  • Speed at max 3000 – Engine warning lamp lights

Hello together, at my sister’s Suzuki Liana the engine warning lamp shines and the speed of the engine does not go over 3000 tours. The workshop wanted to replace the lamda probe. After that it worked briefly, now it is like before. I looked at the whole thing. The lamda probe does not look really new. The probe is rusty outside and the brass sleeve has started. I think the part was not replaced. My sister was again in the works – now plöt The connection between a speed limit on 3000 tours and a defective cat is not really clear to me. I had started the vehicle, so the engine was turned normally. Only during the test drive he suddenly lost power and the speed was no longer more than 3000 tours. Has anyone had such a problem, and can we help here? For tips we would be very grateful!

  • Exotic sidekick (Vitara)

Hi there, I have a rather exotic vehicle for Germany and would like some information about it. It is a Suzuki Sidekick (with us probably Vitara) EZ 96, special model “Pink Panther”. It probably comes from Canadian production, is quite spartan equipped. HSN 1909, TSN 000000X I found the car nowhere in the net, the HSN or TSN knows also no one. He has a whole range of special permissions e.g. without headlight adjustment, without ABS, etc. He has a AHK, which is also registered, but no limit of the trailer load. Does anyone have information about the car? Which Vitara HSN or TSN is the most appropriate one? May I attach to what I want now, or how can I understand that? With best thanks for all the information Michl

  • Suzuki Celerio, gearbox/coupling

Hello, my mother recently had to repair the clutch of her Celerio for several hundred euros. The car is only 5 years old and has only 30,000 km on the speedometer. Does the model have well-known gearbox problems? I also wonder if this should not be covered by a warranty. The car is not driven too much and seems to me to have a quality problem here. Here is an extract of the invoice, which with inspection has over 1000 euros t… Thanks for feedback. Best regards

  • Splash error code P0420

Hello community, unfortunately my Splashi now has a problem once a year comes the error code P0171, which I delete and is good. Now unfortunately every 3 days, almost always at the same place on the way to work the error code P0420 . Driveway to the highway, if Berlin are here, Seestraße direction Charlottenburg, from the Beussel bridge to Jakob Kaiser Platz. Vehicle does not go in emergency run, drives normally further, normal fuel consumption. On the Internet I read a lot, at the m It’s from the broken cat, to broken candles, (renewed at 88000 km), ignition coil, Lambda probe. And what was found about Bank 1 probe 2, but unfortunately I didn’t really understand that. I could see an almost straight 0 line with the readout device at F/T 1×2, only slight rashes. Has one of you already had this problem? I think Suzuki will be installed wildly and that will probably be expensive with a vehicle from 2009. Car has only 92000 km down now. I drive every time. day 20 km on the highway to work and back through the city. Thank you for your help

  • Vitara to be recommended?

My father is interested in the Vitara as a new car. Due to health restrictions, the entry is very suitable for him. Since we have no experience with Suzuki yet, our question is whether the Vitara is recommended? Are there weak points, how is the durability or reliability, experiences… It’s about one with hybrid drive. Thanks already!

  • Speed indicator 10 km/h too high

Good day I’m new here, come from Switzerland Canton of Bern. I bought the Suzuki 2 WD automatic machine in 2016. Currently km stand 36000 km I use a Garmin Navi. In March of this year I noticed that the speedometer always shows 10 km/h too much compared to the Navi. I am sure that this difference suddenly occurred. In my opinion, it was only about 5 km/h before. The original summer tyres are still mounted, so it can’t be related to the tyre size. I’ve already used another navigator, with the same result. I asked my Garagist if he could sort of correct that again. He said no, not possible. I can’t imagine that. Do you have an idea what you could do there. I think that’s stupid if the counter indicates 60 and I actually drive 50. Thanks for every tip. Beat

  • Funny clutch grinding

Hello, question to the original stones For a short time I drive a Grand Vitara Diesel, Bj 2005 170 000 km Now there is a problem with the power transmission. When accelerating from the 3rd gear and a speed from 2200 rpm the clutch grinds, the speed rises to about 2500, — you go from the gas, — then the drive catches again, sinks to 2500 and you accelerate normally further to the next switching point! No matter if 2WD or 4WD. That even works uphill with 2t attachments load! the clutch should be constantly grinding?? What is the cause or how can you explain it? Thank you for your help, I can’t explain it to myself.

  • Suzuki jimny approval 26.05.2020

Hello together, had ordered my Jimny allgrip comfort BJ Sept.2019 at the beginning of 2019. Before 2 KW I received the dealer’s call surprisingly. My Jimny arrived. Now he is admitted the day after tomorrow and I am supposed to leave my 19-year-old Chrysler Diesel PT Cruiser 2.2 morning because of the license plates at the dealer’s yard. Wanted to keep my old number. Is there actually an environmental premium on my S.Jimny petroler buy or on the old Crysler a scrapping premium? If yes, what u And how should I negotiate tomorrow with the Suzuki merchant. So far he didn’t want to know about it. My effort for a corresponding company in my area was unsuccessful. Does anyone know about it? Look forward to your answers and thank me in advance. Best regards from Kai

  • Which Vitara version?

Hej I would like to buy a Suzuki Vitara soon. It should become a relatively new vehicle, first registration 2020. I wonder now, which version should I take from the Vitara. Currently I tend to the Vitara 1.4 Hybrid Allgrip Comfort+. What do you mean? Does hybrid and/or all-wheel drive make sense at all? I don’t want to go to the terrain with the car, but imagine four-wheel drive in winter with snow. My driving profile: 5 days a week every 25 kilometers back to work, al 50 kilometers a day, city traffic and federal road each 50%. In addition, every weekend a return journey of approx. 120 kilometers per route, i.e. approx. 240 kilometers a weekend, mainly highway. In addition, you can shop or other shorter routes in the city. So about 500 kilometers a week, relatively mixed from the sections of the route.

  • from Ignis to Swift Sport

Hello, we have changed from Ignis to Swift Sport. The Ignis was my “Daily Driver”. The car runs every day, in wind and weather. A very good car, especially price/performance ratio. Only the contrast to my fun car was too great. Some cars looked at and returned time and again to the Swift Sport. The car has surprisingly much space, for its size. It looks appealing and has due to the low weight also decent driving performance. Some adjustments the Swift was allowed to “let go” over itself. – the Suzuki folation – Eton two-way loudspeaker – ATS rims – lowering H&R springs – 15 mm H&R rear wheel width – InoXcar rear silencer – dark SW rear lights Everything with TÜV.
