  • How durable is the control chain in the M16A

We have a Suzuki SX4 with M16A engine, which has soon sped off an amazing 300’000km. I think that sometimes I hear the steering chain rattle, how durable is this with the M16A engine? Would it be tedious to replace it yourself? I think we just keep driving until the engine flies around our ears (maintenance is regularly made), and simply replace the whole engine if it actually comes to harm. Other views? Thank you

  • Possible solution Android Auto/Car Play at Bosch SLDA

Hello, I thought I would share my experience with the connectivity between smartphone and infotainment. I own a Suzuki Vitara 2019 (just a month) with the Bosch SLDA Infotainment. The part has Android Auto/Car Play which unfortunately does not work well, so I got a little closer to the thing. I lit under the following problems: 1. Rarely has the mobile phone connected, mostly not 2. error message that the mobile phone cable is unfortunately not suitable (complete Qua sometimes it works, but then with a wrong movement it is over with the connection. In the deep of the internet I found out that Suzuki unfortunately does not have the best USB ports and therefore there are often wobble contacts. Then I looked for an original spare part, which costs simply overly naughty 60 to 100 euros, for a stupid USB socket. My rescue was a USB adapter cable from Aliexpress, cost a pinch n 1 to 5 Euro and thus simply the existing USB cable + socket replaced. My problems have disappeared since then and Android car funtkioniert wonderful. All my ordered cables worked without problems. The original USB cable is with such an absurdly fixed cable holder that I simply did not get this, probably I have to cut the cable holder with a sharp knife. Currently the original cable is still back, it makes fortunately no Gerä My next steps would be to get the original USB cable out soon and try to solder the USB port again so that it runs properly or this hole where the cable hangs out in the picture more beautiful to cover. Besides, I bought an Android car wireless adapter so that my phone connects wirelessly and while being cleverly charged over a 24 watt car USB port. I think it flows max. 0.5 amps from the Radi o to the socket, which unfortunately is far too little nowadays. Maybe someone like me also suffers with this problem the last weeks and can give some of the others an added value with regard to this topic.

  • Your opinion on the purchase of this car.

Moin, I visited a car today, which I liked very much. I have carried out a certain checklist of checks and it makes a very good impression. My question is now whether I should buy it anyway, because there is no current TÜV report and the car only has eight months TÜV. Is this a too big risk or very suspicious.? According to the seller, it is not too bad, since there are no defects. If there is a too big risk, it makes sense the car mi t new TÜV to buy from the seller? He has offered this. I don’t know very well about cars.

Thank you very much Andreas

  • New purchase Suzuki Ignis

Hello together, I love a change of the car brand (from Hyundai to Suzuki). Especially I love the Suzuki Ignis (variant Comfort +) and have already read a lot here in the forum, but as it is always like, you can’t find the answer to the questions that concern you, so I allow myself to publish my post here and would be very happy if I get some clever answers here. Let’s go…. Are the two brands H yundai and Suzuki to compare quality? Currently I drive a Hyundai i10 built in 2014 and do not want to deteriorate from quality and reliability when buying a Suzuki Igni (except Monday cars). Is the Suzuki Ignis actually soooooooooo loud as it is sometimes presented in various reports? I find it confusing that if I read test reports about a Hyundai i 10, it also says something about driving noise etc. K lar, such a car in this price category are not sound-muffled vehicles, but when I read it through I always have the feeling that I have to drive with earplugs and conversations during the ride are futile. I also wanted to ask if someone can say something about the dirt vulnerability of individual colors. In the short choice are the colors blue and anthracite. I am a professional commuter and therefore drive at least 80 km a day – in any weather, but also do not have the thick lu At the moment I’m lucky to have caught a color with my i10 in “dove blue” with which you have to drive the car only once in a quarter through the wash road. Is there anyone who has had experience with the colors here? And my last question for the time being: Is it really the case that the Ignis is a pure city car or would it be something for commuters. In the professional traffic it usually only goes over the highway at max. 120 km/h anyway. would really look forward to getting answers to my questions – of course I will also do a test drive, but my thought cinema is still running. Many greetings from the commuter

  • S-Cross GPS navigation system

Hello, I have a question regarding an S-cross and its navigation system. The car is not mine, but an acquaintance. If he wants to use the Navi, he always has to connect his mobile phone, because the car has no GPS of its own, which I find somewhat strange. But good, if that is so, it is just so. My first question is: Can one connect a splitter to the USB port to make one port two? Is the power supply enough for it? My second question: Is it possible to upgrade the GPS somehow, so you don’t have to do this via your mobile phone? I’m not sure if I’ve understood this completely wrong, but I’ve seen SD cards in China-Shops that are supposed to have GPS. Is there something like this?

  • Grate treatment Grand Vitara

Hi, My NGV has superficial rust on the axle carrier. I want to treat and preserve that. I would have pre-treated it with a brass brush and then covered it with fluid film. At the junctions with AS-R and on the surfaces with AR. What do you think is a good approach?

  • Swift – Questions before buying

Hello guys. I’m looking for a successor for my currently very reliable Opel Corsa D. I have a Suzuki Swift. Current model 2024. Model YED. Also in the narrow selection would be a Skoda Fabia. Current model. However, I don’t trust the TSI engines. Since I don’t have any experience with Japanese, here are my questions for you. It would be extremely great if you can really get out of here. Please get your answers with the respective number v 1. What is the general reliability of the newer Suzuki models? 2. What are the weaknesses of the Swift models in the past? 3. What is the supply of spare parts to dealers and on the free market? Are there, for example, restrictions on a brand from the VW Group? Prices reasonable? 4. What experience could you make with the inspection costs at the dealer? E.g. because they are there due to the warranty. 5. What experiences did you have in the case of material defects that you reported during the warranty? Was the customer service good or not so great on this point? I am a little in conflict with Suzuki or Japanese/Korean. Maybe also because I could not have any experience. I have the fear of buying a cheap car and afterwards getting the return carriage through very high inspection and part costs. Similar to printer. You’ll get rid of the device and the cartridges cost more than the device itself. What can you say about it? Thank you for your attention and feedback. Greetings.

  • Why not a powerful diesel in the Swift??

I have searched half the net for a smart small or compact class car at a reasonable price, but I would love the mini with the new 110-ps disel, but what you should put down for this little auo of money is madness. I also like the Suzuki Swift sport, but if you drive over 30,000 km a year, a gasoline guy simply does not come into question. I just can’t understand why Suzuki the Swift doesn’t finally have a reasonable The selmotor with 110-120 ps missed, so à la Ibiza FR o.ä…..I would have ordered the car long ago !!

  • Suzuki Swift so from EZ 1990 Experiences?? Good car??

Hi guys, I’m looking for a cheap car and I keep hitting an old Suzuki Swift. Do you have any experience with this car?? Does the vehicle do something or does it break all 120km? I plan to spend under 1,000 euros for the car and there are a lot of things about the 100,000km mileage. I also found a lot of automatic vehicles! What do you think of this:http://mobile.de/…/da.pl?… Thank you for your answers!
