Hello Taxler, I am a car rental company and I am building a W 211 T-model again for the taxe. The car should then be provided as a workshop replacement vehicle “for little ones!”. Now my question: The car is EZ 05/2006, but not the modified one. It had a mirror taximeter installed. That was no longer there when I got the car. Now I got a (externally identical) of a 211, but from a 2007 it – model-kept. The connections fit all, except for a e Plug-in connection, which is white on the mirror, but there is only one black plug left on the vehicle. Can anyone tell me to what extent the conversion is possible at all? I have installed it now and the plug-in connection is dropped. Now lights up after the start F – (Taxi) – tariff. with the buttons comes CarCod or Error. Certainly there are no signals there now. I would be happy if there were a good tip here. When ordering my S 212, there is in the package “Special Model The Taxi” the extension feature “Dachzeichenanschluss für Taxi”. I would be interested in what exactly lies behind this designation? My existing cab canopy sign does not seem to be directly attached to this “Dachzeichenschluss für Taxi”, but first has to get me a corresponding holder for the cab canopy sign. Hello Taxler Yesterday we picked up our new one, W 212 with start/stop function. Maybe as a private vehicle a great thing, but as a taxi the biggest crap. You can deactivate it by the “ECO button”, but with every engine restart it is turned on again. That means with every sting the box goes off,…. you go off the brake, it jumps again. Yesterday I had 2x the situation that one wanted to turn in front of me, I braked, box off, one second later again from d he brake, box again. How long does the starter do with ?? Does not someone have an idea or maybe there is a computer-mercedes-freak that can erase this ?
