I thought I’d make a thread to the new Ignis, because it probably will come to us this year (exact date unfortunately still unknown). So that you can get a picture of the model here a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhKin8qJimk The Ignis has the dimensions of a small car, comparable to Hyundai i10 & Co: 370cm length, 166cm width – with the height however it exceeds these. Together with the design and the optional offered all-wheel drive, you could therefore use it The Ignis is probably the Fiat Panda, on which the mentioned points also apply. It is driven by the 1.2l 4-cylinder with 90hp, known from Swift and Baleno, as in the Baleno also available as Mild-Hybrid. The only transmission in Japan is a stepless automatic, whether a hand switch comes to us I could not find out. The most amazing thing about this model is the low weight: the basic version remains below 900kg and even d The heaviest version with all-wheel drive should remain below one tonne. This is a good idea for low real consumption values. As a modern small car with optional all-wheel drive, the Ignis will be a model without direct competitors, since the Panda has already come into the years.

Introduce My Ignis
The car is not so often on the roads. Although he would have deserved it. I was looking for the ideal second car. My 911er is logged off in winter, my wife needs her car more often, so we went to the search for a everyday car. Small, economical and some space should have the car. My wife alerted me to the Ignis because he liked it immediately. Put in, test drive and we ordered the car. I used the car during the daily drive to the Arb One of the first trips was a trip from Bavaria to Holland with three adults. Finally a small car that doesn’t look “sweet”. I like it very much from the front and from the side, only at the back was probably lunch break with the designers. We deliberately didn’t want an all-wheeler and chose the Comfort equipment. As accessories there were still a few orange stripes, the trunk tub, the Navi software and I built in other speakers at the front. Luggage compartment tub I can recommend. Man gets a level loading area and storage space for many small parts. Everything else in my test.https://www.motortests.de/auto/suzuki/ignis/3/1-2-ftId205938 Nice greeting Peter

Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 1.6 CVT 4×4 Limited
Hello dear forum, We have been planning for some time to buy a Suzuki SX4 S-Cross. 4×4 we wanted absolutely … we are in a rural area where the winter service can wait for itself already, and automatic would be nice. Wanted found… Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 1.6 CVT 4×4 Limited (2014) Recently the test drive behind us, everything felt top. Except for the volume of the automatic. That may be completely subjective, of course, since I already have a After the test drive I spoke to the dealer, who said that would happen if the “warm ran” – and an automatic would always be a little louder than a hand switch. In an article I even read…”…he howls like a dog to whom one has stepped on the tail!” We personally found the noise level conspicuous but not exaggerated. Therefore, just the question in the round… must that be so…s Timmt was nicht…experiencen…?? Or also like to talk about SX4 S-Cross CVT in general. First of all Thanks to everyone!

Kaufberatung Vitara 2 vs. SX4 S-Cross
Hello and good day, In search of a new car we came across the Suzuki Vitara at some point. As a new car you get to the Vitara quite cheaply. This week a test drive is on with the 1.6 automatic in the equipment Comfort. That would be exactly the configuration that comes into question for us. When we looked at the car live I suddenly stood in front of the Sx4. I remembered it as an extremely ugly car, but to my delight I noticed that the Fron I like that the car in the Comfort equipment already has a middle armrest and a keyless system. It is nominally more expensive, but I can get to the car almost at the same price, i.e. 200 Euro on Top. If I add that I would have to order the middle armrest as an extra at Vitara, the weights cost practically the same. I guess the S-Cross is the same. “Higher-quality” car is, because it is almost identical from the concept to the VItara, but is basically more expensive? Now I wanted to ask in the round if someone has stood before the decision and how this person finally decided. What weaknesses/strengths do the cars have? What can be positively/negatively reported about both? What is important to me: – Sufficient space for everyday life for a three-member family (which may eventually get further growth). – Good and economical automatic – reliability without unnecessary frills

Suzuki SHVS Start Stop is not possible
Hello, we’ve had a Baleno 1.2 Mild Hybrid (SHVS) since the start-stop system didn’t react once, engine is always on. (Of course, start/stop is not switched off.) What can this be? The battery is displayed as full. Do you have to pay attention to what when stopping? How are your experiences?

Gear damage Baleno
Hello to the Suzuki round, I, for a few years at MT, since 2000 Baleno – Kombi owners have now the rare problem of the gearbox. Since the noises of the bearings were already very annoying, I removed the gearbox and want to replace the bearings. I unscrewed the black transmission cover. Three screws of the bearing cover were broken off and lay around in the gearbox. What must I consider when cutting the gearbox and has already someone the Rep. kit offered in the net about 120,00 1.6 he year 2000, 120 000 km, which always went well, until the end, then something like that. Greetings from Hessen Paul

Vitara EU implementation
Hello in the round, are there different types of equipment available at Vitara between vehicles for Germany and other countries in Europe? Last time I had a look at one from mid 2019, with comfort equipment. In retrospect it occurred to me, however, that it was Comfort+. It was said that the vehicle was an EU car. From the price it also went into the Comfort price class. That seems a bit strange to me. Is there any difference? Greeting Nik

Speedometer and driving time implausible, new Suzuki Ignis car
Hello, I am grateful for every advice. After already unpleasant experiences with the dealer I picked up my new Suzuki Ignis this week. Unfortunately I was excited and – since new cars – did not pay attention to the mileage and the indicated driving time. At home, however, I noticed when clicking through that the tacho stand is not quite plausible to the contract. It must have been computationally more kilometers than indicated, about 30km. However, I find the topic driving time more difficult. Is the on-board computer more than two hours over the time I was driving to. How can you explain this? Do I have to worry about using the car (before collection already fully paid) for test drives and the speedometer has been reset? Or are there other possible explanations? Thank you! Greetings Maya3
