  • Big feet for the Jimny

Moin, after I got my Jimny on winter tires (and there was no second wheel set) is a 1A opportunity to get rid of the really unspeakably ugly steel rims with regard to the coming summer. Considering the vanishingly small selection of aluminium rims for the Jimny, the majority of the riders seem to be different view – that didn’t make the search for suitable tires much easier. By a stupid coincidence (at which the big Aukti But I have now come to a set of aluminiums from the Grand Vitara – the exciting question arises, if they fit…? The steel rim of the Jimny is a 5.5J15 ET5, the one from the Grand Vitara 7J16 ET5. As tyres stand the current 205/70R15 against 235/60R16 – since the press-in depth is identical, the tires would have to come 15 mm further outwards, that should fit. The diameter rises from approx. 67 cm to 69 cm, what knap This would be less than 5% more than a series, so the TÜV would have to be able to live with it. Bike nuts and test reports (were unfortunately not there) are expected to intrude next week with the friendly one. The Jimny is not mentioned in it, I am curious about the reaction of the examiner. I think I should prepare him for it next week for the first time… For the photo I just took a rain gap, to two of them for the optics beside u think – see appendix. Of course has a bit of ice cream parlor look, but with that I can live… Greeting, Derk

  • Belt disc wobbly

Hello, I have a huge problem, with my Suzuki alto Bj 96 (type EF) the belt disc wobbles. So the disc that drives the teeth and wedge belts and sits on the camshaft. The car drows very nicely therefore, and am now thinking what is necessary for a reperatur. So the belt disc does not rotate in the clockwise sense no mm (then the motor would probably not run anymore) only wiggle back and forth about 1mm and in and out 1mm. had already someone such a problem? I still make a picture today and then put it online. do you think that it is a storage damage? or often simply rhyme disk exchange ready? well have in sight even little time (diploma work) and have not come to nehemish it yet. should someone manyicht but pictures to build up the Altomotor (so especially camshaft belt drive) I would also be very grateful. I have not even found a lot in other foren in this regard. and don’t say hello to my problem Nore

  • Suzuki Vitara Co,fort 4×2 Kaufberatung

Hello Fan’s Would be happy about a few tips about the above model! Reason: I have been driving a Subaru XV 2.0 E.Boxer for 14 months, so a half hybrid. I now have 32,000km away and blatant electrical problems, the fuel consumption is simply exorbitant etc. The thing is electr./E.Management a full disaster!!! The Subaru dealer also makes Suzuki and that stands such an above-mentioned part, from 6/2021 for 21 giants, 7 Tkm mileage. Much reads great, turbo, consumption, equipment, everything as far as o.g. .k. If the price is right for my Subaru, lt. net, about 25 grand …….. I am superior. I know it’s just a four-wheeler more, so there’s no need for the mud and even in winter it’s a loss….logo! Tell me who has one! Destructional and subjective criticism ….. here with it! Greetings and thanks in advance …… Rudi

  • SX4 S-Cross – Entertainment system: dull sound in FM mode

I’ve been a happy owner of a new SX4 S-cross for 2 months. One thing I noticed, however, is that I haven’t found anything on the net yet. There is a very strong sound difference between DAB and FM on the radio. While in DAB mode the sound is brilliant and normal in my eyes, the radio in FM mode sounds extremely dull. This is especially noticeable when the two modes are switched back and forth because of bad reception. I already realize that the radio has a lot of fun. there are differences in quality between analog and digital radio, but to this extent I have never noticed this in other radio models. Certainly you can regulate the sound, but only in general and not for each mode of operation separate. Has the other already noticed, or is there a solution for it?

  • Wheels despite reverse gear and handbrake

Hello, I have an Ignis Comfort plus since March. It is a great car with which I was very satisfied until 21.04.2019. Since I have been driving an automatic for 16 years, this model has become an automatic again. It was somewhat needy that there is no parking station anymore. But thought that you are used to it and everything is good. 500km then it went quite well, also the parking. But now came the day – I stopped on a forward sloping road, put the back Then I got out and wanted to cross the road in front of the car and noticed that the vehicle was rolling downhill (despite RG and HB), I got back into the car, grabbed the hand brake, which was pulled and the right leg on the brake. Unfortunately I then probably slipped off the brake, on the accelerator pedal and the part shot back like a rocket. Luckily the wheels were a little hit and then shot at the curb, took it as a jump. anze and flew on a bordering Feldstein (80cm high). Here he then stuck with the engine compartment, which was probably too hard to get the flight off. It sounds funny, but unfortunately I didn’t find it. Now my question, someone has already made such experience with the rolling. I must confess to my shame, I had run the engine. But actually even more strange, the vehicle would have had to move slowly backwards. n and not forward.

  • Automatic gearbox does not switch from neutral to a gear

My Suzuki Swift (MZ) with automatic manual transmission (built in 04/2006) has the following problem: Sporadic it happens that the insertion of a gear (automatically or manually) is not possible. That means I drove the car before (i.e. shorter distances of about 10 km), then parked it for about 1 hour and when driving again the engine jumped on, but the gearbox remained in neutral position and the insertion of a gear was impossible. bol. The system repeated the attempt to change gear. In the process, frictional transmission noises occurred, but a gear insertion failed. Only after waiting for at least 1-1/2 hours the car switched into a gear again without any problems. In the event of a lower waiting time, the problem was usually repeated. For the first time, the fault occurred in January 2017. In March 2017, the vehicle was examined at a Suzuki contract workshop. There, the clutch was changed and in the context of d In June 2018, a new battery was installed. I tried again this week. In a free workshop, the fault memory was read out again, again it did not reveal anything. The Gutmann tester used to report the cleaning of the throttle valve. An acquaintance spoke of the fact that in an automatic transmission, the way of the clutch was not clear. The labyrinth through which the oil flows must then be cleaned. To whom is this transmission problem known and which measure, also beyond the mentioned ones, leads in the end to the correction of the error? As everyone can imagine, driving is accompanied by a great uncertainty. In order to be able to drive again with a good and safe feeling, I ask for help in finding the cause. Thank you in advance.

  • Suzuki ignis yes or no !?

Hello dear Suzuki municipality , I have asked the question before but unfortunately I did not get a satisfactory answer. I could get a Suzuki ignis x-25 1.3, bj 11/04 with 114 tk, you had all hands done in the last 12 months, at Suzuki contract workshop. There would be a new gearbox, clutch, throttle flaps, brake complete and connecting hoses. Tüv until 11/13. The price would be supi for the car. Oh yes, first hand. So she sells the car just because she bought a car. bt and that’s smaller and more economical. I just had a stomachache because of the gearbox with the low running power !? I would be very happy to answer that.

  • How satisfied are you with your Suzuki dealer?

Hello together, how satisfied you are with your dealers, especially the workshop. I don’t want to make a workshop bad here, but I’m not at all satisfied with mine. I’ve had a lot of problems with my almost 12 month old Swift MZ and the handling in the complaint case is relatively sluggish. I have to drive out almost every time twice. Once for diagnosis and then for actual repair. If the dealer doesn’t know any further, then he pushes it to the manufacturer and And then it’s waiting, asking, waiting, asking, waiting… maybe you have other experiences… I bought the Swift because I liked it and I was looking for a reliable vehicle. But now I’m too often in the workshop. I wouldn’t buy another one anymore because I just expect more from the service. It looks nice, but in many things it doesn’t seem to be mature. What do you think about it? What experiences did you have? What experiences did you have? Ndler can you recommend?
