  • Help in making a purchase decision

Hello together! Maybe someone can help me with my purchase decision. I use the scrapping premium and have the choice between a VW Golf VI Trendline and a Suzuki Swift Club. Price difference between golf and Swift just €1,500, I like Swift much better optically, but I don’t know anything about repair vulnerability, reliability and spare parts prices. Who knows advice and can help me with my purchase decision?

  • Suzuki SX4 1.9 DDiS 4×4

Hello together, now the day of the next car dealership visit is getting closer, because this will then be the purchase day. In the next 1-2 weeks I will probably sign the purchase contract. Now I have some questions about the SX4. As far as the drive-in is concerned, I have experienced quite everything here, so I now have a few good specifications. What I don’t know, however, is the question whether the smaller defects like sc Did anyone buy an SX4 within the last few weeks? What does it look like now at lower temperatures and the switching problem? Furthermore, I deal with the accessories of the SX4, because of the Park Distance Control I am already sure, but what does it look like, for example, with the flexible mud flaps? Does anyone have it? Or do they just look stupid? Does the series Navi actually run a little safe in the meantime? He and more precisely? Or can you forget that? For more tips and reports I would be very grateful! Best regards SX4-Fan

  • A soon new Suzuki driver here 🙂

Hi guys. I’m actually from the Opel area, but I’m probably going to get around here more often from March. I have an Astra F which is now 14 years old as you can see in the signature with 1.6 petrol. Since the scrapping premium is there and I wanted to buy a new car this year anyway I was at Suzuki today and I’m the Swift once as 1.5 and once as 1.3 test driver. The Swift already liked me very much the whole time in the new edition. And now one comes to the other In the KW12 my new car comes I only have to decide in color. White or black but it will probably be the white one. This is a Swift in the equipment club with the 1.3 machine which is absolutely sufficient for my daily trips. With premium and cash payer discount costs me the good then so about 9800€. I absolutely look forward to the small because what you get here for money is really delusional (ABS, ESP, many airbags, climate etc.) Alos until soon A happy soon Swi Ft-driver.

  • How to use the four wheel ?

Hello, as already written in another thread I bought a Suzuki Vitara 2.0 Bj 98. This is now still made fit in the workshop and can then be picked up next Friday. Freu! But now my question. One of my motivations for buying the Vitaras was my masive fear of driving in snow and ice. I have 2 children who have to be driven daily to school. So I can’t stop. Now different people have advised me to go to a four-wheeler. Only w he is best used in winter?? In another thread in this forum, I read that the Vitara would be a tailshoe in winter without four wheel. Helpeeee! That would be my nightmare!! It would be great if someone took the time and explained to me the correct use of the four wheel. Many thanks Martina P.S. How do I test when picking up whether the all-wheel drive also works?

  • Suzuki Swift purchase advice

Hello, I’ve become aware of the Swift when looking for a new car, because I’m looking for a relatively compact car, but that a little bit more PS is the other ones in the size category. Of course I’ve already read in a bit, but since I’m not (unfortunately) a big car expert I hope that the experts will help me a little bit further here. Unfortunately my budget is only around 5000EUR. For 5500EUR I have found a few offers for a Swift in the area now, the check booklet What are the typical things that you have to pay attention to at the Swift? I have read about ball bearings (?) that this would be vulnerable to the Swift. Can you say, for example, how long-lasting a Swift is? I mainly drive short distances (short country road and more city) and once a month 200km of highway. For my budget I get a Swift with about 80 000km of mileage. I myself drive about 15 000km a year. Here your assessment would be very further I’m already a few Swifts test drives. I noticed with one that at higher speed (120km/h) the Swift somehow wobbled in the track. So you had to actively correct again and again and couldn’t smoothly drive straight ahead. That’s not normal, right? (The others I couldn’t drive so fast, because city traffic) An offer I found has a new gearbox and new clutch is 2015 with EZ 2010. If the gearbox is quickly broken at the S If this has already been repaired after 5 years, does this mean to take the car (is the gearbox relatively new then) or rather because of susceptibility? I especially have this offer in mind:https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…9348-26e0-363c-e053-e350040a65be?… or this (if there are still pictures)https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…a23e-71bf-4492-b665-1aa9cd7ef3dc?… And my last question: What does this look like with the inspections? What is the price on mic h too, if I get an 80000km Swift? (with previous complete checkbook). For your help I am really very grateful! And please excuse in advance, if some questions for you professionals sound stupid, I struggle but it is hard to look through all the technical terms

  • Track rod defective – accident!

On 17.10 my husband drove his Suzuki Swift type 1.2 NZ year 2015 towards work. He drove in a Fünziger zone about 40 km/h, because the car was standing at a traffic light shortly before. After a turn he heard a loud bang, and immediately on it the vehicle crossed over. And that at 40 km/h!!! ADAC found that the track bar was torn, and therefore the right wheel blocked itself. 3 weeks ago TÜV was made. As far as w I was informed that the bar had been torn down before, and since this is a creeping process, it would have to be noted by TÜV. Therefore, the question…. Does the track bar have to be checked at the TÜV? And can it be possible that the track bar will break in these 3 weeks?? Approximately 300 km to Tüv until the accident. And my husband also didn’t drive over anywhere, where could the bar have broken. He is the first vehicle holder and the car was in a Suzuki car dealership bought. Would like to know your opinion. Lawyer has been turned on.

  • Block wheels on four wheel

Good day, with our older Suzuki Vitara 2.0 Bj.99, 170 tkm more and more in the last months there is a blocking of the wheels or the drive with inserted all-wheels – first quite with additional reduction and beaten wheels. Is it a normal wear of the compensation gear? I can not tell if it comes more from the front or rear wheels or both alike. Can an oil change in the compensation gear bring something? Does someone know this and have experience with it?

  • Experience with Navi in the new Vitara

Hello guys, who has experiences with the “tollen” Navi in the new Vitara. the part is the last Heuler. Operation cumbersome per touchscreen you can often press it wurst yesterday in the middle of the Polish Pampas once again total failure from the Navi did not come either. Only the next day. The thing also annoys because it sends you through the smallest Käffer instead of leaving you on the “not locked or not built up” main route, although the fastest route is entered. Who knows if you another 2din Navi can install itself (except the pioneer praised by Suzuki, overpriced and outdated)

  • With the Ignis four wheel in winter to Central Asia (travel report)

I don’t know to what extent travel reports are desired here in the forum (links to) .. Last winter I drove with my “new” Suzuki Ignis (with Allgrip and in the Austrian top equipment Flash with SHVS) in a little over 3 weeks from Austria to Kyrgyzstan (for skiing) and back, that were about 16,000 km, the Ignis has proven itself very well and survived the journey without any damage. Only the consumption of the ski carrier and the full load was about 1 liter higher (approx. . 6.5 instead of 5.5 l / 100 km).In the meantime, my Ignis (since Jan. 2017) has 52,000 km on it – would be even more if I hadn’t driven my old Qubo with bed fitting (or would currently drive) in the summer last year I have now cut together a small, Ignis-centered best-of video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVM3YdivS-g Since we were 8 times tyres (with winter bikes and spike bikes), I had previously upgraded the rear seats. In addition, I had to buy ski carriers and had the cooler water frost protection replaced as a precaution (since one has to reckon with -40° in Kazakhstan, the min. to -55° should go, but we didn’t have). Unfortunately, you can’t directly include pictures of externals here in this forum, so here’s the link to my best-of:http://blog.inmontanis.info/?p=4639&lang=en And here’s the detailed reports:h ttp://blog.inmontanis.info/?cat=165&lang=en

  • Suzuki Splash 1.2 Consulting

Hello together, I need your opinion and competence. I’ve been looking for my first car for a long time. Currently I’m still Azubi, 23 years old. After looking for a long time I discovered the Suzuki Splash 1.2 (86PS) for me. Actually, the car seems to be optimal. My question is now, can you recommend the car or would it fit me or do you have other recommendations? The following points are important to me: – Saving consumption (6 liters total) – Few maintenances (control chain be better?) – Under 100,000 km – PS is not so important to me, 65+ would be good – The car should accompany me for several years – Cheap in maintenance I would use the car mainly for the way to work and leisure time. The way to work would be a total of 60 km on the working day. Therefore, I have calculated an abrupt mileage of approx. 15,000 km. It would be nice if you could drive to where from time to time, city trips or times to the North Sea. My bowdet is by the way with ma ximal ca. 3000-40000€ Would be nice if someone would tell me if the splash would fit. Or how are the experiences like that? I chose the following two which correspond roughly to that:https://www.do-autos.de/…/…gen_fuel_dark grey_2008_65994km.htmlhttps://www.do-autos.de/…/…van-bus_benzene_silver_2010_38900km.html Thank you in advance!
