two grandchildren. He drives an SX4 classic, year 2012, 120 hp gasoline, 4 disc brakes. He reported that when braking and in bends the hand brake control lights light up. I did a test drive directly and found the same. A check of the brake fluid level showed that there was a lot missing. The car has 112,000 km on the clock. My suspicion is that the brake pads are front or back and thus the fluid level is The fatale: The daughter-in-law was in front of the car last week because of exactly the thing at a free workshop. The diagnosis was: they can continue driving, that can only be a sensor. The same workshop had changed the front cathedral warehouses at the car in the summer. So they must have dismantled the brake calipers and seen the brake pads. Such a workshop would have to be sued or ?????? I’m going to take his SX4 to the Suzuki dealer of my trust tomorrow. What do you think about this?

Ratters at 50-58 km/h
Hi, I used to buy a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara JT (122k km, 2.0L gasoline and automatic transmission). The car stood in a barn for a year. Now it is the case that when the engine is warm at about 50-58 km/h, when the transmission is in the 4th gear, it starts ratting from the front, as if you are driving over a structured road marking. The transmission then often switches back into the third gear. Someone said that it is on the automatic transmission and I immediately got the ATF should swap and should not drive a single meter more and predicts a capitable gear damage. Now, of course, I am totally unsure.. What could that be? On the cardan shafts I have checked the game before: They are totally tight.

V-belt squeaks despite change
Hello together, I bought the Suzuki about half a year ago. V-belts squeaked from the beginning at cold start. After 2 months it is then torn. I then of course let it renew. It was then again tensed because he still squeaked at the pick-up still. After that however was quiet. About 4 weeks. Then the squeaking sporadically started again. Sometimes was quiet while starting. But just in cold weather and in wet weather he squeaked again. Back to the workshop. After a few weeks I went to another workshop. They thought that he was a little loose. They held him back. Again a few weeks of rest. Then he started to squeak again. Only in cold and wet weather. Have now observed the whole thing a little and I imagine that it squeaks especially when I have the climate. Sometimes, if he doesn’t squeak directly at the start I still have the feeling that the You can hear it then clearly “guy” but without squeaking. Now I am at a loss and the workshop more or less too. They meant we could now start to exchange suspicions. Climate compressor, alternator etc. Since I have little to no idea, I hope for experiences and tips.

Message in infotainment display
So far I have only been a reader in this forum, now I have a question and would like to introduce myself briefly: I am an Austrian and have now since 1 month my first Suzuki, an S-Cross 1.5 Strong Hybrid 6 AGS flash (in D: Comfort+). I am very satisfied with the car so far, only one thing bothers me: at JEDEM Start the message appears on the infotainment display that the device cannot be operated during the ride and that I am responsible as a driver. From my predecessor cars with Navi (2 Opel Mo kka) I know this so that such a message at longer intervals of an estimated 1 – 2 weeks was popped up and then had to be acknowledged, but not at JEDEM Start! Is there a similar attitude with the Suzuki, which I have only not found yet? Thanks anyway for suitable tips and all a nice Christmas.

How long does the battery hold in the Keyless Go key?
Last year in May I bought my S-Cross 1.4 as a used car. A few days later one of the two FBs no longer works. I drove to the Suzuki dealer of my trust (I didn’t buy the car from him) and he renewed the batteries immediately in both FB. Now 19 months later is another FB without function and the second one sometimes has dropouts. The FB without function is the same as last year and it is usually in the drawer at home and is used little. Is that normal or not?
